Nice friendly staff. Salesman said trailer and paperwork would be ready when I arrived so I could get back on the road for my 2 hour ride home. Most paperwork was ready but trailer was still on the lot and had to wait 20 minutes after signing paperwork to find someone to get it. Got hooked up to the trailer only to find there wasn't a plug. Had to wait another half hour to get that replaced. Service/prep could've been better.

I bought 2 trailers from Pete's 4 years ago for my construction and seamless rain gutter business. BigDog construction and Gutters. My gutter trailer sees almost daily use.I have broken the doors one time, and my lights acted up another, both my fault. Pete's is number 1 when it comes to sales and service! They barely charged me $4.00 one time , and the other time nothing! Now that's service!Mike

Originally had a great experience, bought a trailer and loved it. So much so I called to order two more asking the salesmen to get me two more of the exact same trailer. We got them only to realize they forget to order them with drop axles. They then were impossible to work with, wanted me to pay for the new axles and labor to install. Will not be returning. I get that mistakes can be made but not owning them and taking care of the customer is not good business. Still love the original trailer but will be finding another dealer to purchase this from.

Bought a 18’ pj trailer from this junkyard and after two years the fenders vibrated loose they flop around and not because we banged it all up . The trailer has cheap pressure treated lumber and the fenders are nothing but cheap junk . Never Again will I talk these clowns talk me into a trailer they claim was so great .JUNK TOTAL JUNK !!!!!!

I was forced into buying a trailer with not being able to look at before purchasing. Covid was there reason. I was sent pictures of the trailer, which looked good. I went up and picked it up. Was rushed through paperwork, salesperson never talked to me. It was winter when I picked up and of course there was snow on the trailer. I took trailer home and parked along my shed. This winter when I finally was going to use for the first time, I noticed the roof was severely dented from hail damage, of course they said it was my fault. I recommend anyone who buys a trailer from this scam of a company have there head examined. Pete’s scam is what I call this. I’m currently having a investigator looking into the fact that they have collected hail damage on there lot for this trailer and not disclosing it with me and still charging me full retail plus for a damaged trailer.

Purchased a new Hillsboro flatbed from them for a new truck. Appreciated the straight forward pricing. Not pleased with the wiring job. I was assured 3 times, ordering, arrival & truck drop off they would be using a plug and play adapter to connect flatbed wiring etc to the truck. Instead they chopped the wiring off and made their own connections. No reason I should have been lied too multiple times, and to take on the liability of the wiring splice is asinine given the flatbed manufacturer offers up a plug and play solution.

While looking for a 12 foot utility trailer I called several trailer places that had them in stock but not assembled. No stores offered to assemble one in less than a week. I finally called Pete’s trailer sales and was told they would begin assembling one for me immediately and I could pick up up later the same day. Great customer service and friendly staff, highly recommend!

Everyone seemed nice, and knowledgeable about what they had! I am fairly certain this is where I will buy my trailerI did end up buying a 83x14 pj trailer at petes trailer sales inc. have not used it much yet but the trailer is great and solid! people were great, done and out the door in no time with the extras I wanted took a day! I would assume they get busy at times so this may have been quicker than usual but was a good experience and will buy from them again!

THIS ISSUE HAS BEEN RESOLVED & CUSTOM IS SATISFIED!!After some back & forth with the sales rep and Pete himself. Pete's Trailer Sales changed their stance on the complaint below, and stood behind the trade in offer that their sales rep gave out.I was given $800 on the trade in for my used trailer, and will be picking up a new 83"x12' PJ Utility trailer sometime this coming week.Thank you, Pete & Pete's Trailer Sales, for being a stand up example of a small business and putting your customer's first!I stopped in to Pete's Trailer Sales on Wednesday (11.7.18) to look at trading in a heavy duty 6'x12' steel deck utility trailer for a new 83"x14' PJ utility trailer.I talked to the sales guy, Mark, who came outside to take a look at my trailer for a trade-in assessment. After going over the trailer and doing what seemed like a thorough assessment. He told me I was looking at retail around $1,200-$1,300 and $800-$900 for a trade-in value. So I thanked him for his time, wrote the estimates on his business card, and left to run some numbers.On the following Saturday (11.10.18), after talking to the wife and getting the OK to trade in my trailer for the assessed trade in value that Mark had told me. I hitched up the trailer and went up to buy a new one.I got to Pete's, and had to talk to a different sales guy since Mark was not working that weekend. I let the new guy know about my conversation with Mark from earlier that week. So he came out to look at the trailer, and completely contradicted what Mark had told me just days earlier.I informed the new sales guy of this discrepancy, and he went to get the owner, Pete.Pete and the new sales guy came out to look at the trailer and all of a sudden my trailer was only worth $500 on a trade-in, but they told me to bring my trailer back in on the following Monday.So on Monday (11/12/18), I hitched up my trailer (for a 3rd time!!), went to work, and called Mark @ Pete's Trailer Sales shortly after they opened. He totally agreed that he had given me an $800-$900 trade in value estimate on 11.7.18. However, now there were suddenly other things wrong with my trailer that he hadn't realized during his previous assessment. So he is not able to honor the trade-in price that he had told me only 5 days prior!I asked Mark to take responsibility for the estimates that he gives and to honor the trade-in price that he gave me. If he'd do that, I'd come in over my lunch break to close the deal on a brand new trailer. He responded by literally laughing at me on the phone... Talk about poor business ethics with a side of unprofessional-ism!

Just want to say a big thank you to Ken in sales. He went above and beyond for me. Running out to lot to take photos for me, emailing info and top notch service. I bought my new PJ trailer without seeing it because he was so helpful, live quite far away. It is exactly what I needed to haul my atv and sxs with. I gave him the models, and he looked up specs to figure out which trailer was just right. Thank you to all, and I will definitely recommend your business. I do not recommend the trailer sales in Colfax. They do not want business. Thanks again!!!

I bought a new 20 foot car trailer the trailer is decent but powder coat is awful it sits in shed and is not used in winter so salt is not the problem it is all rust after only 2 years. Now I understand why a friend ordered one bare steel and had someone put a good paint job on it !

After purchasing a used trailer from Pete's, I discovered that the main frame had been re-welded. This was never disclosed and it was listed as being in mint condition. Even though I only had the trailer for two weeks, they would not credit me the full amount towards a new one. I decided to return it and order a brand new one anyway. Upon arrival, I inspected the new trailer and discovered 1) That the axles were not tight up against the frame, 2) Somebody at the factory had sliced through the frame with a plasma cutter, 3) There were 2 large holes torched into the bottom of the frame after the powder coating and not re-painted, 4) The front cross-members were not welded to the frame. I had to bring this to the dealer's attention. I asked for them to return the trailer and re-order another one. I was told that I was the kind of guy that "needed everything to be perfect", and for that reason they no longer wanted my business. The two pieces of equipment that I was dealing with were in very poor condition and Pete's would not stand behind their product, nor would they even attempt to right the situation. If quality is what you are looking for, this is not the place for you.

Absolutely disgusted in not only the quality of equipment they sell but the blatant lieing of their salesman.I brought a PJ trailer back for warranty work to replace lights, broken welds, leaking axel, and faulty wiring. (All these problems within 100 miles)After driving an hour and a half to get there to pick it back up not only the quality of how they replaced everything looked like a monkey did it but they blatantly lied about fixing the wiring. After talking with Keith multiple times stressing that the wiring be fixed seeing as a the entire box on the trailer was snapped off no one even bothered to look at it or care. And after asking if it had all been done and looked over multiple times before coming to pick it up he blatantly lied saying it had.When the replaced lights on the trailer they ruined the rubber grommets that hold them in and now they just fall out. I honestly could not be more disappointed in the poor quality and the lack of caring in how they treat their clients. Would not recommend anyone who wants a quality product to go here!

Purchased a PJ trailer in mid November of last year, waited a month to get it. Drove it home in mid December and did not use it until August. By August it was covered with rust and blistered paint. Pete's blamed me for not washing it when I got home, because they said it was due to road salt. In talking with several people at Pete's I heard that this is not an uncommon problem because the Mexican facility where it was painted did not have a facility to prime the trailer. PJ trailer refused to do anything, and thus Pete's did nothing. Now I have a brand new corroded trailer. Thanks Pete's!

Poor service took my friend there so he could get his trailer fixed. Got there at 9:30 a.m. they said it would take 45 minutes to an hour. Took four hours and 10 minutes that we had to wait. Very poor service. Once you buy a trailer and they have the money it's like they don't want anything to do with you.
