This is a great little pet shop. They have several different types of animals. Some of which I have never seen before, such as a Ghost Praying Mantis. They also have really big rats. From what I understand they actually make great pets. Sort of like a mini dog. You can even teach them tricks and cuddle with them! I don't think that I've seen rats like that in any other pet store. They also have really great prices. They also offer services like nail trims and grooming, but only for dogs, I think. I could be wrong though. I'd definitely check them out for both pets and pet needs.

I have a big fish tank decided after months to put some more fish in my tank went there and bought some fish and I bought some out of a tank that had donated fish Well the donated fish put a nice parasite in my tank He refunded me for the fish I had bought at the time no refund for any of the fish that it killed even though I brought them all in with me then after that I had fish dying still and he was blaming my tank for it saying that I have an issue with my tank but it's funny I have so many other fish in my tank that were still alive Even some of the kind that I bought from ttem that died And they're still alive for this day but it's always my tank water or something that's a problem never anything with his tank that only has that one fish variety in it. Right now out of all the fish I think I bought for him which were over 50 I might have 10 that lived amongst all the other fish I bought from other places that are still alive

It's been over a year since my previous visit. My 6lb wingman needed his nails done before traveling to family functions. They got him in quickly once I called. Catlin groomed him up for 10 pesos (trust me, very good price since he hates having his feet messed with)A very good store with great dog treats too like doggie weed when traveling to calm him down when we fly (in a plane).

Great place to support local business. Offers variety of options for all animals.Only disappointment would be the grooming services. They’re groomers are great and friendly but I’ve made numerous specific grooming requests that were not done; nothing excessive or that can harm my large fluffy dog, but regardless they were avoided. As long as it’s safe for the animal; less yappin and more happnen!!!

I take my large breed dog to Havahart for nail trims and grooming.I ADORE them! Not everyone is comfortable with large breed dogs (French Mastiff 140 lbs) but they have been consistently excellent with my current dog and my previous dog.They even come out and get on the floor with him to cut and dremel his nails. My dog is comfortable here and does very well with everyone here. The prices are very reasonable as well. I'm truly grateful to have found them!!

We stopped by to get some treats to help our dog who needs to mellow out around 4th of July. She had a good holiday this year with the treats.We were also able to get in and get our pup to get groomed. This will be our first time with this new groomer.

Great selection of dog treats, and I love browsing their reptile selection (although with one cat, a dog, and two lizards at home I am not in the market for more pets).If I had to take them to task on one thing, it's that they do not carry the larger bag of cat pill pockets.

Staff is always friendly and knowledgeable. 48 hour guarantee on their fish, which is nice. They carry many brands of pet food and can special order many others if requested. Small but nice selection of reptiles and small mamals as well.

I was here in the store for about 40min trying to buy fish and fish products. NOT 1 time was I even acknowledge. So i went to the desk to get help. The cashier redirected me to the manager.. and as i was speaking to here about to type of fish I wanted she walked away in mid conversation. after getting her attention again.. she answered one of my questions about a product that they don’t have, and went back to being “busy” after the wonderful customer service I received, I decided to go to pet-land.. and im sooooo glad i did. Petland aquatics were much more taken care of, they were more willing to help; & not only did they help me get what i was looking for, they gave me great advice, and was extremely knowledgeable. Save yourself the time and headache… go down the road to petland

World class independent pet shop. I go here for anything aquarium relayed because they have the healthiest and best variety of fish I've ever seen in a store and you can pet rabbits as a bonus.

If you are keen on beta fish and seeing a tank with other fish swimming alongside them then this is the store for you (AND your family)! My daughter and I stopped in yesterday just looking for a snail and some aquatic plants and after seeing the plethora of species cohabitating we bought some shrimp as well. Best store in Racine for fish and more!

Much better than Petland for food and care products. Very cool atmosphere with large variety of pet goods from fish to dogs. Plenty of food and snack options for my pet rabbit.They do have a rewards system for free food and stuff after X amount of purchases.Efficient and friendly staff.MASSIVE pothole in parking lot.***pothole fixed***

What a hidden jem! Super clean, spacious, organized, and pleasant. Pinned down an employee to ask about a serious situation with my 3 doggos' diet. Got really good insight and info that even though I am an experienced dog owner, I was not aware of! Took Lisa's advice and it worked well with my dogs. Turns out? She's the OWNER! Wow, humble, knowledgeable, and so very helpful. Please, go visit Havahart and help Lisa's (& team) hard work pay off. Its on 20, right next to Jose's Blue Sombrero (they share the west parking lot!). You will be pleasantly surprised!

I had a horrible experience with Havahart. My Yorkie was usually cut by Misty. Misty left Havahart. When I came to pick my dog up he no longer looked like a Yorkie. His face was cut very low. Whereas, the rest of his body hair was very long. It was a mess.I called immediately and spoke with store owner. I brought dog back in so store owner could she how bad the grooming cut was.Then to add insult to the bad service the manager of the pet grooming area was very unprofessional and wanted to argue about the bad cut. I took pictures of his haircut and the owner of the store refunded $47 of the $57 that I was charged. Please Don't waste your money.

One of the best pet stores around! Have special foods, supplements, and other various items for my dogs and rabbit that I have only found with them! Have a lot of good quality pet treats and food as well, which many other stores don’t carry.The hamsters that I have purchased from here were always healthy and lived for much longer than the one I had purchased from Petco. The fish purchased from here were also in good health, which is surprising for a pet store. My rabbit was also purchased from here (4 years ago) from a reasonable price and has never had any health issues arise. (All of my animals however have been fed quality diets with additional supplements and proper care, no matter if the animals are in good health when you purchase them improper care and feeding leads to many negative side effects.)My only issues would be the selling of enclosures that are too small or improper for specific animal species such as hamster cages and fish tanks. This is disappointing considering they seem to value pets health and well-being. Also that certain foods that are marketed towards rabbits contain seeds which are not good for their digestion.That being said please research a pets needs before purchasing an animal to be able to give it the best quality of life it deserves!!

Best locally owned pet store I’ve ever had the pleasure of going to! It doesn’t bother me about the mask thing I mean if your vaccinated you should be fine 🙄. I never have to wait but I’m also not lazy and just stand around waiting for someone (they are constantly busy). Closed mouths don’t get fed. They have great quality fish rarely does one die. Also I saw a review about axolotls and the setups they are in are just meant to house them momentarily until they go to a new home. I also saw them and they were extremely healthy and happy.

Over the years different people come and go. I've had people sell me fish and a tank that are completely inappropriate (when I didn't know any better) and then you have people that seem really educated about fish. I have never bought any small mammals or reptiles from them, so I can't speak to that. The selection they offer for dogs and cats is awesome. Birds... Not so much. Severely lacking in that department. Overall, I enjoy my trips there.

Love this store. I got my bunny from here and he is now 1 year old! They cut his nails for the first time and did great. I’m going to schedule a nail trim here soon so hopefully I have a great experience again. They have a very good variety of rabbit toys and treats and carry Oxbox, but a lot of stuff is not in stock when I go

very knowledgeable about their products, especially the top line dog food we purchased. Excellent pricing compared to all other online sellers. We need to drive over an hour each way to go to this store, and we do because the care and quality is worth the drive!
