The owner, Heather is great. We just adopted a bird from her for the second time and her kindness shows. We know our new bird didn’t come from a good situation but Heather took the time to get her hand trained and to trust humans again. She is very thorough on the adoption process which is amazing because these birds deserve the absolute best families they will ever have in their long, healthy lives. All of their rescues are very well taken care of and I cannot recommend Larrs enough. Thank you for my sweet babies!

Highly recommend this rescue! I went to adopt a leopard gecko, Flash (now named Cricket), from this shelter last Sunday, September 11th. The lady, I wish I could remember her name,helping me was very kind and knowledgeable about the animals currently there! She also seems to deeply care about her shelter residents and the future homes they go too! It was a quick and painless application/adoption process. Will absolutely be going back when I’m looking for another reptile to add to the family. Thank you again!

Very nice owner and very knowledgeable on all reptiles and birds. She clipped my Iguanas claws or talons today and she was able to keep him calm when doing so. Also found out that are better foods for him to eat then what I feed him. Thank you for the info and help

We took our bearded dragon here to give him up for adoption the guy was very friendly and treaded carefully with his word made me feel comfortable that our pet was in really good hands. Thank you for watching out for the reptiles

L.A.R.S is an amazing place. The rescue and rehoming of birds and reptiles is there main goal and I give them kudos for being such selfless and awesome people. We have donated many an item to them and they're amazing cause. I encourage those that have a heart for such beautiful creatures to definitely visit and if you can save one of the poor downtrodden animals and give them a loving home.

I went on vacation for a week and needed boarding for my two birds. LARRS did a great job from start to finish. I could even message them to check in. All the other birds and reptiles there also looked very healthy and happy. I would recommend them to anyone!

I have sent in two email requests for a few snakes they have, 5 months apart and never received a phone call or email response. You would think they would be actively looking for someone to take in these animals.
