My experience here was great! They really care about their puppies and they do so much for them! I took home a cavalier King Charles spaniel and she’s perfect! Petland Racine is in its own category of pet store with so many options and everything is well bred. Adam was great in helping us understand what we needed and how everything would work. Get you a puppy at Petland Racine! You won’t regret it :)

Great options & super expensive. They do offer a $100.00 discount if you schedule a play date, but that's it. No military discount, nothing. Asia was okay a little stretched thin and very distracted with the computer. Several of her colleagues tried to get her for me but.....🤷‍♂️ I had a better experience at Puppy Dreams. That's where I got this bundle of joy and love.

i adopted this beautiful mini aussie from petland in september 2023 (and the pomapoo 2 years ago!). i worked with cassie, she was so sweet and extremely helpful explaining all of the info i needed to know, recommending the best treats and toys for my dogs. i recommend cassie when choosing your puppy! :)

Great experience at this store. Dogs are well cared for. The employees were very knowledgeable about dog care and training. They went over so much detail before we could bring home our new dog. The store appears to be managed very well with great staff.They do a great job at crate, potty, and other habitual training while they stay at the store. This is our 6th dog now in the past 40 yrs. She is adapting to her new home real nice 😀

My experience at Petland Racine was amazing. Spencer and Maddie was very knowledgeable and helpful. Spencer was very thorough with the explanation and dog information while Maddie was very thorough on the purchasing process. Overall, I had a great experience. I want to personally thank Maddie for helping to educate on puppy training and being so professional and friendly the whole time.

I had a great experience here! Staff was super friendly and very helpful. Spencer helped me out and was very informative throughout the whole process. I didn’t feel like I was being just sold things but rather explaining how each item is used and can benefit my pup and it matched research I had done prior. I bought my miniature schnauzer from here and I love her! They even stayed open a little past closing to finish off the sale! Very patient. Will come back if I’m looking for a playmate for my pup

Wonderful pet store! Friendly, patient, knowledgeable staff, and all the pet supplies you could need. They also have many puppies, Guinea pigs, birds, rabbits, ferrets, and fish to choose from. The animals are healthy and well-cared for, and they are up front about where the animals come from. The store is very clean and I couldn’t recommend it enough.We adopted our male cockatiel from Petland 2 years ago, and an 8 week old female Lionhead bunny this past weekend. (Pictured here)

Not sure what idiot would pay the prices they ask for dogs when you can go get an actual full breed of your choice for way way way less. The dogs are kept in tiny little cages and never get to go outside. As far as the people working there its a bunch of kids who have absolutely no clue about what they're talking about. This place should be closed.

Pet land did an amazing job helping us find our family dog. The dog is such an amazing quality, gentle, and great with kids. After looking for a dog so many other places, this was the best fit for our family. Tabitha was very sweet and kind and helped us find exactly what we needed for our sweet puppy. I had one puppy in mind for me. Petland called me early in the morning and let me set up an appointment for right when they opened. Asia took care of me and my new mini golden doodle. She was lovely, helped me get everything I needed, and made sure I was aware of any discounts available. When going through paperwork she was very thorough and made sure I understood everything. Overall a wonderful experience!

Considering all the effort it takes to manage a store full of the most adorable puppies ever!!! 😲 it's a priceless experience each time I go cause it's a lifetime commitment, and it's wonderful you get to sit in a cubicle and see what personality suits the buyer. It’s sad a place like this is allowed to be able to be in a business. I took my daughter to look at puppies and not only were the puppies abused, the staff is uneducated. I was told one breed was a long haired huskie, when it is a Pomeranian and husky mix. The poor little girl had a coat saturated with urine all over front of her body. I do have photos of puppies my daughter and I played with. It is disgusting that this happens. Woke me up from sleep.2nd dog we looked at was an Australian Shepherd. I am almost positive something is going on with his eyes. They are trapped in these little plastic cells with 2 other dogs. No one takes care of them after 6 pm.3rd was a Goldem Retriever, a little girl. Her belly was so distended. She is the most held and handled. Her Belly was so distended which indicates a bacterial or parasite infection. My little one said to me.. mom I want a dog like this, but not this one.. sad. A little child has more common sense than this owner.I wish I could save all these abused animals from this hostel of an establishment.

My husband & I went in, looking for a female French Bulldog, & we were so unbelievably lucky, they had ONE left!! We got to meet with her & get to know her a little bit & with the help of our AMAZING store associate, Maddie, we took her home!!! All around great service & service!!

Stopped in to see a purebred Rottweiler puppy last week. The puppy was adorable however really over priced. Requested more information about the parents and AKC certification be emailed and never received it. However I was reminded several times of the financing available I could get should I want the dog despite me saying several times I don't need financing. They seem more interested in financing a pet like it's a car than they do finding good homes for the animals and selling them at reasonable prices.

Overpriced!! Purchased my puppy here last week. They upsell everything & both warranties come with nearly impossible contingencies. My puppy that should have been 3k ended up costing $8,000 (not financed). Their Puppy for a Lifetime program only says we get a 7k (store credit) if anything happens to the pup but again major contingencies include buying vitamins, supplements, probiotics AND dog food every 3months from their store, meaning they will get their money back in sales, and all becomes null/void if u miss one of those items or quarterly visits to their store. Everything included in price of the dog (food, training items & cage) was taken out in the store credit; I paid $7500 plus tax but will only receive 7k credit if anything happens to my puppy. My puppy came wit undescended testicles; was told I would have to pay the price of neutering if they don't descent, again, also not covered in their 90day health warranty even though it was diagnosed prior to the purchase. Contingencies addendums & more contingencies only to benefit them & not the customer. No sales, no refunds. It's sad since we did buy the puppy as an impulse buy because our kids wouldn't let him go, but honestly not a great overall experience & too many misadvised, diluted promises. They are definitely trained not to mention prices or any of these things until the tail end of the sale & walk u around the entire store to purchase addt'l overpriced items you can easily get on amazon or walmart for a third of the price before you leave with the puppy. Wish I did more research. I can just see the money adding up on this one. Sorry to leave a negative review, but I must be honest with my experience.

Very nice place! We found an amazing puppy and visited her twice, sadly we could not get it due to it being very expensive. Pretty sure it was 5,600 dollars not sure if that pup is sill there but if not I hope she found an amazing family because this puppy was so sweet.

Natalie, Asia & Alyssa are absolutely exceptional. My life was forever changed for the better when I met our puppy at Petland. She was a 8 week old Pomsky, we named her Flaire. Yes, she cost a pretty penny. But you get exactly what you want! Plus everything you need is included in the puppies price.

Too overpriced! The Maltese (male) puppy that we were looking at was more than 5 months old. They quoted a price of over $3,000 with all of the add on stuff that was "free" (kennel cage, toys, food, treats, etc.). My husband offered $1,200 and told them we didn't need the "free" stuff shot, vet check and microchipping). And that he was a little older than what we thought for that price. They said when he first got there months ago he was priced at $6,000. WOW!!! To much for this working class family. It's a sad world when people have to finance pets.When we returned home I started Googling Maltese puppies. I found a pet store called Pocket Puppies at the Pleasant Prairie Outlet Mall. My husband called them and asked if they had any Maltese puppies we didn't care about gender. They had an AKC male Maltese puppy that was a little over 4 months old he's the cutest little puppy. Their price was $795 and included a take home bag with puppy food and treats. They also covered the cost of the shots, vet check, microchip and registration for it.We took him to the vet the next day and they said he was 5.7 lbs. and very healthy. We have sent in his AKC papers and named him Ziggy Stardust.My suggestion to anyone looking for a small breed pet is to go to Pocket Puppies first or try looking for private breeders online in your area.

I will start by staff was friendly and fairly knowledgeable. That being said the general quality of the puppy I bought was very poor. I saw a picture of her online and fell in love I felt so bad for her being stuck there, otherwise I would have NEVER supported this place. She is now 2 years old, Dogue de bordeaux (French Mastiff). She had a host of health problems. Skin issues that need vet care every few months. She is prone to cherry eye, which is genetic, and she is extremely small for her breed. I called petland and demanded to know her breeder information. They did give it to me and upon research, the breeder was cited numerous times for running puppy mills out of MIssouri. So petland indirectly does obtain their puppies via mills, even though it is denied. I will love my dog, she is my family,, but never never again will I support this awful place.*Edit to my post: Our poor fur baby from here (dogue de bordeaux) passed away March 31st at the age of 7. She had life long health issues we did our best to take care of. She was extremely small for a mastiff, at the most she weighed in at 60 pounds and extremely short legs. The vet agreed there were genetic abnormalities. We loved her dearly and spoiled her every chance we could. In short we paid almost 5k for a puppy mill dog, and yes she was from a puppy mill. I have her breeder paper work, with life long health problems and passed away at the young age of 7.

You come in and let them have your ID, and then you can play with puppies! FOR FREE! I loved it so much. I loved the birds I loved the ferrets and I loved the big tortoise that lives there. It's a really cool store, and I think there should be many more like it.
