Lovely people still maintaining a family operated orchard since the 1920's. They have a wide variety of heirloom and contemporary apples (and some pear varieties). The variety allows you to select just the right apple for your taste buds. The wide variety also allows you to get just the right apple for: eating fresh, storing to eat later, making pies, making caramel apples, making apple sauce, dehydrating, or for any other use. They carry a variety of apples I've never heard of before and are excellent with suggestions. The growers are so helpful and knowledgeable.I went there in 2022 for a combination of 3 apples and it was the best apple butter I've ever made. I'm so sad bc I don't remember the variety of apples. I've searched for my note they wrote on the bag and can't find it.This year, 2023, the crop wasn't as big. A wonderful lady helped me with a 4 apple combo for this year's apple butter, different than last year. She also made a great apple selection for next July for my apple butter!! I was handed a list of apple trees they have and what month the crop is ready.

I gave it five stars because not of for attractions but for apples and pears it had a great variety of apples and a nice selection of pears prices were reasonable unless you expect Aldis prices , my first time there will definitely go back.

Just a darling of a place!! Forget those grocery store red things called apples, here you have a taste of the whole country side with varieties like Russett, Macoun, Liberty, Cortland, Wine Sapp, Melba, Lodi and so, SO many more! Beautiful, simple orchard. No kiddie rides, hay wagons or corn mazes, just great apples in a beautiful setting. Petting the goats ar3 a bonus.

Plan to go here this fall for the delicious pears. Total gem for grabbing a wide variety of apples, too. Knowledgeable and kind staff - definitely a top spot for me.

The apples are fantastic! I'm so happy I was able to enjoy a bag! They are well worth it. An you'd be lucky if you ever get the chance to partake. The people are so nice, warm and welcoming. I recommend to anyone looking for a tasty healthy treat.

I love going to this. The apples are so good and the people who wait on you are like family. We would buy 10lbs a week and sometimes more. Each week a new apple would be in season. Fun trying them out and feeding the cores to the goats. We will be back again.

My family has been visiting and buying apples from Ela's for almost 50 years. The business and farm has been in the same family since the 1920's. They offer over 30 different varieties of apples and my favorite apple cider ever. Free samples are given and feeding your apple core to the goats in their pen is a fond memory of my childhood. Great family run business!

We go every two weeks! The place is so beautiful and the apples are so amazing. The staff are the best and very knowledgeable. Check this place out for heirloom apples and family favorites. The cider is phenomenal!!

I have been going to Ela Orchard since I was 5 and I am now 44 and taking my children there also. I moved to the city and now Ela Orchard is 48 minutes away but I still make the drive many times during the apple season. Oh yeah also get the cider it's very good

I have plans to attend the orchard soon but I tried the cider from the Dane County Farmers Market and it was hands down the best cider I've ever had, I will be buying much much more in the future.
