I booked a youth turkey hunt with Larry, very welcoming, provided onsite accommodations and did everything in his power to get my son his first turkey. We hunted with Rick Hernandez, who did an amazing job with getting is on a bird. His deep knowledge base and time put in pre season was top notch. Most importantly he was absolutely stellar with my son! His passion for turkey hunting and passing that on to the next generation is second to none. I would highly recommend Larry and Rick to anyone, especially if kids are going to be hunting! We will certainly be going back to Salty Dog Outdoors!!!

Salty Dog Outdoor llc hosted my group for a city permitted goose cleanse hunt. With onsite lodging we could not of asked for more. Larry was very friendly and accommodating. The amount of scouting he put into the hunt was astonishing. Larry also processed all the geese for us and put them in those handy freezer seal bags. He also books duck hunts on the Mississippi river that we will be booking for next year.If fishing is your thing he's got you covered from rods to baits he know his trade.Respectable, professional and knowledgeable

It was an awesome weekend spent with Larry on youth opener. His passion for getting people hooked and enjoying the outdoors is remarkable. Putting hours into scouting to ensure his clients have the best experience and taking the time to teach my boy the ins and outs of duck hunting in his first year. He worked tirelessly to get the boys on ducks and my son was able to get his first duck. An awesome father son experience neither one of us will forget. Definitely goes that extra mile for his clients.

First and foremost, Thank You Lawrence Holicky for a memory that will last a lifetime. Veterans if you get a chance to participate in one of his trips you will not be disappointed. He will not only get you on the fish but the camaraderie I experienced with this man was off the charts. While on vacation I was wanting to get a in a day of fishing. Larry reached and made it happen. I had a great time, caught my 1st Wisconsin Walleye, and a perch, which I haven’t cot one of those for at least 35 years. Can’t Thank Larry and Salty Dog Outdoors enough. What a great day on the water. Look forward to the next time I’m back in Wisconsin.

Best charter in the midwest! My wife and I took a day trip and with the help of Larry(the guide) absolutely crushed it! Put 27 white and 7 walleye in the cooler. That's not counting the 14 walleye that we threw back, including my personal best at 20 inches!!! Highly recommended and very professional!

We had a fantastic experience with Lawrence! 3 days and 3 nights of amazing fishing, and camaraderie! Lawrence had the perfect sense of when to switch species and locations depending on the bite. We would smack some walleye, and when that bite would turn off, we would switch to bass or channel catfish. Even on our slowest day we still brought in 5 or 6 keeper fish for the freezer. Laurence will get you on the fish, and process all your fish for you. Can’t wait to book another trip!

Highly recommend then we duck hunted it was a couple hard days but he worked his butt of to get the young boys on the birds. Very friendly and was a great teacher explaining a lot to the boys.
