Jean and her team at Ptacek's Floral Department did an amazing job for my wedding in August - affordable, friendly and super easy to talk to and collaborate with along the way. We did my bouquet, 5 bridesmaids and bud vases for our table settings. Pricing was very reasonable for the amount of larger flowers we ordered!

I don’t live in the area anymore but I still love the store and stop when I’m in Prescott. I placed an order through the deli for food for my mom‘s 90th birthday. Everything was wonderful, reasonably priced and it was delivered and loaded into my car for me. Great quality and service and such a welcoming environment.

Ptacek’s catered our wedding at hidden meadows in Pepin, WI and everything was amazing. The food was great and our strawberry wedding cake was a huge hit. We highly recommend for any catering - we are so happy we chose them for our special day.

I don’t really go there for the freshness or the prices of the merchandise, although they are not bad. Honestly never been through this store without someone making me smile. Their customer service is incredible. Today I was in there and my bagger and cashier were so funny and uplifting. Which I needed as my mom was nearing the end of her battle with cancer. I promise this is a real review. This is a great store.

I cannot say enough good about this store. I stopped on a morning adventure to grab a couple things. Decided to head over to the meat department and met Pat Ptacek. Not only did he show me around and make recommendations, he was happy to let me try a few samples and invited me to return to the store. To me, this is above and beyond. I'm so impressed with how friendly the staff was and cannot wait to return. If you need a local business to support, this is one that is doing right in their community!

I have always had a great experience with this store until today, which is why I didn't give it a 1 star review. I have diet restrictions because I will get sick if I eat certain foods, not an allergic reaction, but still very unpleasant, so I am always reading the labels to know what is in my food. We purchased the Cherry Shortbread bars from the bakery, and nowhere on the label does it mention nuts. I started cutting it and noticed there are nuts in this. I never would have purchased this if the label showed nuts in it because I can not eat nuts. I called to tell them this, and the bakery person said yes, she knows there are nuts in it, and she will fix the label. It felt like she was trying to rush me off the phone and didn't seem too concerned about it. Pretty big mistake, and I wasn't impressed with how it was handled.

Ptacek's is a wonderful multi generational family owned grocery store. They excel in all areas thanks to their enthusiasm, tight knit family, and great employees. The deli area is varied but excellent and we'll priced. Their meat department is as good as any straight up butcher and they work to get affordable items for their client base and make to.order anything they can. The liquor department is huge and has great options from minis to wine and everything in between. Their floral and gift area has many helpful options when you need a quick gift and amazing local candles. The employees are always helpful and go above and beyond. The management does a job great with retaining employees, organization, and marketing.

What a gem we have right here in Prescott! Ptacek’s IGA is my go to grocery store. Where else can you get such amazing brats, bakery goods and beer all in one store!!! They serve delicious entrees and salads in their deli. Friday fish fry can’t be beat. And grill night... they do all the work and you enjoy the food. Yummy baked goods like elephant ears and maple bacon glazed cinnamon rolls. The meat department is full serve. They carry prime pork that is tender, juicy and delicious. The brats come in many great flavors as do the beef sticks and summer sausage. And I cannot forget to mention their own double smoked hams. Makes holidays even more special. The liquor department has selections of beer, wine and spirits to rival any free standing liquor store. Don’t see what you are looking for, just talk to one of the Ptacek’s and they will get it for you. And best of all you can sip on a Caribou Coffee as you shop or grab one in their drive through. They have a gas station and offer fuel rewards to grocery shoppers.

The BEST grocery store! The employees are always extremely helpful and friendly. The store is impeccably clean, they have the best variety - and I’m always so surprised they have my favorite items that are really unique! The gift shop is fun, the floral shop has gorgeous creations, with the coffee shop & liquor store all in one . . I really can’t say enough about how much I enjoy shopping here! One stop shop!

My favorite grocery store - everything in the deli is absolutely delicious and I appreciate the convenience of having the liquor store right there. Not to mention that they push your cart out and load your groceries into your vehicle too!We buy our meat exclusively here and stock up at every meat sale. Also, the employees are always friendly, it doesn’t get much better than that - oh wait...they also have a kick butt playground that my kids love!Thanks Ptacek family, you truly make going to the grocery store a fun outing! 👍🏼👍🏼

If I could give the catering here 10 stars, I would. We had them cater our wedding recently. The food was absolutely amazing. I can't even count how many compliments we got from guests about how delicious the food was and how much food there was. Also, the service was wonderful. Katie and all the other servers were so helpful and made sure the head table and all the other guests were happy. They carried my plate and drink for me, so I would not spill on my dress, and they checked on us multiple times to make sure we didn't need anything. Katie also cut the cake for us, and made sure to save the top for us to enjoy. I cannot express enough how wonderful our experience was. I would highly recommend them!

My daughter recently got married and Ptacek's handled the catering, all of the flowers and the beer and wine. EVERY guest raved about how amazing the food tasted. Katie, the deli manager, wasvery professional and available for questions (which I had a lot of). The flowers were beautiful.I very highly recommend Ptacek's for all of your catering, floral and liquor needs! You will be pleased at your decision!

Just dropped in here today and had a wonderful experience. I was checking out the whiskey selection when one of the workers restocking the liquor started chatting with me. They go above and beyond for service! Love shopping here! I spend my summers in Prescott and enjoy shopping at Pateks! A large selection of choices for a small town. Great prices on Wine and Liquor too. Best beef sticks and summer sausages! The deli has been a great help in having everything ready to go when I need to entertain. Best Potato salad!

Ptacek's catered my wedding and did a FANTASTIC job! The food was outstanding and all of my guests couldn't stop talking about how good it was. They kept everything hot and fresh. It tasted like homecooked food, not frozen. They were so affordable and easy to work with. Would definitely recommend!

Ptacek's is a high-quality, community-orientated grocery. They work hard to have lots of variety, but also maintain a friendly, customer-focused business. It is one of the iconic places that makes Prescott a great place to live. Love their beef sticks (lots of choices), as well as the deli and bakery.

Weirdest shopping experience. I never shop here but was driving home from the casino and decided to stop for groceries. Sunday Afternoon and no one was in the store. Deli looked pretty much shut down. Employees were yelling back and forth to each other like the store was closed. Produce selection was the worst. Walmart certainly has better and more plentiful produce. Prices were crazy expensive....I normal shop at County Market in Hudson which I think is expensive...but no...this place is much higher. Good deal on shredded cheese they said...nope $4.39 for a bag I can get anywhere else for $2.29. The only thing that was as cheap as other stores was Greek yogurt $1 each. At check out (only one checkout person on a Sunday afternoon) they bag your groceries...."plastic okay" she asks..."well yeah I guess now that you bagged most of it in plastic bags". "Help you with your cart out to the car" he asks..."no thanks" I say....he follows me out to my car, watches me put my groceries in it and takes my cart. Okay its Covid time...less people touching my groceries and hanging out with me the better. I appreciate the full service provided (well actually I don't) but unless you are 85 years old or incapable of doing the most basic of things, no need to spend money on it by buying expensive groceries that pay for those services. Last time I was there was at xmas time....for the beef sticks...gifts...so unless you are going for that item...skip it. Oh and I forgot....that same visit at xmas...the liquor sales guy said there was a shortage of egg nog (the alcoholic kind) and he didn't have any in stock....found it at my liquor store in Hudson...so I guess that shortage was only in Prescott.

Burger night is great. Who can beat their good tasting bacon cheeseburger with all the fixings at this inexpensive price? Date night can be affordable. We pick up pastries for the next morning.

Prices are way to high and there is expired foods and drinks on the shelves quite often. The staff is fairly friendly well most of them. I definitely feel like most of the customers and staff are quite judgmental, prejudiced and even racist. I would honestly be quite concerned how someone would handle being in Ptaceks if someone other than white came into the store. This store definitely needs more diversity.

For a small town grocery store you'd be amazed at the selection and quality they have. Staff is kind, helpful and always cleaning. No need to drive to River Falls, Hudson, or Woodbury to find what we need 95% of the time!
