Wonderful service! The gal helping us was so kind and took time to advise us on the best trails and locations to visit for this time of year. She and her husband do a great job connecting to their customers. Prices for rentals were very reasonable too. They even let us swap out skis for snow shoes half way through the day. Will be referring others here and returning in the future 😁

We came in looking for walking sticks and we found them. This shop has been around a long time and must do a decent business to achieve longevity. The selection of clothing is nice. Less camping equipment, but enough that we found what we were looking for. The saleslady was very helpful. I would recommend shopping here.

What a great store for quality outdoors adventure seekers! We went in looking for belts and were greeted by the owner who is very knowledgeable and will definitely fill you in on anything you need to know about the what to look for. A great selection of higher end outdoor clothing and gear from snowshoes to skis.

We rented cross country skis, boots and poles. They were around 13 bucks with tax for one day (return before the end of the day not 24hrs), which we thought was very reasonable without a reservation of any kind. The staff was helpful and quick. Nice selection of sports goods as well.

We bought a pair of Wilderness Systems Pungo 140 kayaks back in 2010 for our first anniversary. Rick is one of the owners and is very knowledgeable and educated us on what we needed to know as new owners. We tried out some cheaper kayaks and decided on the Pungos as they are much more comfortable. We got a great deal and were able to bring them home at the end of the season. We've used them consistently for almost a decade and love them. Our young kiddos love going out with us. (They are small enough to fit in the cockpit.)Last year we replaced a paddle from the Sister Bay store and got a great deal again. I highly recommend renting gear for the day so you can decide what you want to buy. These guys will set you up for success.

I've been a customer of Bayshore Outfitters for a few years now. I've rented skis from them, and it has been a must stop for my sister and I for outdoor wear. Nice people, and a nice selection of outdoor wear. I haven't yet rented a kayak, or taken a kayaking tour, but now that I am a permanent resident of Door County, I will be doing so this summer. Bayshore is where I will go.

Terrible. Kayak guides didn’t bother introducing themselves to our group, offered no instruction on paddle use or seat adjustments, let kayaks capsize with people in them when they were supposed to be securing the kayaks while people exited, offered zero guidance or leadership in the water. They behaved as if we were tagging along on *their* trip.

I attempted multiple times to rent a single kayak from Bay Shore today with no success. After calling this afternoon to check hours and availability, I attempted the Ephraim location at 4:30, to which I was denied access due to lack of staff (even during peak season). I then called to confirm that the Sister Bay location was open and was reassured the last kayak would be rented at 5:00 pm. I hurried to this location, arriving before 5 pm, only to be told they were closing early. An extremely frustrating experience for a visitor with limited time to spend finding a rental, despite having called multiple times to confirm times.

A number of items were displayed without obvious pricing. In an age where product contact should be limited as much as possible, pricing signage must be out-front and obvious. Shame on them.
