We find The K9 country lodge to be a safe and friendly place to take our two dogs. The reservation process is simple and transparent, and a confirmation email or call lets you know everything is set and there will be no surprises. The dogs are well cared for, and happy both when we drop off and pick up. You can rest assured that your pets are happy and healthy here. The negatives....It is pricey, and the drop off and pick up hours are quite limited. You must drop off / pick up between 8 and 10 or between 3 and 5. We often need to board the dogs an extra day due to being unable to meet the drop off time and still make a morning flight. We accept the negatives because on balance it is worth it to us, but longer pick up and drop off hours would be preferred.

We always book with K-9 Country Lodge for time away from our pet. We never worry about the quality of care or service our pet receives during the stay. Our pet needs lots of attention and exercise, which we know he gets at this facility. Staff are always welcoming and provide great customer service during the process!

I used to take my dogs there all the time for many years. They are a good facility. But recently I called to make a reservation for my granddaughters dogs. Their prices have raised significantly, just about triple what they were just 2 years ago. I was quoted 48.50 for one dog and 38.50 for the other even though they would be sharing the same room and we were providing their food and treats. That's 87.00 plus tax a night. So around 93 dollars. Absolutely out rages. Will not be using them again.

My almost 8 year old maltipoo Walter is always loved and taken care of by the staff. We won’t ever take him anywhere else for our dog boarding needs. Thank you K-9 Country Lodge!

Beautiful facility (even though we didn't see inside because if Covid 19) and very accommodating! It was a last minute decision to board our 2 year old pitbull Lucy who has SEVERE separation anxiety so we could go kayaking for the day during our camping trip to Lost Falls Campground without having to worry about leaving her in our camper. The price was great! We weren't sure if we were going to keep her overnight but it was no big deal, my husband surprised me and picked her up with no issues! Highly recommend!!! ☺️

Modern place for your pet to stay. Regular and deluxe individual areas with doggie beds. I feel at ease trusting my dog with them. She even got a massage for just a few more dollars.( Doggie spa treatment) Nice dog walk. Groomer is in same building. Veterinary Services are close. I was impressed. Check it out online. For a small town, it is worth a look. My dog loves it!

My dogs were here for 2 weeks and seemed no worse for the wear when I returned. They were clean and happy. I would bring them back any time. The staff were very nice, even helped me carry everything out to my car.

It’s okay and all but it is incredibly expensive and is cash only-which I think is dumb because it’s usually hundreds of dollars (sometimes a thousand) and people just can’t take out 1k in cash as if it were no problem. It’s safe to say that we may find another place for the dogs to stay due to just how expensive and problem inducing it was. If you are completely ready to spend almost a thousand dollars in cash for your dog to stay in this kennel then by all means, go ahead, the only thing going for this place is how caring the employees are towards the animals.

We use to have our dog lodged at K9 country lodge, until recently I was told they will no longer lodge my dog because I posted a negative review, which is not true. Even if I was allowed to lodge my animals there again, I wouldn't. Everytime my dog comes home he seems like he wasn't given water., very dehydrated. Also they charge you to have your dog on a free run..... why would I want my animal caged up outside. They have a lot of kids working there, so how well are the animals taken care of. They tell you that you'll get a small kennel,.then upcharge you for a bigger size.

They mixed up my dogs medicine. Gave her a tranquilizer instead of her anxiety medication for a storm passing through. They were clearly labeled. So that's frustrating. Now I have to spend my day closely monitoring my dog, but she didn't die when I was gone this weekend so I guess they did their job. Just make sure you watch them write down your instructions when you drop your dog off. Otherwise they are good.
