I enjoy the store, nicely stock. Both freshwater fishing and saltwater fish. They had everything I needed and things I wish I had money for. Sales employee in saltwater very helpful 👌. Check out was overwhelming with the addition add on offer 😀.

Customer service really sucks. You want any help you wait for a long time? And then still don't get any help. You have to chase somebody down which should never be. Definitely need more knowledgeable workers for the pets they carry. They can't really answer questions about them. AlsoI just purchased a Guinea pig cage setup that's damaged I will be returning that as soon as possible. Definitely need to hire more workers in Stevens Point location.

I bought 22$ on cat food and used 20$ of my account coupons.... I was told they would not refund my coupons with an exchange. They said they could not give me more than 2$ for a refund!!! I have been a member for over a year. Totally unacceptable.

I was looking for a specific heart worm med. Thought you were my best chance of finding it without going to the vet's office. Even though I was not able to find it I did find a multi vitamin for my dogs and some treats.

Will nvr use services again for hair grooming literally dropped dog off for haircut 2 1/2 hrs later picked up my dog like nothing happened yet got charged full price asked lady infront why am I being charged if they ended up not doing a full haircut only thing I see different on her is he back area just looks like a chunk of missing hair n nothing else SMH 1st experience and last will never return for grooming services again all was told oh she didn't like the buzzer then clip her hair simple as that but still should nvr of got charged for full service when it wasn't even done ridiculous u had dog for over 2 hours n nothing to show for it

My first time at Petco with the dog. Nail trim only. The grooming staff was great to work with. I'm a bit irritated that there was an added 99 cent charge to the bill for "materials". Absolutely no materials used during trimming including no treats for the dog. I expressed my concern to the grooming staff. None of them thought the material charge was fair. They kept saying it was petco's policy. Then one of the women had the nerve to suggest that the material charge was for the nail clippers to keep them sharp. Poppycock!!! This was our first time. If this is how Petco wants to keep customers returning, their 99 cent decision just cost them this customer. It's all about Petco's corporate greediness. Again, the groomers are wonderful and caring. The company not so wonderful or caring.

I've gone here for different things at different times of the day and no matter what someone was near by or could be found if i need help finding something or just need to ask a question. One time two differnt people gave me some helpful advice that really helped me a lot with a few of the dogs i have.

Petco always does a fantastic grooming job on my dog Lily and they also have lots of good nutritious food for her in their store , thank you for always taking such good care and understanding with my dog Lily 🐶 I wouldn't trust anyone else with Lily May, thanks to the groomers in Wausau Wisconsin 🐕

Got my Finley and Tiller at Petco. They are just the sweetest little guys. And we got two fish yesterday. The staff is helpful if you can find someone to help you. Sometimes it's a bit frustrating.

Toby was very helpful and educational when buying a fish. He didn't assume that we were complete idiots and that we didn't have a correct tank size at home yet or that we didnt have good bacteria in the tank or that we were mixing fish we were not supposed to....We asked for a fish and and he got us the fish. He did NOT deny us the fish we wanted to purchase. He did NOT lecture us or talk down to us however he was very educational and just went over the stuff we needed as a gentle reminder. He didnt assume we weren't prepared instead he just asked us if we needed help finding anything for the fish. My daughter was excited to buy a fish and Toby made it a good experience. Thank you again Toby for the great experience!

I've been here for two reasons. The first is with friends buying cat supplies, and so I would suggest researching to see if PetCo has the right brands and such before visiting if you're looking for specific items. The second reason is to pet the cats. If you want to, you can ask an employee to hold a cat even if you don't plan on taking the cat home, but don't disturb the cats' sleep. That's taboo.

I went there to get a few different kinds of wet cat food for my cats to try as one of my girls is very picky. I was able to get some different options at a reasonable price. Crossing fingers that she'll like at least one of them! The donation to pets in need always gets me, I have to donate to help these sweet animals.

I love their fish program! Many chain stores have a poor fish setup, but not this one! They have a great variety of fresh water and salt water fish. Pictured are my pictus catfish and my clown pleco that I purchased from Petco.Petco also has a great variety of things for your dog, cat, birds, reptiles, or amphibians.

We were pretty regularly going here for our aquarium supplies. We stopped going after getting an infestation of bladder snails after buying fish/other snails from them. The staff are helpful, relatively knowledgeable, and kind.

It honestly should be a zero im so sick of buying fish here and they die in less then a day. We thought it was our water but its not we started with a fresh tank let it run for over a month and bought fish home last night and they died already and all our water levels are where they are suppose will never be buying fish here again ive probably spent over 200 in fish for them not to make 24hrs
