We've been coming to here for years. They've provided some simple seat back rests for the canoes in recent years. They aren't the best seat backs but they do make the trip much more comfortable. Especially since you spend so much time looking up at the beautiful rocks and forest. Love the seat backs. Will be back again and again.

Every part of this is top notch! The people are fantastic, energetic and helpful. The boats were great, the scenery was amazing. The guy driving the shuttle patiently waited for our group to show up, and gave us a quick ride back to where we started. Highly recommended for a great day!!

My family always goes with Drifty's when we rent canoes. It's cash rentals, $25/canoe, $30/kayak, tubes (I may have those prices swapped in my mind) and they provide life jackets. You can either park your car and get picked up at the end of your trip, or drop your car at your destination and get brought back to start (extra fee?) Staff is friendly and they'll let you know how long the trip is to each bridge. Canoeing down the Kickapoo is a ton of fun, you can picnic along the way, and dogs are welcome! And there's ice cream nearby.

Decent prices and friendly service. Great scenery. We stopped on a sandy spot for lunch and some swimming. Had a great time for everyone. We did have to wait about 45 minutes to get picked up at the end of the day. We called from the landing and the sent a bus for us right away.

Good, friendly people. Gave us info needed for first time canoeing the river. The negatives, their river map needs to include the distance between pick-up landings. Also, when we got to our landing (#10) and called for shuttle pick up, they had marked our group of 8 people as already picked up.

Fall of 2021, after the business next to Drifty's left me and my group out in the cold on our reservation, we walked to Drifty's.The young man working there at the time went out of his way to help us out and saved a weekend canoeing trip I'd planned for my son, my father-in-law and me.They were even kind enough to let us set up camp on their property, even though that's not a service they provide.Everyone we encountered there was helpful, easy going and professional.Drifty's is running a great operation and I highly recommend them.

Friendly, family run business. I’ve had good experiences with them picking up promptly too. Basic boats made for messing around on the river, not technical use, which is perfect for group floats. Just portapotties on sight, no bathrooms. They will hold your keys for you so you don’t have to worry about them ending up at the bottom of the river.

Bring your own canoe or tube.... only go when the water is higher(within days of a rainfall) and beware of jagged sharp culverts that lurk beneath the surface of the water!

Real simple. Pay cash, get in the water, get a ride back. Or, as we did, pay extra 5 dollars, drive downstream in personal car, they drive you back to the shop, and you float down to your vehicle.Service was simple and not too expensive. All employees were super friendly. Equipment was good.The river is beautiful with it's bluffs, birds, and trees. Also hooked a nice brown trout.We went on a weekday and it was still a bit crowded. I imagine the weekend would be packed.Recommended

We had a reservation with Mr. Duck next door but Mr. Duck decided to take the day off. So we went over to Drifty's and Collin (I think was his name) was happy to take our business and got us right on the river. Very nice guy and very helpful. He even gave a ride to some non-customers who got to the take-out before we arrived because they discovered they'd left car keys at the put-in car.

The people at Drifty's are all so nice. We had never taken our family of 4 + dog on a canoe or been on the Kickapoo River. We had so much fun on our little adventure thanks to them and all they did for us!

Great group of people. I had initially called to reserve 3 canoes and possibly a 2 person kayak. After speaking with the individual it was clear he understood the differences between each and which would provide the best experience on the river (we went with the canoe). Pickup was also great. They take your point that you would like to get out, estimate the time you will get there and have a bus waiting for you to take you back.

I drove us to the bridge and let us drop our canoe off at their spot and leave our car where we ended up. Worked out great. If you want a quiet Kickapoo cruise make sure to go during the week rather than a holiday or weekend.

Just got back from the 3 hour trip 9/12/17 and itvwas fantastic !!! My wife and I did the kayaks and It took us maybe 3:15 but we did a lot of drifting. But the sights are so amazing you cant help but look around. The man workin the desk ( tony ) i believe , i could be wrong , sorry if i am , was friendly and very helpful. When the trip was over he recommend some great fishing spots and an even better place for dinner . All i can really say is I would do it again in a heartbeat ! It rocks !!!!

They were reasonably priced, friendly and laid back. You can pick from several places to get out and be picked up, depending on the amount of time you want to paddle. If you change your mind on where you want to be done while paddling, it's no problem
