My husband and I were recently married at the Gordon Lodge in Bailey's Harbor. We boarded our 2 dogs with Madeline at Pet Pleasures and would do it again. Madeline catered to our dog's needs of being separated from the other dogs and provided a secure, comfortable stay for them. Most special to us, she brought our dogs to the venue immediately after the ceremony so we could see our canine family on our special day and have pictures with them. What a treat for all of us!! Our dogs are very special to us and knowing they were well-cared for made our wedding that much more perfect. Madeline gets 5 woofs from us!

My fiance and I are getting married next Spring and we're looking for a place to board our dogs and came across Doco. We were super excited to go there and take a look around but getting I'm touch with someone from there was a nightmare. I called and left 2 voicemails within a week. The 3rd time I called I left my email hoping that would be easier for them to communicate with. Unfortunately they didn't respond well to emails either. After multiples missed phone calls on her end we did get an appointment set up for Monday 8/20, the owner said I could come anytime before 10:30 am. I was not able to come in the afternoon because only an employee would be there and for some reason she's the only person allowed to show the Kennel. She did say there was a dog there with Kennel Cough on Saturday so she said she would be there cleaning and there wouldn't be dogs there but I could at least see the layout. Well, I got there at 9:30 am expecting to see the place. No one was there, she would not answer my calls and still has yet to return my calls after telling me it was okay to come. Also, there were about 8 dogs there even though she was aware that one of the dogs from the weekend had kennel cough. I was appalled by the unprofessionalism of this kennel. If she's not able to answer a simple phone call, return an email, return a text or show up for an appointment that she has scheduled I don't know how anyone could trust her watching there dogs. I can't recall her name, it's not listed in the email I did receive from her and I was only able to talk to her once on the phone, but I believe it was Lee. Instead, we will be boarding our dogs in Sturgeon Bay.

Took my dog for a grooming, and my wife let them know that she had fleas. When the shop owner rinsed the dog, she found a few fleas. At that point, she refused to go any further claiming that fleas would get all in the carpets and she didn't have the proper flea shampoo. Com'on, this is Wisconsin, where fleas, ticks and other biting insects thrive.What kind of dog grooming place would be full of carpets? I don't think that really believe that she didn't want to groom the poor dog.I gave one 🌟 because I couldn't give any less. Avoid this place.

Absolutely awesome place. We needed overnight boarding on only a couple day's notice and she not only accommodated, but also was so welcoming of Piper as though she was her own. Can't wait to come back.
