The owners are very personable and always appreciative of your business. Burmesch has a great selection of cards for any occasion -- the kind of cards you can't find anywhere else! Frozen ice cream treats as well as hand-dipped scoops at the retro ice cream counter. Liquor and beer prices are competitive with fuel stations and grocery stores in the area. Always a great place to pick up quick snacks and beverages before an outing to the Random Lake beach!

A great, longstanding example of a small town, corner five and dime store. They have all of the essentials, as well as a decent liquor selection.Of course, the real draw is the ice cream and soda counter. Hand-dipped cones, shakes and malts... all served with very friendly service.
