First Cameron the cashier guy is straight up rude like wow. Second Amanda from HR has no clue what hardship is she most likely get fed goodby mommy an daddy . She needs to learn more an grow up. And third dons is a joke they start like caring people but they aren't there festival ran . Not a place for Seymour.

Drove to Seymour yesterday to purchase a couple of things. Purchased a bag of potato buns and cinnamon bread - threw away. Date on the label stated ‘sell by January 24 and January 28, 2024 respectively . Talk about dry and horrible taste. Just lost $10.It will never be the Don’s quality. Such a shame.

We stopped going. My wife, the kids and I used to go every Saturday for donuts. After moving 20 minutes away we still visited on Saturdays. But they are no longer any good. The selection used to be great and now they don't even have the donuts we always got and they taste awful. It was so nice when you got to ask the person behind the counter what you wanted but now they replaced that person with a display case, the same with the deli. It just no longer has that welcoming feel anymore since that changes. One of the unique things about this place you didn't see anywhere else was the person who would help bring your groceries to the car. They were replaced by a cart rack. The next biggest reason is the prices of everything are insane now compared to other grocery stores in the area. It was $7 for maybe 6 dress of turkey. Almost $10 for a a case of sundrop. And the $3 tiny personal size of taco dip I used to get on lunch now $7. I just can't afford work lunches here anymore. At least they still have Taco Tuesdays. I'm just sad we lost one of the best grocery stores in my hometown.

Worst boss ever ever since they were taken over by corporation the store went downhill they don't listen to their co-workers they go off of what hearsay I want you to get told to go kill yourself or should I say go hang from a tree you get fired yep that happened to me and be careful of those foods that are deep in sale they're very expired they don't face front their food properly

Prices way out of line. Expiration dates need to be longer than a few weeks or months. Bring back help for caring out groceries. Bakery needs to be improved , taste like older shipments. In all, last store owner was in touch with Seymours needs for elderly people.

Don’t know what is happening to this once great hometown market. The bakery department is nothing like it was. Stop to get donuts because they were best around. Every one went in garbage. They are disgusting. Bit into and nothing but grease flavor. They all had a good 1/2” oil ring on bottom of each one like they were sitting in oil bath. Also the custard filling had awful sour taste. Totally disgusting. Seen other changes taking effect and it is not the nice place it used to be. I think you better start listening to your customers wants before you don’t have any customers coming back.

Store Wi-Fi password changed in 2022 when it got new owners. I've asked an employee every time I've gone inside and they still don't know it. I've been asking twice a week for over 7 months and they still have no idea what the password to their guest wi-fi network is.If they fail at this most basic of questions repeatedly for 7+ months what are the odds that the rest of the store has acceptable customer service? According to the manager, there is a guest wi-fi network but no one there knows what the password is. I need the wi-fi to check my shared shopping list in case my wife added anything last minute or to double-check a recipe. The Skogen family needs to do better.

I have always enjoyed this store as it was always well stocked with reasonable prices. The people that work there have always been happy and helpful with any of your needs. I am now noticing that the good things above have been changing so I asked what is going on and I was told the store has been sold. This really sucks that someone new comes in and makes so many changes to a good thing that make this store just a grocery store without a personality. Very very disappointed.

I agree with the more recent comments made. Don's had more to offer and a decent variety in products. (Gluten free, keto, multiple name brand choices etc.) They've also, always had a warm and inviting environment. (Employee's smiling and greeting customers and having some enjoyment with working with one another, always carry-out service and they always bag your items etc.) Since the buy-out, it seems to be falling short! Employees do not seem as happy, customers either. Due to changing everything to cater to the more "cold" not "communicable" atmosphere as a large chain grocery store. (Bakery items displayed the way they are and it seems like lately the recipe was changed, always better than anywhere around before.) Most of us realize how the market is right now, and how hard it is to get/keep employees and to get products. Also, it's even harder on small town business but, I feel with knowing this, most would be understanding if, they kept to the family owned, small town communicable state that Don's strived to have all these years. Please, consider going back to some of the things we all loved and appreciated. Thank you!

Want to take a step back in time. This store will remind you of the good old days The customer service exemplifies quality and appreciation of the customer. All the departments have the freshest most delicious items. When you check out the the most remarkable thing happens, there is carry out with your groceries to your car with a smiling face.Wonderful small town grocery store. It has the best selection of birthday gifts, candles and so much more. Can't praise it enough, very feel good experience.

Don’s is great. The meat department is amazing. Best cuts of meat. Love the marinated whole chicken. Oh yeah the bakery is very good as well, we love the fresh rose bud donuts. The deli is great for a quick bite or a whole dinner.

Dons is a nice locally owned grocery store with a pharmacy inside. Very clean and we'll staffed. They carry a wide variety of fresh foods, boxed and caned goods also. They have a good deli and there prices are very reasonable. Support your local businesses. Highly recommend.

Since being purchased, they seem to have lost that local business aspect that most customers enjoyed. If you choose to shop here, you will find a wide selection of foods and other items for only slightly inflated prices. On the employee side of things, many do not seem happy while some of the managers often seem a little to pushy with their kindness.

I've been shopping at Don's for years, and the word that comes to mind is consistent. Clean store, super clean, always. They have an awesome bakery, 4 birthday cakes a year, they're doing something right! Always quality fruit and veggies, great deli selection, and a pretty impressive meat counter. They carry a wide variety of grocery items, that for the most part are reasonably priced. I'm happy to see they added a small pharmacy, I'm sure that's a welcome addition to Seymour. Again, you can't go wrong shopping at Don's, especially if you don't want to drive into a bigger city. YAY for small town business!

For a small town grocery store it's a nice place. They do have hot meals prepared to purchase if you would like them. Remember it is a small town store and not a big city supermarket. The bakery department isn't too bad either.

Has most of the basics your household would need. Meat department is lacking. Bakery and Deli are quite good. Decent alcohol selection. Handy for quick needs, but not as cheap as the bigger stores/chains.

Small town with an awesome grocery store !! Prices are equal or less than the big stores. Wonderful deli and bakery. Meat. Fresh veggies and fruit looked great .

Staff are always friendly. The baggers are very friendly but need to be retrained on how to distribute the weight of groceries and putting soft things at the top. The prices could be lowered. I noticed some items i bought frequently got price increases. Woodmans seems to be the best at lower prices, followed by Wal-Mart.

This was my first shopping experience at Don's. I was very pleased. Great variety, excellent bakery and deli. Lots of variety. Meat and produce very well stocked and everything was very fresh. Store was very clean and organized. Prices very reasonable. I will be a regular customer.

I am from out of state so I needed to pick up a few personal items that the airlines don't much let you have ( unless you pay $55.00 ) in your purse. The 2 young lady's in the liquor dept rang us up pretty quick chatting all the while. It's was fun. Once we were back in our car I saw that my new hair brush was not on my receipt but the young lady's name was and the stores phone number. I called and she handled it right over the phone. Easy peasey. I probably will never be in Wisconsin again but those 2 young lady's in Dons Markets made me laugh . Oh and the prices and selection were great for small town USA.Go find those lovely lady's for yourself.

Such an upbeat place. They go out of their way to make sure you are satisfied. Love the bakery (quality), the meat department is out of this world. They do specials orders as well if possible.

Had stopped here for the first time this week and was very surprised on the size, selection and pricing. Great store for the area. I'd give a 10 for the donut/bakery - outstanding items.

I had no wait for cashier. Has almost everything you would want to buy in food and prices are cheaper than bigger stores in appleton which really surprised me. Most mom & pop stores usually need to charge more. I don't know how they stay in business but I'm grateful they are.

Went to pick up some green tea just yesterday(4/13/19), first 2 boxes I pulled off the shelf expired 8/18/18... there was some that wasn't expired(new packaging even) so thankfully I was still able to purchase some. I brought the expired boxes to the cashier & let her know they were expired & she replied "soooo do you want to buy them?" The cashier was very rude, as we were leaving we said thank you & she did not reply or look at us.I wouldn't normally leave a negative review, but when we arrived home my son was going to drink a beverage he chose & that too was expired(3/11/19)This store could be a great place to pick things up randomly like we had to, too bad you have to do someone else's job while shopping to make sure you get "quality" items.

Very surprised. Great prices, terrific selections and the sweetest young man came and wheeled my groceries right out to my car and packed them in for me! Delightful service and clean wide lanes in the store.

The crew here is helpful, knowledgeable and made me feel like they wanted me to buy their items. Instead of getting your stuff and go. Felt like a old school grocery! Then with out even asking a fella bagged my groceries and brought them to my car. I didn't even know stores still did that? I know the "Big stores" sure don't! Keep up the small town friendly service!!
