This place has been going downhill in the last couple of years. Went to donate but the man in the back was extremely judgemental about my items even before he even looks at them. All my items were gently used. Some close to new. I don't own junk, I don't donate junk. I put everything back in my car and went to Goodwill. I'll support their CEO, at least they know how to run a business and treat their customers. Always pleasant there.

I really like The interaction between The clerks and myself we joke around When I check out. They are all very pleasant . It's a real treat to visit with Sheldon he is so cute. The store is very clean and organized. The Wednesday Senior discount It is very nice.

My wife and I shop at many thrift stores and we have found this to be the best. Very reasonable prices and the store is very well displayed and organized. Restrooms are spotless. Employees are helpful and friendly. Never had a employee help us that had bad attitude, always seem happy there. Great place to buy clothes many other things and know you are helping the local community.

The staff are not welcoming, treated my children and myself in an extremely disrespectful way today.It seems they do not want new customers. Very poor business model to be unwelcoming to people who are new to their store. Thankfully there are 2 other secondhand stores in Rice Lake and were very welcoming toward us. The other stores used common greetings like, “Hi. How are you today,” when we walked in. Simple things like that..I recommend Yours, Mine, and Ours Thrift Shop and Goodwill. Found everything I needed.

They had a great selection of what I went there for which, of course, is not always the case. Not only a great and varied selection, they also happened to be 50% off. The items we're in good condition &/or new.The staff was very friendly and courteous. Handicapped parking and wheelchair accessible store, although it can be a little tight at times.I was very happy with what they had to offer.

Store is clean and stocked with thrift items. A fair amount of money saving deals. Update - I can always find a deal @ this place. If you need something or even if you don't know you need it you're sure to find it here! 😂 <3

My kids beg me to bring them here. We all love the selection and prices are much better than any other thrift store we’ve been to. We go often. I have never had them turn away any donations I wanted to make.

I was at the Rice Lake store this morning. Was forced to leave because I refused to wear a mask!! The mask mandate in WI has been lifted! There’s a reason for that. I left the store and before I left the woman telling me I had to wear a mask or leave said “Soon everyone will be told to wear a mask everywhere again’l how does she k ow this? Or is this just wishful thinking on her part? I won’t be back. I’ll miss shopping at this store as it’s been a favorite of mine for years. I have spent ALOT money at Vinnies and have donated ALOT back to this store over the years. But I will not be back over being forced to comply with such a rediculous mandate by this store. Especially when I see Amish and others walk freely through the store with no hassle. How sad and stupid

It's been oh so many years ago since I shopped or donated here. I enjoyed their old location some twenty+ years ago. Back then they were happy with whatever it is you might donate.I got real tired real quick with their "ultra picky" ways of basically telling you your stuff is of no interest to them... Really ??? Some of the stuff I tried to donate was items my father purchased from them before. I can understand they don't want "trash" and I don't ever deal with it myself, So for this St. Vincent De Paul store to be so "Snobby" when it comes to free donations that MOST ANY area man (or woman) would want is really disheartening.I've found the few times I've shopped there over the recent years that their prices are too much for my taste and to see some "pure junk" items offered I can't help but ask myself "What was wrong with my offerings" ??? They were Clean, Functional & Complete... Yet they still picked through everything telling me what they wanted and what they didn't...Of all the years I've been a donator and shopper at various thrift store locations through out the Midwest, I've never came across a store that appears so good on the outside, but has such "Snobby" "Ungrateful" people on the inside who don't come close to the way they operated 20+ years ago....

Very rude, and gave me wrong change. When I said I gave you$100 they said no you gave us $10. On top of it they made me wear a mask even though I’m vaccinated. I have shopped there for over 10 years, but a I WILL NEVER SHOP THERE AGAIN!

A true thrift store, unlike Goodwill that has too much new merchandise. Always find something- a good book, piano music, a kitchen gadget and latest visit found a great curry brush for my dogs.

Prices are super reasonable much cheaper than other thrift stores . And money spent here goes right back into the local community. Selection is pretty good great staff. They welcome donations.

They are one of the only places in the Rice Lake area that I continue to go to as far as thrift stores go. With their revolving sticker system that orange stickers items today at most it'll be four weeks and it'll be 25 percent off five weeks and it'll be 50 percent off. They feed the homeless or less fortunate people they also are from looking at least from the outside a good place to work part time and they don't have a person that is a Ceo up top that is making a half a million dollars or more depending where the good will is or sometime look up sometime what the directors of Habitat For Humanity makes upwards for each year 50,000 plus well their workers at most get 10 to 11 dollars an hour but at least speaking for Rice Lake wisconsin the only inexpensive place is Saint Vincent DE Paul.

I was appalled yesterday to walk into the store only to find a policeman standing at the door checking to see if I was wearing a mask. What has changed with you?I won't be shopping until the policy changes

This store is definitely hit or miss. The prices can go from fair one week to outrageous the next, even on like items. The restrooms aren't always supplied with toiletry and the staff aren't very friendly.
