LOVE, LOVE, LOVE!!! This is the cutest local bookstore. They have so many fun toys, crafts, and other collectibles on top of their amazing book selection. The owners and employees are so kind, helpful and fun AND they host some great events/clubs.

Amazing book store. Great place to find gifts. We love all of their special events and classes! My daughter wrote a book during one of their classes and they published and printed to sell in store. It was an amazing experience for her.

Fox Den is such a cool store for books and so much more. We've been coming here since they were at their old spot across the street, and love the new space with the basement setting. Tons of stuff beyond just books and this has been a go-to for Christmas and Birthday gifts for us for years now. Also, a cute dog is sometimes around and mingling if he's in the mood! :) The owners are always very friendly and interactive, which is nice. They can get quite busy on weekends year-round, so keep that in mind. Hit one of the other great places on Main St. and come back, since they're open pretty late. Finally, to the reviewer who said they were "woke" (eyeroll lol), there is truly something for everyone here, and maybe you should come back and give them another chance!

The lady owner approached my children and I when we entered telling me that if we are not vaccinated we need to wear a mask. I replied with a no thank you and we were asked to leave. She again asked me in a round about way and it was so uncomfortable being discriminated against because of her assumptions on our vaccination status. It’s real people and it’s happening in our town. What bizzare times we are living in. What a shame we LOVED this store and shopped here often. We won’t be back.

This is the most lovely, charming, locally owned store. They have such a wonderful selection - great gifts for both adults and kids, although I wanted to buy everything for myself too! The staff are so attentive and helpful, and knowledgeable about all of their books and items. I appreciate that they care about the community and want to keep safe all of their staff and customers. Shop here - you'll always find something great!

This place is AMAZING. Two remarkable owners who have spent their lives working in Bookstores. Not only do they have incredible book knowledge, but the assortment of toys and games is wonderfully unique. They spend untold hours finding the right items for their store.These owners also LOVE their community, which is why they are cognizant of the dangers of COVID and ask people to wear a mask. Because they care about YOU.Awesome store that River Falls is extremely luck to have.

This locally owned bookstore is the best! It's extremely well organized, the staff is helpful and kind and the wide selection of high quality used books is vast. Their ordering process is so convenient. And, I should mention the gifts! Whenever I need a little something special, I return again and again to Fox Den Used Books. If you ask for help in your search, you're likely to get in-depth recommendations and demos of games. Personalized service at it's finest.

I love this bookstore. They are so kind and welcoming to all. I love that they will order in books for you that they don't have in store. My daughter absolutely loves the amazing selection of stuffed animals, toys, puzzles, and games! The public events (pre covid) were wonderful. I can't wait until they can start up again.

What a find! River Falls is so lucky, this store is a total gem. The gift selection is amazing, it's my new go-to for teacher, nurses, and other similar appreciation gifts. Also the toy gift selection is on point, there's always something special for the kiddos I am shopping for. Local jewelry, candles, quirky and whimsy, I love every inch of this shop, it emotes love and kindness with creative window displays and wildly fun activities for the community like storytime, letter writing to Santa (at-hem, Santa writes back if you mail your letters here!), and the inspired Buckthorn Academy magic school (their take on a Harry Potter type magic and mystery school). Game nights, book clubs, and probably so much more.. Used book selection is excellent, there's always something for my basket, and I enjoy the brand new books they have too.

I spent an hour, as it was my first time shopping this business. It was the most awesome experience browsing and picking out items for myself, friends and grandchildren of all ages! Owners/employees very friendly and knowledgeable of what they have on their shelves. Everything from books, stuffed critters, games for all ages, jigsaw puzzles, doodads, and unique gifts. Simply... I fell in love with this cozy shop. I'll be back!

Fox Den Books is a welcoming, fun place that has such a variety of things to purchase, even if you aren't looking for books. The staff are always helpful and friendly. This locally owned business is a treasure trove of wonderful books, toys, puzzles, GAMES (oh, friends, the GAMES!), art supplies, cards, stuffies, toys, unique finds, and trinkets. Also, chocolates, stickers, magnets... So many good things. The staff and owners always make us feel welcome and special--as if they popped up in River Falls just to serve us. And the most amazing thing is that they make everyone who walks in their door feel that way. Advertised as a used book store but has new books and fun, miscellaneous items, trinkets, etc.This store is on the small side, is quaint, beautifully decorated with a huge, diverse inventory. The staff is friendly and helpful. The prices are a bit high but that's to be expected in the small town of River Falls as this is somewhat of a specialty shop.If you're looking for someone who has everything, this is the store for you. A wonderful shop to browse through with a good friend/visitors/vacationers enjoying the discovery of trendy new things.

Amazing shop with so many cool things! Great selection of book, toys, and educational toys. The games & puzzles are my families favorite along with the "thinking putty". We are so lucky to have this gem here in River Falls. As a teacher, I often stock my classroom library with goodies from the Fox Den. I am also building up a great collection of puzzles for indoor recess! As a mom, this has always been a favorite place to go for games, art supplies, gifts, and of course books!

Fox Den Used Books is an absolute treasure in our River Falls Community! Books? Absolutely - the most magical, wonderful books, games, adorable stuffed animals (+ cute socks!) & tons of learning opportunities for kids fill this store to the brim. But beyond that, Heather has taken all of us into a beautiful, fun world where children’s story time continues through social media during covid, where we can get sorted into our proper house & play Quidditch like Harry Potter, where community can gather with family for games nights, laughter & to visit with friends. Heather and Fox Den have created a beautiful community within our community - Heather & Fox Den are family.
