I would like to start this off by saying they do not accept handguns/handgun frames sent to this store. Now, my experience:I ordered a handgun frame and had it sent to this small business in town as I am a firm believer in small business support, after looking at reviews it seemed like a great place to give my hard earned dollars. After receiving an email that the firearm frame was delivered on Thursday, I went to pick it up Friday morning. When walking into the store there was a man on the phone behind the counter and a woman on behind the counter, I started speaking to the woman with “hi there, I had a pistol frame sent-“ and was interrupted by the man on the phone who turned to look at me and said very aggressively “Have a nice day.” Then continued glaring at me, While I was confused at this I continued with a few more words to the woman explaining about my order, before she kindly interrupted to explain to me that they do not and why they do not accept handgun deliveries and that most people callIn advance to make sure certain items can be received at that particular FFL dealer. I apologized for the inconvenience and left. The Woman was clearly annoyed but kind, but the man was rude and despicable. I’m leaving a review because I don’t believe people should be treated that way (in general) but especially from a small business.

My husband went in to purchase hunting supplies. Our dogs were so nervous in the vehicle, but the owners allowed our dogs into the store. They loved the owners because they got on the floor and played with them and gave them treats! Oh water too! Small town stores are the best! We don’t live in the area, but we will be back!!

Took my marlin 60 in there to boresight my scope. Within seconds the owner had it sighted in. No charge. Been in there a lot and always friendly service. Best place in the area to shop for hunting supplies and the prices are great. Highly recommend this buisness

I recently picked up hunting again after a very long hiatus. DW has been amazingly patient and helpful in making sure I have the right gear. Not necessarily the most expensive but the best tool for what I’m looking to do.Monday after opening weekend of gun season Doug spend half an hour with me finding the right bow and test firing it downstairs. Just one of several stories I personally have here. You will not find better service.

Everything has been chaotic and confusing this year and people like me are trying to find simple and safe activities to bring some sort of normalcy. I recently moved to the area and my knowledge of businesses that offer things such as fishing licenses is outdated. After a few stops I was directed to this fine establishment. I require special licensing and the few staff on hand were more than willing and able to get me on track and ready to cast out for that Bass. Clean, safe and offering great deals on outdoor equipment, I recommend anyone looking for quality goods visit DW. Far better than chaotic and unknowledgeable staff in THAT BIG BOX STORE! Stay safe, stay healthy and shop local. It matters and we all need community in trying times!

I have to give only 3 stars because I had a scope mounted on a rifle at this store. The scope recently failed and the response from the warranty center was that the cause for the failure was certainly "without question, due to overtightening of the scope rings while mounting and installing". So, yeah, nice people and all but maybe buy a torque wrench before you go smithing on other people's rifles. $$$
