Update: I want to thank Kathy for reaching out with a personal handwritten apology letter and also returning my check. As a small business owner, I understand the struggles with employees. I appreciate the fact that Kathy will make sure this groomer gets the proper training before being left to groom without supervision. I changed my review from 1 star to 3 stars, but the owner taking full responsibility deserves 5 stars. So kudos to the owner. Thank you Kathy!I do not recommend this place at all!! They do not know how to groom!! I took my Morkie in for a groom. I told the girl that I wanted a yorkie cut. Short on the body and just trim the top of her head, face, and her ears and leave her tail. SPECIFICALLY LEAVE HER TAIL!! I get there to pick up my dog, and she is completely butched. The hair on top of her head is chopped completely off....Completely!! Uneven chopped. Her ears are not even. One is pointed, and one is rounded. And if that wasn't bad enough, they cut half the hair off of her tail. I was shocked, to say the least. AND the girl told me how my dog had a bad attitude towards her. I've never had anyone complain that my dog was naughty at all!! Oh, and the icing on the cake... I was told the groom was $35 when I scheduled the appointment, and when I get there to pay, she tells me it's $45. I didn't want to be rude to these girls....well, I kind of did. But bit my tongue, paid and left with zero intentions of ever coming back. EVER. Thankfully, I do have a regular groomer. I only took my dog to this one because I was in the area, reviews seemed good, and she had an opening. Now I know why she is not booked 2+ weeks out like everybody else.To the owner, hire someone who knows how to groom!!!!

PET OWNER BEWARE! My mother left her 4 lb. Yorkie in Kathy's Animals Ark care while she left for her wedding/honeymoon. She returned from her vacation to find out her dog had been killed by another dog while she was away at this pet boarding facility. The owner was less than sympathetic and would not accept fault considering the circumstances happened at their facility. Now over 1 year later we finally received some compensation after an extensive court battle, but that does little to replace a pet. I know I treat my pets like children and they mean the world to me. I suggest if you value yours the same you look for another place to board your pet.

Skye was well taken care of by Kathy and her staff when we took off to ride the mountain bike trails for a few hours. Her rates are great too!

The first pet I took there was my dog Whiskers. She took such good care of him and gave a report like day care, potty records and all. One time she did cut his ear when he shook his head while getting a clip but nothing serious, he was fine. Even with that I still give her 5 stars!

BEWARE BEWARE BEWAREFLEAS, KENNEL COUGH AND CAT RESPIRATORY VIRUS ABOUND!If you love your pets,please find another place. One worker there will treat her own pets BEFORE any boarded animal.She's pretty rude to most people but will be half way decent to your pet, but ONLY, if SHE likes your pet!The owner is too busy to care! Run the other direction and find another kennel!
