Can't say enough good things about this place. Owners were so kind and welcoming. I reserved a campsite last minute. They had a bunch of scouts on site taking up most of the spots but had two available and they recommended one over the phone which I took. I stayed at campsite #1 right on the Kickapoo. They had firewood chopped and waiting for me. Site was clean and quiet and everything I needed, had electrical but I only needed primitive and that's what she charged me for. Great deal!!They spotted my car for me down at landing 14 and ran me back to drop my kayak in and got me on the water before the big group.I'll be back again before the summer's over!

Nice cozi campground right on Kickapoo river. Appreciate their friendly services and willingness to accommodate. They gear us up and do all the work so we have an enjoyable few days with our group. We bring our guitars for a campfire sing. Dinner across the street satisfies everyone. See you in June. Thank you.

Great service and equipment. We got there just before the last run for kayaks and the staff was super nice about it, still went on the 3 hour trip. They pick you up at the end of the trip and was very timely. Will definitely be going back!

what a great place to camp and float. we stayed for 2 nights and did a canoe trip. it was spectacular. also they have great prices and the owners are the best.

This place is very special to us. We first visited over July 4th weekend and had a great time; we walked to town the first night to see a band playing, toured the beautiful garden and learned some history. In the morning, we grabbed life jackets and paddles from the shack, and they pulled our kayak right to water edge for us! We only went to the 4th bridge our first time - but we came back a couple weeks ago and made it to bridge 7, which was about 5 hours. We would’ve gone further but there were trees down. Everybody should check out Mr Ducks; Tom has the best prices and campsites around!

We have been coming to Mr. Ducks since 2016 and love the place!!! We have the best time ever on the river with MR. DUCKS. Camping along the beautiful river in such a clean wooded area. Service is awesome!

Loved our tubing adventure! Thanks to the friendly crews from departure to pickup! Highly recommend the tubes have back rests and bottoms if you want. Regular tubes as well!

I paddled this river years ago w/ a Mr. Duck canoe rental and had a great time. Today, I returned for a second trip, in a kayak this time. The folks working were so accommodating and considerate. I wish I knew their names, but they were really friendly! This year they have brand new kayaks and canoes, which made the trip even better. I will absolutely recommend Mr. Ducks to anyone paddling the Kickapoo. Even if you’re just looking for a ride back up river, call them up, they are so great.

This is the fourth time we have kayaked with Mr. Ducks and it will be our last. Check in was fine but once we got down to the launch I thought there was a school trip headed out. Nope- all these kids standing around were apparently employees. Nice group of kids but we were launched by a girl that couldn’t have been more than 9 years old. When asked a question she said, “I don’t know, I’ve never even been on a kayak!” We ended up having an issue with one kayak and had to end our trip early. When I spoke to the woman back at the base, she was so incredibly rude and childish and basically threw money at me and it made me wonder why she’s in customer service. She clearly hates people. I would have been happy with a credit for next time or even an apology but she just had a snide comment and turned away. Too many other places out there to put up with behavior like that. We will try another outfit next time. We love the area and enjoy this annual trip, but this definitely put a damper on things.

First off I’m not a dog. I’m the owner of the dog. We found Mr. Duck by google. We drove two hours off our path home from Mackinac to tube down the river. Happy we chose Duck. The lady who checked us in even gave me some drinks because I was so nervous. Nice people. Low price. The floating was perfect for kids. Glad it was a week day and not many drinks. Only one group. And kids got to see a girl vomit in water. Gross.

My wife and I used Mr Ducks to kayak the river on our anniversary. The owner was very kind and the rates were very reasonable. We had a great time and will return again.

We had a blast canoeing and tubing this weekend! Camping too! Campground is clean and quiet and relaxing! We got caught in a rainstorm during our canoe trip and got off at the wrong landing. Mr.Duck came to our rescue and got us all back safely! Very nice people and do their best to make each trip down the river a great one! We will be back next year!

This past weekend we went to the Kickapoo river for the first time. As we were looking for canoe rentals we found Mr Ducks. We tried using our own inflatable boat but that didn’t work out. They were so kind, friendly and accommodating to us (also very patient) since that was our first time canoeing and we didn’t know much. Their prices are also very affordable. We hope to go back soon and bring our friends with us. Thank you so much for everything.

Excellent experience with Mr. Duck. My partner and I brought our own canoe and just needed a shuttle. We were flexible on our travel dates and didn’t know exactly when or where we were going to be picked up. After 4 days of beautiful canoe camping, they arrived within 30 mins of our phone call. Super friendly staff. Would definitely recommend!

Had a great experience with ducks on the river yesterday 7/2/22! It did end up storming towards the end of the day and all companies were running like crazy to pick people up! Some people were getting on buses they didn't even rent from! It was a bit of a wait to be picked up as there were so many people on the river but we were thankful that all companies were working extremely hard to make sure everyone and anyone was picked up an taken to correct locations! So nice to see small businesses all working together when weather strikes!

It was our first time on the Kickapoo River & we will definitely be back!! The crew at Mr. Ducks made it a super smooth & fun experience. We told them what bridge we wanted to be picked up at & they were there within 5 minutes. They brought us back to their headquarters where we had our camp gear set up. Yes, they have camping next to the river. It was so beautiful. They provided tons of firewood & the camp was spread out enough where we didn't feel like we were too close to others. The local town has some really cute restaurants & bars that are walking distance. This is one of the best kept secrets of Wisconsin...not for long though ;)

Had a great time on the Kickapoo thanks to Mr. Duck’s! Took my two boys canoeing/tubing for the first time this year & we had a blast! The new owners are super friendly, helpful and really doing a great job cleaning the place up! We will definitely go back! Highly recommend if you’re looking for a great, family friendly place to camp & or enjoy the Kickapoo!

I had a very poor experience at Mr. Ducks. We do a family tubing trip every year and decided to use Mr. Ducks services this year. All was well until the end trip. We called three time for a bus ride back to our cars and we were told that “they are on there way.” Soon 45 minutes went by and my family and I were sitting in the pouring rain. We saw three other tubing services come to our location, but not Mr. Ducks. We had to send our young child/parent on a different vendor, “Driftys” due to it being so cold and he was having cyanotic feet. Very scary. Thank you Driftys for taking our child to the car to warm up. Very thankful for Driftys. Once we finally got picked up, the driver was reckless. The road back is very curvy and it was pouring rain and I didn’t know if we were going to make it back safely. Once we reached our cars and service center I went to speak to the manager about how disappointed I was and they didn’t seem to care. I have never had such a terrible experience tubing. USE A DIFFERENT VENDOR!

Fall of 2021 I had reservations for a campsite and a canoe for the weekend following Labor Day.I'd been in contact with them a few times through email in the months leading up to the trip including an email a few days before we arrived to confirm something about our scheduled trip.When we showed up, a sign on the door indicated they were closed for the season. I called the number on the sign and was told a repeat of what the sign said.I told the guy on the phone that I'd driven four hours from Chicago and asked if there was anything he could do. He told me that he wasn't even on the state. He told me that he couldn't have people working that weekend because "it costs money to run a business."But, he said, I was welcome to still use the camping facilities. I could just slip the money under the door. And I'd have to rent a canoe from someone else.Thanks for trying to ruin the weekend I'd planned with my son and father-in-law.Fortunately, the business next to Duck's was eager to help is out.I wouldn't even recommend Mr Duck's to my ex-wife

My family & I rented tubes from Mr. Ducks. This was our first time floating down the Kickapoo.I did make reservations about a month in advance. Check in was easy and the tubes were in good condition. We were given instructions on where to exit & how to arrange for pick-up. Pick up was quick & easy. Overall very please & will rent again from Mr. Ducks.

new owners as of a few months ago.Go see Gracie and her dad during the week!This will have been the 3rd time on the Kickapoo, 3rd time renting from Mr. Ducks. I don't think I will ever rent from ANY OTHER OUTFIT!!!Friendly, professional, great rates!! They are so helpful and accommodating.You'd be making a huge mistake if you went with any other rental. And bonus? There is camping right where you put in!!Float, kayak or canoe - they have them all!!I can't wait to get back out there - which will probably be in about a week :-)

We had 3 generations tubing and kayaking on the Kickapoo river. The staff at Mr Ducks was friendly, helpful, knowledgeable and very efficient. I would recommend Mr Ducks to anyone wanting a great time on the Kickapoo river. Thanks for a great afternoon!

We went on a Monday this year, and the river was pretty empty. Our group rented tubes, and they also helped a friend of ours who brought his own canoe! Super friendly service, as per usual.

This was the Second year I have taken kids to this campground to camp, fish and Kayak. Love it here!! Everything here from the artesian well, nice kayaks, campgrounds well maintained with plenty of firewood included in your camping fee which is amazing, fishing onsite or anywhere in walking distance. And the owners and staff there are so nice and accommodating. I cannot say enough how much I enjoy this place and people!

Our favorite place on the kickapoo river. We drive 5 hrs to camp and kayak here! Great upgrades over the last few years! Excellent trout fishing. Close to awesome breakfast and hiking too.

I've been to every other canoe rental in Ontario, and this one is the worst. Their canoes are way out of date. Our group rented two canoes from them, and both had leaks. Every stop we made we had to dump water out. However the staff there was all helpful and friendly which was nice. The owner needs to step up and get their canoes on par with the others in town though.
