I love this grocery store. It's my personal favorite. There produce is always fresh and clean. There organic produce is my favorite. There our family brand of chicken broth is no joke the best I've ever had. I love Swanson but it gives me gut rot but our family is just so good and easy. There selection of food is always good and changes on demand of customers.

I love this store! Great prices, clean and organized and very friendly staff! I was blown away with the help I received from the liquor store manager last week. I locked my keys in my car and she exhausted all efforts to try and get help to unlock it. She even had her son give me a ride back to my office. So incredibly kind and appreciated. Kindness and help like that is rare these days! Kudos to all the staff they are truly the best group of people!

Customer service is so poor. Even if you manage to find someone to help you, there is almost never a smile or kind word. The automated checkouts barely work and when you need help with them the people who work at Family Fresh have a difficult time getting them to work.

This store...worst grocery store I've ever been to and not because of the staff, they're great. My review is about the business practices of the store. I bought a large bag of romaine lettuce, didn't check the use by date, my fault, it expires today. Their store card can't even be used until you sign up which takes at least 24 hours. They price gouge and claim you're getting a "deal with card". Inflation is bad enough without our local businesses taking advantage of us, selling us expired products and price gouging.

It was a Sad day when Family Fresh sold their Soul to the Devil County Market in Hudson! So I have to drive to River falls to shop there. I refuse to shop at County Market!✌️

Close to campus and if you are a student/faculty and have their member card (I have the key fob) then prices are not that bad. I like their caribou coffee bar, sushi, the specialty foods like mochi ice cream balls, and seafood selection. They have frog legs, for example. Their discount meat bin is alway fun to check out. The liquor shop has a decent selection of wine n craft beers.

Typical small town grocery store. I usually shop at Aldi, and whenever I do a full shopping trip at Fam fresh my jaw drops at the total. However, very convenient hours, nice selection of products, and connected liquor store are all a plus.

What a strange liquor store. I work promotional marketing. I have years of Off Premise experience. First, I'm told that I would have to leave early because Leinenkugels was coming...but, strangely the leftover cans were already in the crate where singles are sold. when doing a sampling at this place, only one of each can will be out and the rest can go into the dollar crate...so, being that Leine was in the crate, they were not coming. But, I was allowed to stay because I also passed a test to see if I would card the manager's son. Yes, I was tested...it was bizarre. I was also told that the ice bucket should be used as a trash can. So, where would the beer go so it does not get warm? In the cooler, where else? I had requested ice to be placed in the bucket instead. First and last time at Family Fresh.

I love Family Fresh Markets. They have fresh produce and vegetables. The meat department is very clean and well organized.High-quality name brand products. It reminds me of Tom Thumbs we used to have down south before they went out of business in the 80's.

Seen grapes that were moldy two weeks in a row. Got strawberries that were moldy inside the carton. Rotisserie chicken has a pasty consistency....

Sales and selection are pretty good, not great but pretty good. The deli and bakery are pretty good, the meat department is really good. Full price can be a little on the high side. For the size of the store I think it's about as good as you could hope for, I probably get most of my groceries here.

Update May 2018: they rearranged​ all the aisles, but what is most peculiar is all the pop and junk food are now prominently placed in the front two ailes closest to the door, whereas before they near the middle / back. They also don't stock as much of the natural Hanson's and Blue sky sodas anymore. Makes it too easy to suspect kickbacks. Shopping more at Dick's these days.Jan 2018: This store uses "club cards" and if you don't have one or forget to enter your number you pay full price not the listed sale price. And they post lots of "sale" prices that aren't really sales. For example 4 cents off of a 4 dollar product. Also tried to charge $5 for potatoes listed at 1.50 (WITH club card). Watch out at the checkout.

As I was checking out at the self check out, my card malfunctioned so I asked my friend if he could pay for my items over on the self-checkout he was on and he graciously said yes. A young male employee with a dark brown bowl cut and glasses kept staring at us with squinted eyes. It was uncomfortable. As we finished checking out and as we were leaving, he stopped in front of us and said, “You have to pay for that stuff.” I said, “You just watched us pay. We have receipts.” He demanded to see the receipts and then aggressively went through our bags and then threw our receipts away. He didn’t look at us and mumbled, “sorry”. Very unprofessional and weird. Felt kind of violating. Didn’t appreciate that experience. This happened on Sunday, April 2nd at around 9 p.m.

Nice clean updated store. Friendly helpful staff. They had frozen chicken breasts for just over a dollar a pound! I use the word had because I brought most of it... Sorry. It's a pretty standard grocery store, I don't really know what to say about it that stands out. They had a lot of nice deals going, I saved 64 dollars off a 210 dollar grocery run. A good month worth of food for my family.

Misleading. I was told over the phone that there is a liquor store attached that is open until 12. I drove kind from kind of far and I would have turned around if you guys didn't give the impression that I would be able to get to the counter with the little time I had, which honestly should have been feasible. When I got there I walked to the liquor store door which was locked and had a note on it, so I had to walk all the way to the other side of the building and back over on the inside.After finding the alcohol area with a few minutes the whole "liquor store" was locked up which had pretty much the entire beer selection I was told would be available aside from white claws and light beer in the grocery section and had to bring it all the way to the grocery register where they weren't able to scan my ID in time. The dude who followed me the entire time was not very helpful and raised his voice a little and said they can't sell alcohol after 12. It's okay because I didn't really want any of the few things you had out, I'm not upset that I can't get alcoholic seltzers tonight I'm baffled at the service. Real liquor stores give better service and don't make you walk 500 yards to grab from a few options if they are "open".Don't say you have what sounds like a separate liquor store where I'd be able to grab something good and pay quickly. I'd probably just grab something expensive and be out in time. I'm just posting this experience because I honestly got the vibe that somebody should have been running the other side and was not fully doing their job, if that's not the case maybe conduct yourself a bit differently.

Nice store, lots of variety. Sushi made on-site. Sorta pricey, but all food is these days. Go there to finish my shopping list that Aldi's doesn't stock.

Very disappointed in how things are bagged at this store. Bags are made very heavy to where they rip. When my groceries were bagged I didn't realize that they put all of my groceries in one bag including: half gallon of orange juice, half gallon of chocolate milk, ice cream, cheese, two packages of baby cucumbers. When I stepped away from the register, the handle on one side of the bag ripped off. I lifted the bag up from the sides and carried it from the bottom of the bag. When I got home, I showed my fiancee the bag. Not realizing that if I hadn't grabbed the bag from the bottom, everything would have broken through the bag. There was a hole started on the bottom, and the seam was also starting to rip as well. Many rips on other parts of the bag as well.

I just moved to river falls yesterday from Oklahoma. I stopped in for a few things this morning. This is a fantastic store. Love the extensive deli. There's a huge variety of hot and cold food to choose from. The bread selection is outstanding! And the meat market with butchers behind the counter- oh my word! Ya'll have not seen the last of me! Love love love your store!

Here’s the way I see it. -1 star for high prices, -2 stars for banning my friend for no reason. Not like that personally effected me, but I avenge my homies.Family Fresh is a staple of River Falls WI. If I was showing someone around the city, I would take them here as a landmark. If you want to buy groceries, you’re probably coming here because SCREW ALDI and I didn’t even know Dick’s existed for the first half of my life. There’s a lot else you can do here though… It’s a great place to meet up with people, get coffee, go to the bathroom, get a free cup of water (Ask the caribou employees for some “fam water”). Or you could lock eyes with the manager and have a staring contest, he’s 50% scary, but 50% stupid looking, so don’t be intimidated. If it comes to it, it’s a great place to have a nap with your homeless friend. There’s a great free lounge area where you can do pretty much anything. Rating: 4.3 stars normally, 3 stars cause we got beef

Prices posted on the shelf never ring up correctly. A lot of the staff is rather abrasive and unfriendly. Had to ask for a price check and found out after the phone call from the floor employee to the cashier he was still going to charge me full price! I walked back to the department to inquire and she said she told him I was right and to change it. Unbelievable. He lied to me and for some reason wanted to charge me incorrectly. So disappointing.
