This place is an excellent small town find! The bacon cheeseburger was cooked perfect with more than enough bacon. Fresh cut onions and tomatoes as well and the bread and butter pickles can't be beat. Dessert options are thru the roof! I had the hurricane pie and with everything that's in it it was still very light but tasted amazing! The prices for meals are very reasonable as well. I will certainly be back here next time I'm in town.

Susie and her staff offer a great place to eat at affordable prices.The quality of food is the best in the area. This place is AMAZING & the food is out of this world. My first time and certainly NOT my last!! It had the best bacon cheese burger and the fries are so yummy. I’ve enjoyed the entire place from the ice cream parlor to the company sitting beside us. Highly recommend this Amazing eatery. So cute and a must to visit over and over!!

The Water Street Cafe was a wonderful discovery. I was very impressed by the whole experience. Our breakfast was excellent and the owner made us feel welcome. We will stop back anytime we are in the area. I am anxious to try her lunch menu.

Stopped for a late lunch. Had a patty melt and fries. Food was excellent. Hot and fresh. Got slices of pie to go. Can’t wait to get home to try them. Server was as very friendly and helpful.

Reminds me so much of a soda shop in my hometown, right down to the stools at the counter! This place has that hometown feel. Our server was extremely friendly, helpful, and really made us feel welcome. What a bonus that the food was very good, serving sizes were generous, and the prices were fair. Now the really good news, their pies are homemade and absolutely delicious! I didn't think anyone could ever match my Mom's lemon meringue pie, but they did and I'm grateful. Highly recommended eatery in Shullsburg.

Love this place! Been there numerous times for breakfast and lunch and has always been consistently good. Personal favorites include spinach chicken wrap and raspberry ice tea.

Had the 60/40 and fries. Best Cheeseburger I've had in a long time, and the fries were hot and tasty. Really good chocolate malt - and a lot of it. Really friendly and quick service, too.

What a gem of a find. The food is home made and delisious. The homemade baked goods remind you of Grandma's house when you were little. Don't let this one pass you by. It is well worth the drive and the town of Shullsburg reminds you of a Hallmark movie set.
