The store in Plover needs a 5 star rating but the home base is un reliable for their service and web site. Would not accept my credit card it stated but it did and got some stuff I never ordered and was billed. Then I have charge on my card I never received and called them only to get promises for credit. Shouldn't had been charged shipping but did. Orders came all split up each shipment was billed separately. DO NOT ORDER ON LINE

My sister and I went to look, but while there, she was inspired with an idea and as the ladies at the cutting table asked about her project, they jumped right in know exactly which company would have the best paper and knew the stock well enough to recommend trim for the project! Amazing customer service!

Sometimes they seem a bit understaffed and it can take awhile to get fabric cut or to check out. The staff have always been super nice though. Not all staff are craft or sewing experts, but many are knowledgeable. My favorite part about this store is that it's pet-friendly!

I submitted an order for pickup, I made sure it was things that were all in stock, only five items. Submitted the order before 5pm (at 3pm) of course I received the confirmation email that the order was received and I was billed. BUT I HAVE YET TO HAVE ANYONE FILL THIS ORDER. I sent my husband to the store and they said they couldn't do it. They were too busy, the store was dead. It's the end of the next day (they've had all day to fill the order) and it's still not filled. At this point I just want my money back.**Edit**- DAY 3. I have contacted customer service and have not heard back, I STILL have not had my order filled. I'm not sure what's more frustrating the loss of money or that I can't get my materials. I'm going in to the store tonight let's see what new excuse they have.

Their cutting table is almost always busy, but the employees work quickly, so the wait isn't generally too long. So much fabric to choose from as well!

I live 30 minutes away from two different JoAnn stores but I choose to drive an hour one way to the Plover location! I’m in my 20’s so when I say I’m a quilter, I’ve had staff at other locations look at me cross-eyed like “yeah right.” The Plover staff is always so friendly and the quality of fabric keeps me coming back.A few weeks ago their P.O.S. System was down and could temporarily only accept cash. I only had my check book, my bank was all the way back home, and I had already gotten my fabric cut! They were so accommodating allowing me to go get cash from a friend in town. I came back over 2 hours later and my fabric was still sitting there waiting for me!

This is a great place and the staff is always willing to help you find things. They even have customers that will sew things for you if you can't do it yourself. I know as I had a nice lady sew patches on my work uniforms and embroider my name on a few jackets.

Just called them for a quick check if they had dark grey fabric and was told that it was impossible for the employee to go and see if there was any because "our stock changes constantly". I'm pretty sure it isn't flying off the shelves at a rate that it is not fathomable to find out if one simple color is available. She was rude to me and hung up after telling me that I would have to come into the store. First time calling that store and the last. Please hire customer orientated workers next time. Really disappointed.

Lots of good crafts goodies. Bring your creative juices and start that project. Love the staff as welp. The air temperature was super comfortable. I was able to test the bathroom and all toilets worked good and washed hands.

Usually have a good experience but yesterday I was overcharged one yard of fabric. The woman helping me was also helping and listening to a new employee trying to figure out how to measure something. I think she got confused.The fabric was really cheap so I don't plan on traveling 50+ miles round-trip for a refund. I'll just have to keep an eye on how they measure things.

The customer service is not up to par. I was not greeted when I arrived to check out. I mentioned I had a coupon and was told it wouldn't apply which I understood but when I tried to ask a question about the coupon I was immediately cut off. I tried to pay with my phone and a comment was made by the cashier "I never see that work". I tried asking if I was holding my phone incorrectly but again was cut off and told to use my card. I asked to speak with the store manager and to my surprise she was the rude cashier I was interacting with . I asked how I could file a complaint and she said "corporate" and threw her hands up in the air. I asked for her name because she wasnt wearing a name tag and she wouldn't give it to me.She made us feel that we were an inconvienece for her and because of that I will shop online so that she can go back to stocking shelves and not have to deal with customers.

One of my favorite local craft stores. Lots of different styles of crafting supplies, including cake / cookie decorating, bead work, needle crafts, yarn and sewing supplies. Great staff that will help with any questions you may have.They offer a military discount if you or a spouse are eligible, and they have an app that keeps all the promos (and your military discount) as easy as a quick barcode scan at the register.

Awesome Store. I was to the Jo Ann Fabrics store in Plover, WI. Clean, neat, very organized and well staffed today.I needed to replace some fabric that I already had purchased in another JoAnn store last weekend. The fabric I purchased had a flaw in it that I did not see as the girl unwrapped it. I did use the 60 percent off coupon on it as it was 14.99 a yard red mattress ticking. It was the last of the bolt.Being in Wisconsin Rapids for the weekend I thought I would just look to see if I could find it at the Plover Store. I need it for a mission event at church next weekend.They had it - I replaced the three yards and the Store Manager Kathy was so helpful and over-road the price to reflect the 60 percent off.Thank you and Merry Christmas.

Went to Plover, WI store because of the 60% off coupon. The item I purchased had no signage that it was on sale and it was not an exempt item on the coupon but they did not give me the discount. Only gave me 40%. Took item and receipt back and was treated so rudely by manager on duty. She snapped at me when I thought she was having a difficult time finding the item. Customer service training is lacking. Fortunately not the only craft store in town. I believe they work on the bait and switch sales program.

I was struggling with multiple bolts of fabric and a cart with my baby and kept dropping the bolts and was having a hard time maneuvering it all to the fabric counter. There were at least 4 workers within 15 feet of us and NO ONE offered to help me. I wasnt about to leave my daughter alone in the cart just to get the fabric moved. There was even a Male employee BLOCKING MY WAY through the aisle because he was using a computer. It was like everyone was going out of their way to ignore me. I never leave reviews like this and try to let things go but this was just plain rude. I almost walked out and left the fabric sitting on the floor...this was after the 3rd time they fell asleep out of the tiny cars they have. Not a good experience at all. Your employees have bad attitudes whenever I'm there and dont know how to act when customers are around.

I was shocked at the very rude sales attendant. I was recently visiting your plover store with my elderly hard of hearing mother. We were shopping for some fleece fabric for a Christmas project.We selected a number of bolts to have cut. The cutting table had two attendants cutting fabric. We waited patiently. When one additional person "Jenn" pushes the middle attendant aside and says I can help who's next. When we questioned about what a remnant looked like (because it was rolled up) she rudely said 'I'm cutting this open sues" referring to the other attendant, and tossed it over the counter, Then my Mom tried to help her unroll the bolt and Jenn said "I can do it, don't help me" very disrespectfully to my mom. I pulled my mom away from the counter. She completed our order like it was an honor to serve us ....not really at all. I told my mom if that is the way they treat their customers I can get the material in Wausau and be glad to take my business elsewhere. My mom said they have other attendants including the store manager that have talked to her like that before.I am very disappointed that Jenn was so mean to an older customer. That is discrimination at its worst. Please speak up to people who are in the wrong!Have a Christmas Kindness attitude people. It makes the tough days better in the world.
