Boarding was great. We are from Kansas City. We visited Sheboygan and needed a kennel to board our elderly cocker and youthful Great Pyrenees for three days. We came into town to Happy Trails having only talked to the staff by phone and visiting the website. The owners and staff were great. The facility was clean. Our dogs were returned happy. I'd use them again. Thank you.

My son picked up my 3 dogs after a 3 night stay in Oct and I IMMEDIATELY noticed a 2 inch laceration and a 1 inch laceration plus 2 other smaller cuts on his front paw! I called the owner immediately and reported theinsident and nobody was aware of the injury! He needed 5 staples on the large cut and 2 on the smaller cut. HOW do you enter his kennel twice a day and not notice the injury!? In addition, my guy is a Bassett Hound and has a HUGE bark. So either they're lying about not being aware of the incident or they're not being attentive enough or both. By the way, they DO NOT have cameras in the indoor kennel area or the outdoor kennel area. I have taken my dogs here for years with no problems so I can only conclude that this problem is related to the new owners. My dogs will NEVER come back here again.

I've been taking my papillion mix, Oreo to happy tails since he was one or two. He's now 14. Never had any issues. All the groomers love him. When I had my Daisy she went there too. Fast forward and I now have a Lola that's an anxiety queen and doesn't listen (she's a rescue). They do amazing with her too. Just took my 2 cats there a few months ago for the lion cut. Again awesome experience! 10/10 would recommend. I've boarded my dogs there a few times as well. Amazing staff!

I have taken my kitty here for her fur cut twice now and they do a great job! My kitty is a long hair cat and gets pretty matted, and I worry about her. But they do so well and make sure not to make her bald like other places have. It's worth the hour drive, highly recommended place to get your kitty fur cut! Thank you so much! 😺👍

My first trip I asked for the trim and grind. Dogs nails came back rough. Very sharp and all split. I thought maybe it was just a one time thing and because of location and ease of getting in I’d try again. Took two dogs today for trim and grind. I guess neither dog would sit for the grind and it wasn’t done. Never had a problem at other places. I was charged $24 for just a nail trim when the a la carte page says $10 for trim and grind. Not happy and definitely not going back.

Took my son's cat to be groomed. They called to say the cat "was uncooperative" and would not do the grooming. He has gone before, sometimes good, sometimes not. This is your job. Not every animal cones in behaving perfectly. If that is all you will take, it should say on your website. A Pediatrician would not tell a parent not to bring thier child to them because they are uncooperative. Give tips to people instead of throwing them out the door. Very unprofessional staff and owner.

This was my first time there and I couldn't be more pleased. His groomer Kata Mendoza did an absolutely amazing job everything from his nails to his ears and tail trimming was perfect. He was especially happy he got to leave with a complimentary toy and I know he'll be very excited to see her again. I'd highly recommend her to anyone !!!

Boarded our dog, got us in on short notice which I was thankful. However, the owner does not seem very friendly. Picked up our dog and he did not mention how he did or anything, just paid and left. I have boarded our dog other places where they give you feedback on how the dog did, how he ate and everything, if he played with other dogs and so on. Probably will try a different kennel next time. Definitely could use better communication skills. Otherwise, dog didn't seem stressed when he got home.

We have been taking our fur baby Rudy to Happy Tails for a couple years now both for grooming and boarding. We feel confident that he is well cared for when we entrust him to them. Reasonably priced.

Will not be boarding here again. Owner seemed standoffish both times I had to deal with him. Charged us for an extra day and didn't seem to care at all about our dogs or us as customers. Hopefully was just a bad experience and isn't a routine thing for them but they've lost our business moving forward.

Randy and Dianna are just wonderful people my little girl Miss Lily Michael Thompson has been going there since she Been 10 weeks old she is now going to be 9 years old May 1st I can't say enough how to take care of my little girl they were even filled up one time and we couldn't get in and Randy called us back and asked if we would mind if she stayed in the office with him but after a few days in the office we thought it would be a new experience for her and a little worried too because she needs a lot of attention loves to be held so when we picked her up Randy gave us the bad news that he had to fire all she wanted to do was answer the phone when she was in the office and stay on the phone so much for her first job! Chris is the stylist for our boyz Wiggly and Casey. After 10 years and more than six different groomers due to our numerous location moves, this is the first time Wiggly has ever wanted to go to a spa day. Casey on the other hand just loves to be loved so Chris is fulfilling his needs too. Chris does a fantastic job and we love her personal touch. Both of our boyz are rescue mixes, Wiggly a Cavalier King Charles/Cocker Spaniel and Casey is a Cocker Spaniel/Golden Retriever.

Went here once a few years ago and got a bad vibe. Read about someone else’s experience from a couple days ago and one of the groomers was cussing at and inappropriately and harshly handling someone’s dog. I hope they go out of business, these things should NOT happen. People take their dogs to places like this thinking they can TRUST the people. I would be beyond livid if this was my dog. Horrible people.

Lost my business for poor communication. Booked two weeks in advance, called the day before to confirm and was told we didn’t have an appointment. Got a call the day of saying we’re at 3:30. Managed to leave work early and showed up to be told it was at 2:30 and the groomer’s gone home. Disappointing.
