Took my diabetic kitty here for a second opinion and some additional tests. The receptionist was very pleasant and I was led to a room right away. After a little wait, the doctor came in and was very personable. She was very informed of the situation and conditions and explained it fully to me. We did some tests and found she is normal for these tests. We are going to do more tests and try to find some relief for my sweet kitty. I'm hoping the care continues.

Our dog was very sick, we called everywhere for Emergency Services, and not one had any availability. Even though Poynette Veterinary was fully booked they made time to care for our dog. The staff was very professional and they took the time to explain the medication and procedures. Without their amazing support I don’t think our pup would be here today. Thank you so much for all that you do!

A huge thank you to Dr. Yelk and the rest of the staff at the Poynette Vet! They were able to help when no one else could. They stayed after hours to get my sister’s dog in for emergency surgery and saved her life. We are all so incredibly grateful!

Highly Recommend! originally came to Poynette Vet on a recommendation from a friend. i Was looking to find out what was wrong with one of my older cats. He had jumped and his back end was hurt. Took him to our regular vet, and they wouldn't/couldn't tell what was wrong. Wouldn't do a x-ray. During our visit to Poynette Vet the first thing they did was an x-ray - found that the cat has arthritis, and gave him a joint supplement that is like glucosamine for humans. After working with Poynette Vet, he was able to jump again. Pricing is much more affordable than our previous vet. The doctors work very hard and on multiple occasions we have received calls hours after they closed, to update us on lab results with advise/choices on how to proceed.Would give them 10 stars if I could

I'm grateful for the excellent care that Blue, an epileptic GSD x Malinios, received at Poynette Veterinary Care. Blue suffered a suspected bowel obstruction and they found time to see him immediately. Everyone was kind and professional. The facility is pleasant, up to date and run efficiently. Highly recommended.

This was the 11th vet or pet hospital I called and the only one that could see kitty that afternoon on an emergency basis.Great staff, reasonable prices, more than willing to drive from home in the Dells to bring kitty here. They love her and had her better as quickly as possible!

Dr. Yelk is beyond amazing along with all of this clinic’s office staff. They have cared for my kitties and my 10 month old golden retriever with compassion and thoroughness each visit. They accommodate to financial situations and I strongly feel that they have the pet and owners best interest when determining a treatment plan. I am very thankful to have this accessible clinic in town and their willingness to schedule urgent/ non urgent appointments. The receptionist, Bonnie , has excellent customer service and I have had an all around pleasant experience.

I will never go to a different vet! Dr. Yelk is amazing and the staff are wonderful, we went through quite the rough patch last year and they have gone above and beyond in every way for me and my beloved fur baby. I HIGHLY recommend using Poynette Vet, they treat you like family and truly care. I have used many vets for my horses and dog throughout the years and Poynette is my favorite!Brewser wants to thank you for helping him and making sure that he can still keep up with his mom on all of her adventures!! :):)

Toni was great and super nice! She made us feel a lot better while my dog Marnie was having surgery. Normally I get very stressed out dealing with the vet but she made everything a lot easier to deal with.

Not even worth 1 star. Place has gone 100% down hill since Dr. Ron left. Never once had an issue while seeing him and consistently have had problems ever since. No one there seems to know what they are doing and what is going on. Last year drew blood on my dog then told me AFTER I told them he wasn't fasting and they drew the blood anyway that because he wasn't fasting they would need to charge me for that lab draw and come back and redraw and charge me again for that. Went round and round and multiple calls with the owner to finally get that resolved. Called for visit this year and was told again my dog did not need to be fasting for his thyroid test even though last year they tried charging me for 2 labs because he wasnt. Decided to go somewhere with COMPETENT people working at it. New vet reached out multiple times requesting our records with no response. Called poynette and was told "we have nothing on file that they requested anything" - new vet said they deal with this issue with Poynette multiple times a day. Spent the entire day going back and forth as they refused to send my pets vet records to their new vet without "doctor approval". Currently waiting on hold for over 15 minutes as they have continued to ignore my request all day for the records to be sent. I called this AM asking for them to be sent and called back at 3:30 PM as they still were not sent and was told "what time did you ask for them to be sent, we have nothing in his file" Asked to pick them up myself and was told i would have to pay for them. Don't waste your time or money going to this clinic. Terrible care and like I said, no one there knows what they are doing or clearly care to share records so the new vet knows what is going on. Would NEVER recommend this vet to anyone I know or care about. If you care about your pets find elsewhere.

Well, after working at this clinic for a little over a year I can honestly say that this is the WORST clinic I have ever been to. Since Dr. Ron has left, Employees are treated like trash by the main vet and her husband, and clients are talked about behind their backs. I have personally heard the main vet, Dr. Yelk talk about not only employees but clients as well in the worst manner. Please for the sake of your pets and yourself. Take your business elsewhere.

They fit my baby Lacee in on not one but two emergencies. They also sent a signed card by the staff when my other baby who they only met once passed away. Great practice and awesome customer service and compassion.

Super friendly staff! I talked to Bonnie on the phone desperately searching for a vet due to my cat swallowing a sewing needle and not eating or drinking. This was at least the 5th or 6th vet i called and they all were referring me to Madison or someplace farther from me. But I called this vet and Bonnie was super nice! They got my cat Tigga in the next morning and held her for observation. They called and updated me after everything: X-ray, surgery and let me know how she was doing. Super friendly receptionists! Thank you poynette vet! Tigga is doing great!

Poynette Veterinary is definitely a place to take your pets. The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable. Took my GSD in for ear infection he is 100% better. Won't go anywhere else

This place was nice due to it being close but the difference in the bill from here or going to lodi was insane! At these prices I'd take my dogs to green bay need be. Other then that the staff was excellent with both our dogs. Did NOT like the main vet one bit i cant rememberhis name sadly. He came off as super arrogant and we had words in his lobby over a bill in front of other customers (unprofessional in my mind) but the super cute blonde receptionist almost makes us want to take our dogs back just to see her haha

Very expensive. Thought it was strange that we didn't go back for the appointment with our dog and were left in the waiting area. (I was assisting a person who I work for and her dog).The prices of anything done is ridiculous. The owner is hoping to find a more affordable vet service in the future.Also, we didn't appreciate that the vet tech didn't tell us prices of services assuming the owner would just pay whatever they suggested be done with tests and such. I suppose we should have also asked prior to anything being done, but didn't realize just how costly a simple blood or urine sample would be, shots, and an exam.We had taken her dog in for an annual checkup and shots.We had an appointment and waited 25 minutes past our time in the waiting area and then our dog was with the vet tech for the physical for less than 10 minutes. The entire visit didn't feel comfortable to me or the dog owner I was assisting. She mentioned wanting to find a different place to take the dog in the future.The staff were pleasant enough and did help with the dog when we asked.

Went to Dr Frabrizius for 16 years and were turned off by the new vets attitude toward money. Checked our credit in great detail tho we always paid our bill. If they want to allienate a long term customer with seven dogs I guess that's thier business.

Excellent trusted care. Everyone is so friendly and professional. They go out of their way to accommodate you. Whenever I have taken my dog (sweet Black Lab girl) there for an injury or concern they have always called the next day to check up on her.

We have been going to see Dr Ron for years with our beagle. She has been well taken care of and we would want nothing less for our four-legged family member.We are always seen promptly and able to be seen the same day when our dog is sick.I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this vet clinic to anyone that cares about their pet.

Great vet. Been taking care of my dog for a few years now thru lymes disease and a severed tendon and hes very happy to go back each time. Techs genuinely love their jobs and seeing your pets and they are very good about telling you whats most important and what its all gonna cost.

I have only had wonderful experiences with the staff at Poynette vet. Dr. Yelk has been a blessing to our family. Our dog, Duke, had an injury to his leg that is not very common and it was a procedure that Dr. Yelk had never performed before. She offered to do the surgery and she did absolutely amazing at it. His leg is still going strong after a few years. Our dog is very shy and Dr. Yelk is very patient with Duke. I am thankful to have such a wonderful care team on our side. I also love how they call and check up on us after our visits, it makes us feel cared for.
