I shopped at Al's Market tonight. While at the checkout I asked the gal if someone could carry out my groceries because I recently had surgery and wasn't supposed to carry anything over 10 lbs. She paged Al to come to the front. Al carried my groceries to my vehicle. Now how many grocery stores would do something like that? If you haven't met Al, your missing out! Al has a heart of gold. He's always pleasant and likes to chat. Al's store may be small and it might not have everything your looking for but I tell you sometimes the little things are the best things! Thank you Al.

Nice little store if you need a few essentials quick, but beware of expired products. A good chuck of what I find is 1-6 months expired. Meat section is a gamble. Is okay when they get in fresh meat, but they let it sit until it goes black, and still try selling and asking money for it.

Great grocery the type of place where they remember your name. Stores always clean & tidy. They have an excellent meat selection. Al and his staff give the best customer service you could ask for. Glad to be a customer to a small town American store like Al's.

Best small town grocery store hands down. Al is always more then helpful and greets every customer he sees walk through the doors. Couldn't give Al's more then 5 stars otherwise I would of.

Al's market is typical small-town small grocery store but they have a little bit of everything plus a few extra kind of cool items. Nice to support the local economy.

We are lucky to have a grocery store in Shell Lake. The staff is friendly, the store is clean and I can usually find what I need. A huge bonus is their ‘made in the store, bake at home pizzas.’ Our fav is pepperoni/sausage. They are sooo reasonable & if you call in and order before noon, you’ll be assured to get what you want. (Otherwise, there are some premade pizzas in the cooler.) Al deserves our support.

Well he wanted rating say it Al's Market is the best Market in town I know Al very personally and he is a good man his family lives all his friends help run the store very friendly atmosphere and they have everything that you need there and most of all they have specials every week so if there's anything that you could possibly think of that you need he has it and don't forget my name is Keith Albers and I live in ShellLake and I'm a resident here and, and I just want to say I love that store it is so funny the atmosphere is great so don't forget when you're coming in for holidays or just coming down from Wisconsin from Minnesota I should say he's got everything you need have a great time God bless

There lunch sandwiches on the go was great, very delicious. The building is a little old and there's a small selection of products. No public restroom.
