Excellent hardware and much more store. Tools to teapots, bird seed to bicycles, guns to garbage cans, candy to camping goods, pet food to pipe fittings. A little bit (some cases a lot) of just about everything

Not sure if I can go in this store again. Was in the pet section and two guys were buying a rat. The poor rat was screaming in a little box that they put him/her in and the rat was trying to get out. The employee ran over to tape the box shut. I’m sorry but if you work in the animal section you should make sure the animal you are selling is in a proper carrier to go in not something that is smaller than a shoe box. This place treats animals so horribly. Not sure how many I’ve seen come into a vet clinic so sick (pretty much on their death bed) this store should stop selling animals. These poor creatures.

Went to help a friend get a battery for bike;Wouldn’t hold charge; went to return and the ptsd hulk hogan look alike guy behind the counter raised his voice claiming it wasn’t the battery that came in the box and it was a acid filled battery; We had to point to him on the box what it read, it was the same name brand battery in new condition that came out the box. I was so shocked by his tone and attitude like the return came out his paycheck. He also wiggled the screws that we put back in the terminals and didn’t keep as those would have something to do with it when he first inspected it.10 more seconds of him raising his voice infront of a child behind the counter for whatever bring you kid to work day ; I was going to grab the same battery’s on their shelf open it and show that boomer it’s the same battery. Very unprofessional on his end ; he could of confirmed this by grabbing a new one and comparing

This place has everything you need for whatever you need to do, period. The staff are all fantastic people and if you have any type of plumbing problem, look for Daniel. That man knows what he's talking about and he's probably the coolest dude I've met in a long time. Thanx for the help, I look forward to coming back to your store

Really impressed by the store's new look and how much they have to offer. Got pretty much everything I needed, from dog food and craft supplies for the kids to a new tire for our mower. Was very happy with the service, helped me find the right tire with no problem. Would definitely recommend shopping here if you like reliable friendly service and better prices.

They will not let you purchase tools on your own. They have a policy to walkit to the front counter with you. Felt like I was not a customer but a thief. After learningthat from having the person get it from a locked up cage I told him to put it back I will just go somewhere more friendly.I have been a fairly frequent shopper browser until a couple weeks back.

Beware: No longer allow returns/exchanges.I bought an outdoor outlet cover and it was the wrong size. I tried to return it in the packaging with a small opening in the plastic wrap and they said I couldn't. I asked why and was told the manager said no. I asked if I could exchange it and was told no. They do have a long list of things on their "no returns" list but outlet covers isn't on it.I've never had an issue with this in the past so this is new policy.

I always come here for there fish. always healthy fish. one time I came they had a sickness but not anymore better than Walmart fish. Have a sporting goods section, Nice hardware store.

The rudest *non-service* experience at Martens! Yep, another Reedsburg Wisconsin business gets only one star! I was shamed and scolded by a young staff woman for using a hand sanitizer at a checkout counter. She actually yanked the bottle out of my hand and yelled at me that the only sanitizer for customers were bottles for purchase. Thing was that the shelves of sanitizer for purchase were empty. Also, unlike other nearby businesses, there were no sanitizer "stations" near the entrance or checkouts. I much prefer Hartje's on Route 58 near LaValle for hardware and paints. They have provided competent, knowledgeable service, which is fortunate, as I will not darken Marten's doorway again.

I love this store being in my own community. The prices are reasonable, they normally have anything I need and the people there are helpful and friendly.Shop locally people or lose these wonderful shopping options. Thank You Martens and Associates.

I bought stain from them already used. I made sure to ask the manager at the front if I didn’t like it, if I could return it and she said yes. Without even opening it I tried to return it and they argued with me saying that it looked like a mess, and they didn’t want to return it. I didn’t even open it, I bought it from them looking like a mess and even ask if it was okay. Also the manager gave me serious attitude.

One of my favorite hardware stores. Has just about everything from pets to power tool rentals. Hard to find a store like this that Stocks such a variety of things! Very helpful, knowledgeable and friendly staff. I highly recommend this store.

Awesome store! One of the few places you are not required to wear a mask 👍 also, the staff are awesome and it's a huge store. Viking foods next door is also amazing for the same reasons 🤗 🤸‍♂️

This store stocks just about anything you need. Always have good luck finding items here that I can't find in the big box stores or other hardware stores. I reccomend this store and like to give them my business so they can keep on doing a good job for us.

On two different occasions, the price rang up significantly higher than what was labeled on the shelf. One item rang over twenty dollars the posted price. I showed the clerk who was extremely rude and gruff about it, to be told they don't know how that happened, but for " today", need to pay what it rings up as. So have taken business elsewhere, mainly due to the way I was treated.

Not sure why they have a match local pricing sign as you walk in. The snooty owner will not match anyone's pricing. Says they cant best they're prices....not Farm and Fleet, Lowes or menards. I told him they should remove the sign for false advertising.

Martens is a larger True Value and has everything you could possibly be looking for, and more. Good helpful staff. Lots if pets and pet products which is an added plus.

They have a great selection and are typically very helpful - as say this based on pre pandemic experiencesBut ...Terrible masking by both customers and staff alike. I was looking for a specific clamp I couldn’t find and couldn’t find A SINGLE MASKED EMPLOYEE to ask for help. I ended up leaving with nothing and driving to Menards in Baraboo.

They have lots of good pet supplies but, I've gone in there three different times looking for a certain pet they said would be in and it wasn't. One almost took 3 months to come in.

The store gets a C grade from me. It is an average hardware store with average employees except for one young lady from upstate new yotk who is educated, friendly and a good conversationalist. She was at the western most cash register.

I love going here. It's like other hardware stores but it's bigger and has about anything you may need and so much more. I'm thankful for this store.
