Platteville isn't a huge town, but during the middle of summer, our Farmer's Market is terrific! We have great local farmers, bakers, organic meat, flowers, dog treats, and beautiful homemade crafts. It's a great place to go on Saturday mornings.

My son loves to go and buy baked goods and dog treats. I like to go and plan my weekend meals around what I buy. This weekend I am making a soup. It's a nice morning family event to get the weekend started.

Next time you're in Platteville please make a point to stop by the Platteville Farmers Market. Regardless of the week, you'll be able to pick up a wide variety of flowers, vegetables, fruits, homemade goods, and treats for both humans and pets. even though we have a large garden at home, I find things at the Platteville farmers market that I am currently not growing. Plus, I think it's very important to support our local farmer's market as they often offer things that not everybody will grow. Every week I go, there's something there that I'm not growing myself. Plus, the craft vendors there are all making something that I can't even come close to recreating. in my opinion, the Platteville Farmers Market is one more reason to make Platteville a weekly destination.

Good selection for a small town. There were about 20-25 vendors with flowers, dog treats, homemade crafts, fresh produce and baked goods. Worth a visit to support the local economy!

Pouring rain today but the faithful venders endured. Huge red peppers, fragrant cantaloupe, homemade lemon bars and farm fresh eggs. I love this venue.
