I enjoy coming here to shop. The deli is good with very accommodating staff. I enjoy their sales and checking out their clearance dairy selection. The drive up service to put your groceries in the car is awesome! The children's rides in the book section are so fun for my toddler. And they only cost a penny!! The manager is frequently out in the aisles and always has a friendly hello. I also appreciate their bulletin board where I have posted and also gotten information. The only thing I have not been satisfied with is the fruit. More often than not it has been marginal in taste and how long it lasts.

Piggly Wiggly is a decent grocery store to grab a few things you may have forgot. They have a good variety but the prices here are a little high for not being in bulk. They are usually relatively clean with good employees. I usually do not have to wait in a checkout line long.

Great selection, great sale prices, awesome meat and produce selections. But the meat was extremely bloody on outside of package, no towels, no meat bags. Under construction and what a mess! I couldn't push cart 1 handed (other arm in sling) cuz floors half tore up! Cashier was awesome & they load your groceries for you!

This is a very clean and friendly store. I normally would give it a five star rating. But their deli was closed and it wasn't even 7:00pm yet. I was planning on buying fish and chicken for supper. They have the best around (when the deli is open).

I never leave reviews but I came to pick up a few items after work at 8:45pm, which I know the store closes at 9pm. But all the lights were turned off in the bakery, meat department, all the cases and refrigerated units. I couldn’t see to grab the things I needed. No one was rude but they made it very clear they wanted me out. I grabbed what I could see and left...before 9. I like this store, that’s why I am sad. I work in the service industry too, but we serve up until closings and sometimes beyond when needed.

What a great experience I had at this store, from the moment I entered the store until the time I left! Friendly and helpful smiles from everyone I encountered! A special thank you to the store manager who personally helped this Iowa girl with her Staghorn beer obsession including the bottle opener!! ;)Another thank you to the employees out front who helped to direct me to a great bar burger at Red and Debs and finally to the checkers up front who helped me with quick directions back to Iowa/Illinois area!!! Keep doing what you do....it was so nice to see all the smiles and your customer service is off the charts!!! Thanks again!! :)

They drop the ball,,too many times..I’ve been going to Lancaster,Wi.for my DELI needs…The inconsistency of the curds, and salads is depressing…And I found Lancaster,Piggley Wiggley better…The manager in Platteville,,,sucks….

The store looks very clean! Alexis Nolte hi there...you are never supposed to defrost pork chicken burger...no type of meat in hot water...your chops turned grey because I'm assuming you tried defrosting them in hot water...

I walked in, and let me tell ya. The PIG WAS WIGGLIN. Got everything I needed and definitely more. Long story short, I bought way too much, ended up by the booze isle, and a few hours later, here I am writing about how my pig is wigglin. Wait, that didn't come out right. In all seriousness, phenomenal staff, but I'd like to see them smile more. 😁

Hey, it's a grocery store for crying out loud! I'm not sure how you review a grocery store, but here goes. The Piggly Wiggly in Platteville is always clean and well stocked with a very good deli section. Their prepared foods are also very good, especially their broasted chicken and their fried chicken at good prices. On Friday their cod dinner is very good at a great price. If you check out their specials they usually beat the heck out of Walmart prices. Huh, I guess you can do a review of a grocery store, who knew?

One of the few mom and pop style grocery stores left. Employees are very friendly and helpful and the lines are a lot shorter than Walmart. Support your local businesses please!

For a Southern Californian or just about any 80's kid not from the Midwest we've heard of Piggy Wiggly's, but it took me 30 years to visit one. While on a work trip I had some free time to scope the local landscape and after a night of drinking I came here looking for some remedies.I was pleasantly surprised at the produce selection. Sadly I imagined it would be corn, lettuce and potatoes. I'm glad I came here in the fall as the squash, tomatoes, zucchini and the standard selection was also available. Granted they were light on arugula, spinach, mushrooms and maybe considered that more "artisanal" produce. The organic selection was non existent, but I was told a majority of the produce was local which is good. The whole gluten free, organic market probably isn't as big here.I had no idea the lack of local options that compete for the grocery needs of the city. There is a walmart a few miles away, but it's outside walking distance from main streets. Prices were less expensive than I imagined for brand named products and many had generic versions at a fraction. Granted I was staying in a hotel so I wasn't here to stock the pantry I was impressed with their deli. A nice variety of meats and sausages, but considering the state of Wisconsin are supposedly big on cheese I thought they would have a bigger variety, especially of local varieties.Hours are pretty good for being such a small town and the service was excellent, very friendly, though I think they could tell I wasn't for around here. It was bright, clean and you could tell all about service. They even offered to walk it out to my car, which was above and beyond and though unnecessary, a kind gesture. Vitamin water, ibuprophen, some fruits, water and a deli sandwich was under $11.If I lived here I would totally come here over Walmart. The only thing that differs it from places like my local Sprouts, Jimbo's, and Whole Foods is the market, but it perfectly suits the needs of the community.

The store is always clean and there is plenty of staff to help out. Theprodice seems to always be in good shape and they have a decent gluten free selection.

Not bad prices. Some staff was way beyond rude and confronting other customers very loudly about personal business that should NOT of been said. The poor lady looked mortified

They violated Title VII of the 1964 Civil Rights Act by refusing my employment for not wearing a mask when I told them it goes against my religious beliefs.

It's a nice place to shop. I wish they hadn't redone the floor in those tiles though. The noise of the cart bumping over all the cracks is maddening.

Wouldn't go there if it wasn't so handy. It always seems dirty and the deli employees are so rude I have stopped going to the deli all together. Good bakery. Expensive

Decent grocery store. A little too dirty for my taste, and prices are a bit higher than normal. People are very nice there.

Best and most unique beer, wine, and alcohol selection I've seen in any grocery store ever. They had things I've had to hunt down at speciality stores.

It was better when it was a Dick's Supermarket. The place was more community minded. When it was Dick's there was alot of public services there. But the pig bought it and those services were being dropped one by one.

Not a bad grocery store I guess but they changed the floor and now the manager guy gets really mad when you drift the carts. Nobody gets mad when I drift the carts at Walmart.

Not too small, not too big. Has everything you need but you don't have to constantly trip over people or walk 10 miles to do your shopping

Helpful and friendly staff. The produce and meat counter leave much to be desired, but it is a small town grocery store.
