I will never shop here again. I was in the fitting room trying on clothes. I had sunglasses, leggings and a pair of sandals in ky cart outside the door. When i came out of the fitting room my cart was gone. I looked at the customers nearby but they didnt have it. I go to the front and ask the woman with the bright red hair if she knows what happened to my cart because its gone. She tried telling me that the cart she put next to the return rack was mine. I said it wasnt because thats empty and mine had stuff in it. She just repeats herself saying that was my cart because she moved it. I again tell her that its not (which i knew as mine had a sticker stuck on it) and there were 3 carts nexr to the fitting rooms at the same time. Instead of helping me either finding the cart or finding the stuff again she just tells me "well u can go around the store and ask if one of the other customers took it". I couldn't stand how rude and unhelpful she was both with telling me the cart was mine when i told her it wasnt AND her not trying to help me that i just said "yeah no" and left. Horrible customer service if u ask me.

Overall I like this location. They seem to have enough parking and store entry is easy enough.Donation drop off is easy; just pull into their "drive thru" and an attendant will unload your car.Store prices are comparable to other Goodwill stores.One complaint I do have, is the condition of some items they put out for sale. Items may have huge chips or cracks, corroded batteries, holes; once I even found a blender with the electric cord cut off!!! So be warned, look everything over carefully prior to purchase.05/26/2022 edit:This store has become better with products being put out. For the most part, items are not damaged now.In the spring months, inventory seemed very low while other locations or thrift stores seemed to have plenty of stock. With summer and recent donations from garage sale leftovers inventory has picked up and the prices have NOT increased yet.There are several associates at this location who are very good at their jobs; courteous, engaging, polite. Keep up the good work.08/16/2022Hard goods, baby/kid clothes, toys, shoes, purses plus a few other items have all been reorganized and shuffled around the store a bit. Prices still seem reasonable.

Very nice clean assortment of clothes in all sizes. Many household and occasion/holiday items. Nice atmosphere, not too busy. The employees were all pleasant. Very glad I stopped to look around, I even found a few items to buy.

Prices have recently increased dramatically and staff attitude has changed. I’ve been a customer of this store consistently for 5 years and have seen a fast decline. The staff is now rude and short with customers, including management. Inventory selection has become like a dollar store. I’ve updated my review from 5 stars to 1. I’ll no longer shop here.

I did it again. Thiftying Diva cleaned up on a dime. Found a sharp red leather jacket for $7.99 & some Black leather leggings, a lighted Xmas tree $9.99 & a few toys/books for the little people. Doing my happy dance.💃

Management is terrible. Not naming names but the head lady is very rude. I have heard nothing good from past employees who have worked there and will never shop at the location do to the overwhelming negative comments I have heard about the place. Learn some human decency and stop treating your workers like dogs. Pathetic excuse of higher up Individuals.

This is the friendliest and most helpful of all the Goodwills and all stores of its kind -- donation stations/thrift stores-- I've ever used for receiving, shopping, etc. and I'm 77. Although I travel twice as far to go to these wonderful people in Platteville as I need to, I always make it my destination for donating, and tell everyone I knew as well. Thanks, Goodwill-Platteville. Keep up the great work.

Found a few items to use my Goodwill rewards card on. When checking out clerk said my card was the wrong color(white). She did say I could sign up for their blue colored card. This will probably be the last trip to this area and I don't want to carry a bunch of Goodwill cards with me.Usually Goodwill stores give the colored tag discount to everyone.I was willing to pay the higher price than normal at a Goodwill for a CD, but not after having the incorrect color of card.

Management is negative and micromanaging to the point of abuse. If you donate an item with actual value, you can bet that item will not go on the shelves and instead will be shipped somewhere else thereby removing that value from the community it came from. They use the 1938 ADA to severely underpay disabled people while acting like they employ them from the goody goodness of their heart. They've completely strayed from the original reverend's goals and become a corporate poop centrifuge. Donating to Goodwill is most often the same as throwing something in the trash. You could put your stuff on the curb for a week and it'd stand a far higher chance of going to someone in need.

Haven't had nearly as many good finds here as other Goodwills, but the store is organized and easy to browse. Best finds here include a copy of Final Fantasy III (Video Game) and The Pillars of the Earth (Board Game).

Wll organized (especially when compared with Dubuque) but overpriced. I often see things that are cheaper at Walmart or the Dollar Store. They get all for free and they need to be competitive.

This location is super easy to find, right off the US-151 exit and favorite department include toys, electronics, clothing, housewares, movies, furniture and a great place to shop for Halloween garb!

This Goodwill store is overpriced and the items aren't of inequality they get them for free yet they mark them higher than Walmart why go to a second hand store when Walmart is literally right next door

I KNOW MOST OF YOU WOULD NOT GO TO A GOODWILL FOR YOUR PURCHASES BUT I DO AND I WOULD LIKE TO TELL YOU ABOUT ONE OF THE BEST EXPERIENCES I HAVE EVERY HAD, SURE BEAT GOING TO A COMMERCIAL STORE FOR MY PURCHASES. FIRST I WAS WOWED BY THE CLEANLINESS OF THIS GOODWILL, THEN IMAGINE SEEING ALL THE CLOTHING ARRANGED BY COLOR THEN WITHIN THAT BY SIZE. WE WERE NOT SEGREGATED BY THE EXTRA SMALLS ON THIS SIDE OF THE STORE OR EXTRA LARGES ON THE BACK SIDE OF THE STORE. THE COLOR OF BLUE WENT FROM X-SMALL RIGHT DOWN THE ILIES TO X-LARGE,ECT. ELETRONICS, BOOKS, LUGGAGE AND SO ON ALL PUT IN THIER OWN SPACE, CLEANLY AND NEATLY ARRANGED. YOU KNOW WHEN YOU GO INTO A STORE USED OR NEW AND WANT TO WASH YOUR HANDS RIGHT AFTER YOU LEFT IT, YOU WON'T IN THIS GOODWILL. THE PEOPLE WORKING WERE SO PLEASANT AND HELPFUL, I WAS STUNNED. I CHECKED THEM OUT, A COUPLE OF TIMES JUST TO WATCH AS SOME OF THEM KEEP THE GOOD STUFF FOR THE ANTIQUE DEALERS, ONLY SETTING STUFF OUT ON CERTAIN DAYS TO ACCOMMODATING THEM. (THAT I HAVE SEEN DONE MYSELF IN OTHER GOODWILLS) THIS STORE SETS STUFF OUT DAILY AND AT NO PARTICULAR TIME, AGAIN I WAS WOW. I AM NOT THE EASILY IMPRESSED BY RETAILERS TO ME I FEEL ALL THEY WANT IS TO SEPARATE YOU FROM MONEY IN ANYWAY POSSIBLE. WHEN YOU HAVE A CHANCE TO VISIT US CHECK THIS STORE OUT.
