The last experience I had wasn't so great, terrible actually.But it wasn't the staff or anything, they actually made it the best it could have possibly been given the circumstances.I had to put my 15 year old doggo Noka down.He started having seizures out of nowhere, his old age had finally caught up to him.The vet and the vet techs were all amazing, I felt like they were actually sincere and 100% cared.I can't thank you all enough for trying everything you could, and not just giving up on my boy right off the bat.We ended up having Noka cremated.My mom and I picked him up a week ago.We did not anticipate for it to be as hard and as emotional as it was since with our first 2 fur babies we just buried them.As we were standing there waiting for the receptionist to bring us our boy, I could feel that I was about to cry..I tried holding it back but as soon as she handed me Noka, the tears started falling and literally couldn't say anything and had to walk out the door..So to the receptionist, I'm so sorry I didn't say anything.I have felt terribly rude.My mom has reassured me you'd understand and I'm sure you do but I just wanted to apologize, and also say thank you so much💙🖤💙Will definitely be returning and 1000% recommend this place to anybody looking for a vet.Again thank you all so much, I appreciate you more than you know💙💙💙

This vet clinic has gone above and beyond with their customer service and helped me in a last minute emergency with not only one but two of my pets! The entire staff is so friendly and inviting and they managed to squeeze me in and help me when I was desperate when none of the other vets in the area seemed to really care. Dr Megan and team are fantastic! She is dedicated, knowledgeable, trustworthy, professional, and kind. Our dog is a very anxious Goldendoodle and Megan does so well with him. Shamrock Pet Resort provides the best attention and loving care to my dog. The staff are so friendly and sincere they are amazing. Equally amazing is the Groomer Christine. She did such an amazing groom on our Australian Shepherd this week that we thought we were taking home an entirely new dog! Her work was precise and again with lots of love.

Chose a new vet for our Maltipoo based on our daughter's recommendation. She is very happy with this vet service since moving to the Lake Wisconsin area a couple of years ago, so now we've changed our pet's care also. So far, so good I'm happy to say!!

Wonderful care for my buddy! I asked for special handling instructions and they followed my request to a "T!" Camera in the spa was wonderful as it relieved my concerns by being able to check on her. Great staff!!!

I came here today with my teddy bear hamster Gizmo, I was so nervous taking him to the vet & was worried about so many things. However as soon as I walked in the whole place was so welcoming & inviting. I was already feeling relieved Gizmo got to meet Dr. Chad & I feel like I missed the young girls name who weighed my little Gizmo but both of them were so kind & understanding. They explained everything perfectly and knew how I felt about my little boy. The price for his visit was much less than I expected. Overall I'm just very grateful to the team here at the hospital and for taking away all my nerves and taking great care of Gizmo :)

First off, I just want to say that the people working here are friendly and most services were quality, and this review is not personal.That being said, our most recent experience was pure chaos. When we picked our dogs up from boarding, we were billed for fecal tests despite the resort not having a record of actually having collected or run any tests. The lady doing the billing didn't inform us until after we had paid (understandable, she looked pretty young), and didn't know how to issue a refund, so informed us we would need to call back the next day. We did so, and the resort refunded the tests without any issue. However, we then received a call the day after that saying that there actually had been a test conducted, and that we now owed a balance and needed to call to pay AGAIN. We were also informed that in the future, we would be billed for fecal tests, regardless of whether they were conducted or not.Not only was this lack of organization frustrating, but the fact that their policy is to charge you for fecal tests REGARDLESS OF WHETHER THEY'RE CONDUCTED OR NOT was also extremely frustrating. If the fecal test requirement exists to protect all animals at the shelter, then it should be a prerequisite for getting a boarding appointment, instead of something that's slapped on at the last moment.All though the quality of most services were fine, we likely won't be returning nor recommending because of this experience.

My pup woke me up at 2am and again at 4am to go outside and poop. I new something was wrong because he has never woke me up before. Sauk Prairie showed me concern and squeezed me in without an apt. The gave me special food to treat him and I was so grateful.They show respect for your issue and help you. I recommend this Vet office to any pet owner. We love our pets and they do too!

The website for the pet resort states that the daily fee for 1 dog is 2 dollars, and 1 dollar for each additional dog. I drove 30 minutes out of my way to find a sign on the dog park that says they no longer sell daily passes, and it's 15 dollars a month. The person I talked to on the phone was extremely rude, said that wasn't her problem, and didn't offer any type of apology or concern in any way. Hope they treat animals better than people.

Had a great experience at Sauk Prairie Small Animal Hospital. Staff was friendly, welcoming and patient with my boisterous young yellow lab. I was very impressed with Dr. Abby’s professionalism and thoroughness of exam. She also took the time to explain findings of our lab results, talk through the treatment and answer all of my questions.

Dr. Chad is absolutely incredible. My dwarf hamster Leroy got an infection that grew a big lump on his face right on time with a massive blizzard. I called 6 different clinics and the only one willing to help me was this clinic. They got him in within that week no extra fees or anything else that the other clinics tried putting on me. We were really late but warmly greeted the second we walked in and my tiny hamster was treated with the utmost care and importance. Within minutes Dr. Chad was able to help Leroy despite his biting, squeaking, and even spraying nasty pus all over. Literally could not have been more pleased and Dr Chad even gave me another prescription after Leroy dumped his over being feisty. 10/10 recommend and the vet tech was also absolutely wonderful easing my anxiety about the whole thing and teaching me about hamsters even more.

I'm so thankful for them being able to get my dog in to be seen same day by fitting her in between other appointments when she had a hurt paw! That was my first time taking her to a vet in the Sauk City area, and they were the only ones I called that had comparable pricing to my vet further north, and they were so accommodating! Dr Megan was so nice to talk with about my dog's issue, she explained everything really clearly and took time to answer all my questions, and her paw was diagnosed well and is now healing up quickly! All the staff I interacted with seemed very caring. I definitely trust them going forward as my vet in this area and would highly recommend!

Called in because my guinea pig had a cough, possible URI, they were able to get me in the next day. Found out that my piggie needed eye drops instead. They had the medicine on hand, which made things so convenient for me. Very knowledgeable about guinea care and discussed what to look for. Dr. Chad always asks at the end of the appt if I have any questions and really listens to concerns about my piggies. Great staff who knows piggies, and preps Dr before he gets to the room.
