We make a trip to Besseys every couple of months from the UP. The fresh meat and other selections are amazing! The staff are friendly and very helpful and it's nice going somewhere where they remember who we are. You won't be disappointed here!

So happy we found this place after moving up here! Friendly knowledgeable staff! Great selection of meats, fish and cheeses. Prices are excellent for the quality we crave. Huge fans of their bacon! Non of that prepackaged salt bombs... We only get our bacon from Bessey's! They treat every customer as a valued customer, including my Service Dog!

Their meats are always the best and fresh! I have never been let down going there!! If you don't see what you are looking for in the counter...ask. Today I wanted smoked pork chops; I asked and they sliced the thickness I wanted as well as how many I wanted. They are always friendly there!! Stop in! You will not be disappointed!

A 4.9 rating pretty much says it all, but I'd like to add awesome venison processing services! Glenn will use onion powder for natural curing and sanitizes the grinder between each batch. Also great and friendly staff!

Best meat EVER....very friendly, willing to answer your questions. You can call in a order of any size. Best home grown produce. I bought a 13 pound cauliflower from them last year. I just wish they had more in the case because I dont always know what to cook next so i go there looking for inspiration.

Their sausage sticks are fantastic, especially spicy ones. Buy their ground chuck for burgers, have some excellent frozen fish options. Have an Upper Peninsula made bulgogi sauce that is one of the best marinades for meat you will ever buy! It's called Red'z. In a 16 Oz jar. Several flavors. I drive 80 miles just to shop meats here!

My husband is dealing with a red meat allergy and the owners and staff at Bessey's have been so helpful while we learn to navigate the situation. They have an impressive selection of frozen seafood. Their house made chicken bratwurst is delicious and comes in a variety of flavors like mango habanero and spinach feta.

I live in Eau Claire and stop by Bessey’s meat market whenever I am in town to fill my freezer at home. The staff is always friendly and the products they sell are superior to any other meat market I have been to.Thank you Glenn and staff!

Best prices, and a great place to subdue the vegan in you. Nothing says happiness like an affordable oversized steak with some of the best fresh cut bacon in the world. And if you're feeling really sadistic you can get candy Legos as well.

The Pineapple Teriyaki brats are absolutely incredible!! Love the Dill Pickle brats as well. The Bacon Cheeseburgers are great! Great prices on steak. Very friendly staff, and awesome quality products!

A full service, old fashioned butcher shop, Bessey's is a local gem. From hand cut steaks to an expansive line of sausage and brats made in house, you will find what you need for dinner. They also carry bulk spices, select grocery items, and local produce in season. We are truly lucky to have this family run business.

Really great selection of frozen and fresh meats, barbecue sauces, just about a little of everything. They are known for their meats though. I used to shop at the store when it was first open as a mini grocery store back in the 80s. It's nice to see them back in business. BUY LOCAL!

I specifically asked, because it is important to me, where the salmon this store sells originated from. Alaska is what I was told. Apparently the people who work here have NO clue what they are selling.I learned when I got home and inspected my products that the salmon is NOT from Alaska as I had been told. It is from Chile and farm raised to add insult to injury.This was the first and last time I will be in this store.

Grass fed beef less expensive than anywhere in town, awesome steaks, tuna steaks are to die for....cookies are amazing and customer service is always spunky and awesome! We go here at least once a week now!
