Had a fantastic lunch here. The bloody was perfect and the food was delicious! One of the few places I've never been to in Door County and I will absolutely be back again.Our server was very nice and promptly got the bloodys to our table. The location has a covered patio, full bar, and indoor restaurant.Reasonably priced, quality, Florida-Gulf style restaurant is what you can expect from this place.

Big shout out to Sergio!! Way to make dining out an experience. We actually ended up eating here twice on our Labor Day weekend because it was so good. Saturday the host was so sweet and accommodating. We had a friend who had hip surgery. She made sure we had an easily accessible table for him. Our server Kim was phenomenal. As was the lobster (consistently amazing), tuna (could not believe how big the serving was), catfish (he said it was the best he’d ever had) and my plain ol chicken sandwich (nothing plain about it!). Those coconut and strawberry mojitos were to die for! Thank you for the wonderful service and delicious food!!

Original review: We couldn’t have been any happier. The service was great, the view is excellent, and the food was incredible. Splurge on the lobster roll - so worth it! The white fish poboy was the freshest fish I have had in a long time. The fries are great and the beer is cold. What more can you ask? 10-5-23 update. Ate at the bar. The service was awful. The food is still great.

Nice location, overlooking the water. Great variety of menu options. I ordered a veggie burger and fries, and I was not too impressed with my food. However, the lobster roll looks AMAZING, and I was told that it is! Lobster mac & cheese looked good, and the portion was huge!Our server was nice, but not really attentive or interested in serving the customers.I asked her about the veggie burger option, and she was completely incorrect with the description. Note: Veggie burger is not like Impossible or Beyond burger...at all. It's more of a patty with a crust and very dry.

We were recommended this place by a local so we knew it had to be good but good is an understatement. Let’s start with the service; kind, quick, efficient, and so polite it will make the experience alone worth it. The Cherry Mojito is the drink to get here. Not too sweet and very flavorful. The cheese curds are so cheesy and are made with a very good cheddar. The lobster roll is to die for and the ribs are so very tender. All in all I’d highly recommend this place.

Massive portion sizes with meals ranging from $15-$37 dollars depending on sandwich or entree.We had Eva as a server and she did an excellent job. She reseated us to the patio area on request when a table cleared out and was attentive and quick.What stood out was that even as she was walking away she was still paying attention and caught that we were debating on getting more drinks/desert giving us an opportunity to make up our mind before moving on.Only reduced one star because the upstairs patio was already closed for the season and the limited menu options (half of which are only available after 4pm)

Excellent service. Ribs were tender and full of flavor. Cocktails were delicious. Didn't have enough room for dessert unfortunately. Also if it were nicer out I would have liked to try out the outdoor patio seating.

Fast service and great staff.Cheese curds were great. The dinner special was a great chocie and the lobster roll was especially a hit at the table.The cucumber watermelon Mojito cocktail was super refreshing on this hot day.

Stopped in for a drink and a snack. Fast service. Good strong drinks. Attentive bartender--very personable...great beard. Cheese curds were good and came out within 10 min of ordering. Smell as you enter the building was quite off putting. ...garbage or sewer... unknown. Food options looked good. Upstairs and downstairs with outdoor seating options.

First off, nice atmosphere and welcoming staff. I ordered the blackened whitefish, notice here there's no fish and that's because it was just too damn good. Just a smidge pricey but it doesn't have to be and it's accurate. Go here if you like good food.

Great service and really tasty lobster rolls and lobster mac. The fries were thin and crispy, just how I like them. Loved the outdoor seating and watching the sunset as we ate. The kid's meals were really overpriced, but I felt the lobster dishes were on point and totally worth it. I'd definitely go back.

Anytime we visit Door County this is our go to spot! They have amazing fall off the bone ribs! Gorgeous views. Good cocktail menu. Great service. The menu could use more appetizer options but otherwise highly recommend.

My husband and I happened to pass by and opted to stop for a late lunch. It was our first time at Boathouse On The Bay. The waitress was energetic and welcoming and was happy to suggest dishes for us. We decided on a classic burger and their house specialty - their famous Lobster Roll. Hubby and I split each to try it and they were equally amazing! My husband said the Lobster Roll was the best he has ever had and that he would easily return just to get it! We also enjoyed the cheese curds with ranch and a chilled glass of lemonade. It was a gorgeous day to sit on the patio and watch the boats in the Bay. Overall, highly recommend! Excellent service, food and view.

Wife and I went here on Tuesday 19th arriving at 1:10, which was not overly busy. We ordered a Whitefish Po Boy and a Burger. While waiting 5 other tables were sat and got there food before we did. The server even brought over another tables food thinking it was ours. We waited 55 min for our food to arrive hoping it would be something special, was greatly disappointed. The server told us that the tickets were done in shifts, which made no sense because we were there well before those other tables. Come to find out at the end that he didn't even put our order in until AFTER the others.As another posting said, the food was nothing special and your paying for the view. If your thinking about stopping here, i would suggest you pass on this.

View is phenomenal! Had the $15 shrimp po'boy which didn't have a remoulade sauce on it. Had to ask for a cajun mayo. Also had the $18 shrimp(6 or 7) basket. Service was excellent.

Great views and good food. But they bring food with onions even when your order without. Makes it hard to enjoy things. A little pricey, but the view is worth it. Lobster Mac n cheese is a must!!

Wonderful experience! We went on a Friday night with a group of nine. My expectations are less with a big group, but our server, Quinn, was on top of everything. He was friendly and efficient and our food was delicious. Highly recommend!
