This place is awesome. I wish we had someone like Charlie that supports his community and cars where I'm from. The best part was the meat window. All the brisket and pork shoulders. Felt like Christmas doing window shopping.

Charlie's has most everything! I do admit that some items are overpriced, for example, I once paid $3 too much for a box of Cheerios as compared to WalMart. But if you shop the sales, you can get some good deals.

They have some decent deals on meat and there prices are really good on a lot of items as well as a decent deli but I wasn't the most impressed with the service the deli workers gave us when we were there a while ago

Well stocked liquor department. Diverse product and sale prices that beat the rest!Charlie's is a great place to shop. Excellent meat, deli and bakery departments. You will find the entire store to be top notch.A great place to do your one stop shopping. Friendly service too!

I've lived my whole life in Shawano, and this has been my family's favorite grocery store forever- both its earlier version, the Country Store, and the current establishment. Very local and/or fresh food whenever possible, large selection, and a diverse employee team. A corporate size store and inventory, but much warmer and personable from the consumer perspective. I recommend for the astute and savvy shopper who might like to support local business.

The store was clean and neat the staff friendly. They had a small stand incorporated into the front entrance that sold hamburgers and hotdogs and such being sold for charity that I thought was a great way for the community to help those in need. This truly is a community store and was a nice shopping experience, the bakery was amazing.

It is closer to home than Green Bay. Prices weren't that much higher for convenience. Shelves were stocked, and the store was clean and bright.

is a well stocked store , ive talekd to owners daughter one day looking at can goods, i asked her how this store can be anywhere from .90 to $2.00 more on many products, i didnt get a real answer, i gave her several examples from can goods, like progessive soups. you cant blame distriburtors when same food is double price , even aldis walks the area stores watching prices i have seen them, its sad in last 19 years my beer price and Rum HASNT changed much but a can of soup goes from 1.48 to 4.89 no, this store family is a joke, everytime i hear support local business i laugh now, screw local business that screws its customers like this place

They always seem to have what I want and I don't usually have to wait in line or wait very long to check out. Friendly staff and good selection at the deli/bakery. Their fried chicken is really good as well as their bakery cakes. Everything that I've bought at the bakery/deli area has been good and to taste. The only complaint I have is that they are a bit pricey compared to big box corporate stores but the convenience and quality makes up for it in certain situations. Good selection on produce!

Horrible service. The cashiers are basically none existent. The management is unbelievably rude mostly. The deli has old food .the prices on things is ok tbh. But alot of expired food as well so be careful shopping there. Won't be back

I love this store! The people are wonderful, the meat and produce section is freshly stocked. I really like that the meats aren't frozen and put out for sale. Everything I've purchased was fresh, no greying on the hamburger and no freezer burns on the chicken.The store is always clean. Sales, absolutely great sales! It's a great place to shop!

Tall man with dark hair called man outside homeless, a bum, etc for playing his violin. I call3d to complain to which I was called a liar and hung up on when asked for owners number. Don't go here. Walmart has better customer service than this place. Better prices too

If I could give this business zero stars I would in a heart beat. The staff is so rude and think they are so above everyone; that they think they can talk about a homeless man to customers about how he is dirty and worthless and needs to get a job and stop begging people for their money. This worker should be so ashamed of himself and Charlie's should be even more ashamed for keeping him employed. Not only did this happen but when we tried to make a formal complaint on the phone the to which the man was handed the phone and begins to argue saying none of this happened. 0/10 recommend

Service counter desk representative Rita was extremely snotty and rude. Then to add injury to insult, the potato salad I purchased from the deli had some sort of worm/insect in it. So disgusted, I couldn't even take it back.

What a GREAT little store! Very neatly organized, well laid-out, and a fantastic fresh-food selection.Sadly, the big-box stores have driven a lot of these types of grocers out of the market, but Charlie's seems to be thriving - and that's great!

Charlie's is a pretty nice place to shop for groceries and liquor. We saw over a half dozen German beers and even a ring of blood sausage. In addition to the decent meat selection, they have a good deli. Of course, they sell Sun Drop in bottles too. In warmer weather, they have grilled brats and burgers and a few picnic tables available outside. It's probably not the least expensive place to shop, but the sale prices on many items help offset that. It seems like the bakery and the meats are better quality because many are prepared right there. The location is also convenient, so it seems pretty popular.
