Came to this true value on Jan 8th with every intention of purchasing an m18 milwaukee jobsite radio. I noticed they had a deal going on if you purchase 2 5.0 batteries you get a listed tool for free. One tool was worth 250 so I simply and kindly asked the female manager if I could get the jobsite radio also listed at 250 if I purchased the batteries. Knowing full well she probably couldn't but figured I'd ask. Her reaction to my simple question was that of disgust and annoyance. I had EVERY intention of spending 250 on the radio but after getting treated like another annoying customer to her. I walked out with nothing and am now on my way to purchase said radio from hoke depot. With such poor attitude, I think true value are losing out on thousands of dollars in sales due to this woman's distanc

My favorite hardware to shop, they are always helpful and most times they have exactly what I need. I like the owner because he bends over backwards to keep the store fully stocked and good help hired.

I love this place! The staff is top notch: knowledgeable, helpful & available. The store is well stocked and prices are reasonable. They are a UPS drop off/pickup center too!! Big box stores are my LAST resort; I always shop first at “The Drews.”Support local, small business & community!

This store reminds me of how all old town stores used to be. The customer service is excellent and they get to know you and know just about everyone that comes in by name. I'm not sure what kind of magic they pull off but the variety of hardware store parts is superb, I don't know how they fit it all in the store. Prices are a bit high but it is locally owned and you would never get the customer service you get here at any big box store. Definitely recommend!

This place has every small part, bolt, screw or fastener you will probably ever need. I went in to find a short stainless metric threaded cap screw for a very special application. No problem, how many do you need. Amazing service as well.

I go to Drew's often. Sue, Bonnie and the whole crew are knowledgeable, helpful and they always have what I need. My lawn care arsenal is growing strong. I get all my Stihl and Honda equipment here. I love supporting the local businesses as I am one too in the area. Thanks all!

Picked out flowers, waited in line for flowers to be checked, went inside to pay and came back to grab my flowers. Apparently they didn't ring them all up and wouldn't let me take my flowers. What a waste of time and a silly system that clearly doesn't work. I will be buying my flowers and veggies elsewhere 🤦🏽‍♀️

Best hardware store in Ozaukee county hands down! Exactly what you picture when you think of "hardware store"! Literally an unbelievable amount of products in this place. Nut n bolt selection is awesome. Rental equipment available too. Lots to see! Outstanding staff, very knowledgeable and friendly. Prices are decent and it's a local business, let's support them! Highly recommended!

Super helpful place. I like renting their equipment when I've a yard project. They've got tillers, trimmers, power rakes for thatching, and a slew of other equipment too. If you can't find it somewhere else, try Drews.

Nice selection, like the garden section - however the service is kind of spotty - our impression after many visits is that several of the employees seem a bit rude or harried and can also be disorganized - its hit or miss - would like to see just a more consistently friendly attitude among all employees - one reason we go to the local hardware store over big box is to support local owners - so act like you are happy we are shopping there:)

I called here to reserve a rental tool about 5 days in advance. They took my info and everything was all set to go. I go to pick up the tool (a tiller in case you are wondering) but they made a mistake and rented all of them out to other customers instead even though they had me down to rent it that afternoon. They pulled an old one out of the shed in the back that was out of commission, but I took it home anyway to give it a try. I got it started, but the pull starter would not retract, and after running it for a few minutes eventually the belt snapped on it. I took it back, and by the time I got back one of the good ones was returned already, so they let me take that.TL;DR, had a bad rental experience, finally got a good working tool I needed, manager let me keep it an extra day at no cost. It was a bit of a run around, but the management went out of their way to make things right in the end, and that is what matters.
