Have always had great pizza from the Northern Grill. They used to have this amazing spicy beef sandwich that we all loved so hoping for a comeback someday. Other friends of mine love the walleye sandwich.Great atmosphere and friendly owners

Enjoyed a late lunch here on a cold winter day. Plenty of homemade soups to choose from. My friend and I tried the Packer Backer - very good kielbasa hoagie sandwich. The coleslaw was delicious! Our server was very welcoming and attentive. Will definitely have to come back and try more off the menu!

We always hit the Northern Grill on our first evening in Door County. No exception this year. Super friendly wait staff, despite being understaffed. Desserts were particularly good...cherry pie and cheesecake.

Acceptable food, taste and service. Short staffed. Garlic bread was garlic toast with cold marinara sauce. Pasta pomodoro was ok. Conveniently located across the street from Piggly Wiggly. Ambiance was good, loved the use of wooden ski’s for window trim.

The prices are ridiculous, first off menu says $14 for cheeseburger. We didn't see that they charge extra for onions and side of ranch dressing. Cost for the burger $15.25 each. Too high for this. Burgers were OK but come on. Server was nice. Prices for other items were over the top. Probably won't returnPeople with family can't afford to go out.

This place was recommended to us, they told us it was a family friendly restaurant, looks are deceiving i guess. Very nice atmosphere, games. We were the second table in the dining room along with a table of older people who were interacting with our children we were having a great time without complaint we were asked to move due tour noise level, this is a family restaurant? The other table did not complain? Sorry we don't know what happened, neither did the other table, they said we were "keeping them young". We will not be back and advise others not to do so.

There is a great area for outside seating that both families and couples seemed to enjoy.We ate inside which we love,, with the look and feel of a 'up North Supper Club.' Service was very good and our meals were excellent! We'll definitely be back!

First time here, I ordered a plain chicken sandwich $19 that originally came with all kinds of toppings including cheese. Just wanted lettuce, was charged extra- my husband ordered the fish & chips $16-that came with a tiny tarter sauce barely enough to cover one of the 3 pieces of fish, asked for another and was also charged extra! When we asked our server, she said they charge extra for everything, it’s prodigal- WOW really? A little ridiculous considering we were charged $3.00 for a single can of coke. Save your money, the food is not that good for the prices and to be nickel and dimed on top of it! Too many other choices in this town.Very disappointed.

We visited as a spur-of-the-moment decision and were really craving apps. We were greeted by a friendly bartender who immediately called over a waitress to seat us. Our waitress was also incredibly personable. We were shocked at how quickly the food came out--maybe 5 minutes from sit down to dig in? And everything (chicken strips, fries, and cheese curds) came out hot and extra crispy, just the way we like it.

This is a great choice for burgers, pizza, e.t.c. Great, traditional Chicago style pizza isn't the easiest thing to find in Door Co. They nail it here though, from the crust up. Very flavorful. Service was excellent, atmosphere is clean and what you'll expect for a place named Northern Grill. Outdoor patio is nice as well, with games. Relaxed and quiet because it's a block or so of the "beaten path" of hwy 42.

We just got done with dinner and completely recommend this to people looking for a great meal with amazing staff. One of the chefs is vegan, and he came out to discuss what wasnt vegan about our choices for the burger substitute. It was quite endearing that he was concerned for us. It really meant a lot. 😊They have food for everyone here, which is great for us because its still difficult to find places that are good for all food choices. Thank you for a great time; we'll be back!

This is always a fun and comforting place to eat. The food is straightforward and delicious, and the people are super friendly. The decor and outdoor garden are straight out of the North Woods. But it’s right in town and easy to get to. Try the pizza, ribs, and the awesome Friday night fish fry (my favorite is the combo walleye and perch).

Our waitress was fantastic. Food was great. I had cheese curds and the maple glazed pork chop with red potatoes. We also got Door County Cherry Bombs, which were dangerously delicious.

Waitress was new, but very good. If she wasn't sure about something,she would ask the kitchen first. Very friendly staff. Food was delicious.the only down side was it was kind of pricey. $60 for my husband and I to have an appetizer and main course. Sodas were RC products and refills were not free. We didn't realize this, so we would up paying $6 just for 2 drinks each.the overall experience was pleasant and we would go back.

Stopped in for Memorial Day weekend and the place was packed. After being seated, we waited about 20 minutes with no service, so we went to the host station and asked if we had been assigned to a waiter or waitress. They were very apologetic and comped our first round of drinks. I had the Walleye sandwich and it was fantastic. Great atmosphere, delicious food.

I used to go here every trip for their granny smith apple pizza. This year they were finally open again while we were up there. I wanted to know if they still could make the pizza since it was no longer on the menu, we could not just stop in because we had our 3 dogs with us, they don't even answer their phone anymore just to get an answer to a question.

Always love going into this place. Order food from super friendly folks, then play some pool and pinball. With over 10 different pin ball machines, you are sure to be pleased. The quality of the food is also good. Not an upscale place but typical bar/diner food. Would recommend to anyone wanting to get away from the typical touristy places in sister bay!

Any spot willing to accommodate 13 on a moments notice is great. Everyone chose their own entrees across the board and service was prompt. My Lasagna as sooo cheesy, it was like it was made from cheese curds. Some may love it that way; way different than my expectations. Baby Back Ribs and others came out quick and good. We were in and out fast, well ahead of the play in Fish Creek at the new Northern Skies Theater. That too was fun.
