What an absolutely wonderful adoption process!! We saw our Paris (now DoobieDo) online. We went to meet her, and they made it so easy!!! We fell in love with Paris, and she's in her forever home!!

Because it's a volunteer staff hours are somewhat limited. Very clean kept. Very clean animal cages. Very clean animal pens. A place to walk or play w/animals very close by. The dog Parks are also in close proximity. They have a dog path to walk w/animals your interested in. Over all an extremely good Humane Society to adopt from.*A good shelter to volunteer for also*

Seriously don't bother coming here or even bother bringing your pet here. The lady at the desk was very rude when my family went in the facility to adopt a pet. I would not recommend going there or even wasting your time.

This facility is wonderful! The small dogs have a separate area so they are not frightened by the larger dogs. All the dogs have outdoor time everyday in large kennels and time to run free in a large fenced wooded area. Everything was very clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. It was clear that the staff and volunteers love their charges. If you can't adopt a pet from the Shawno County Humane Society consider helping out with a donation or supplies.

We adopted the perfect dog for us from the Shawano County Humane Society. The staff was very helpful! They have dogs and cats of various ages to adopt! We recommend this shelter to visit.

My reason for going to the Shawano County Humane Society, was to bring the supplies they said was need, like bleach, lysol wipes, and dry Purina kitty food. Also, disposable gloves, liquid lysol for spray bottles and reusable cloths. They have several beautiful kittens, plus some larger cats. They also had 3 dogs. Very caring place to find your new pet. Save a life & rescue; DON'T SHOP "PET SHOPS" that get their 'stock' from puppy & kitten mills where animals live in restricted cages in feces, lack of food, water, exercize, care often never touched it given human contact accept to breed. These animals are often abused because they are not a pet but a 'production machine' ! Go to your local, clean, caring animal shelter & save a life. "You will not change the world by adopting a homeless dog or cat, but for that dog or cat you WILL change the world forever."

We got a rescue dog here. He is sweet and well behaved. Their staff was wonderful and very helpful. Check for hours of operation before you go. You won't be disappointed.
