I called my vet after hours and left a voicemail about an emergency with my dog. Before hearing back, I called three other vets. Two didn't answer. Dr. Beebe agreed to help my dog even though we aren't current clients. He was kind but also honest and straightforward about boundaries for what he would and would not do, which I respect. He not only treated our dog immediately, but also provided detailed information to help us understand how our dog might behave after treatment, warning signs to look out for, and how to handle aftercare. We even chatted off-topic for a bit after treatment and he did not seem rushed or inconvenienced even though we were taking time away from his personal life. After such great care, we hope to transfer both of our animals to this vet. We are forever thankful for his valuable services during a very scary time. Thank you, Family Pet Hospital!

Staff here are incredibly friendly, quick, and welcoming. They explain every step, discuss any concerns you have, and are very caring while handling the pets. I brought my cat in for the first time, and while friendly, I had no idea what to expect for her first vet appointment. She adored the staff, loved getting pet by them, and even felt comfortable enough to explore the exam room. Would definitely return in the future!

We couldn't be happier with how our vet(s) have been with our two dogs. The care and concern by all staff is amazing. They also offer boarding, and our dog is always happy when he is at their facility. Highly recommend!

Oliver, my 200 lb. Great dane has been coming here since he was 10 weeks old. They take amazing care of him and always greet him with love and kindness. Always very straight forward about a prognosis!

Everyone was friendly, kind and considerate. We were scheduled quickly and were able to wait in a room with the door closed for the privacy of our elderly cat. All procedures were explained clearly. The results were quickly shared and medication instructions were easy and clear. Connor was recommended and did a great job.

The rest of the staff is great but Dr. Beebe is mentally unhinged and should not be seeing peoples animals. Over the phone (without seeing my dog) he told me she was probably dying of stomach cancer and bleeding out internally. My one year old dog had developed a firm abdomen after eating her nightly portion of food. She seemed to be in a lot of pain. We took her to a different vet after that disturbing phone interaction with Dr. Beebe. Turns out my dog had a stomach blockage from a foreign body which was immediately taken care of without any complications. Than you for nothing Dr. Beebe.

Please do not let Dr. Beebe see your animals. He is a hot head with no professionalism. The other staff is great, but I called the emergency line listed on the Family Pet Hospital voicemail and he answered. He then proceeded to yell at me for waking him up. I told him about the emergecy with my dog. He heard my wife on the phone in the background. She was calling the sixth animal hospital around us after being told they were full for the night time and time again. I told him she was also calling and trying to find anywhere to bring our dog due to the urgent situation. He then proceeded to rant to me that we had no loyalty so why should he even see our dog? We will never come here again. The other staff is great. Its a shame Dr. Beebe ruined it for us.

This vet service is amazing!! My dog had been very sick and got him in right away when the previous vet I was going to completely refused! The staff was so friendly and absolutely great with my dog. Dr. Beebe explained everything very well and what the next steps should be. I’m so thankful for all of them helping my fur baby.

The staff are great here, but Dr. Beebe can be very emotionally volatile. During one of my visits, he unexpectedly became very angry, to the point that I had to talk him down from an emotionally charged rant. Then seconds later he tried making small talk about my shirt like nothing had happened. It was clear to me that the two staffers also in the room with us had dealt with his emotional instability before. I sympathize for his staff because if he is willing to treat a customer like that, I can’t imagine how he treats his employees.

My dog is reactive & very timid with new people/environments and the staff was very patient and understanding with her. They made the experience as low stress as possible. They also were honest about where to save money and which things weren't 100% necessary. I did not feel like they were upselling me on things for their benefit. For my dog's first appointment she was with Dr. Kassen, loved her! I also loved that we were immediately taken to the appointment room upon arrival. At other vets we have had to wait in the lobby with multiple other dogs and their owners and I have found that to case a lot of extra stress/higher energy for the dogs. For her next appointment she is with Dr. Beebe and I'm sure he will be just as great!

I cannot say enough positive things about this vet hospital and it's people. I had an urgent situation and they saw us that same day even though we had not been there before. They were very thorough in exam. My cat had been misdiagnosed elsewhere. I got the right information here and was able to make the best decision for my baby. His condition was not treatable and it was best for him to let him go. I had the choice to let him come home with me to die, but I knew that it was not the right choice for what he was going through. The doctor and the staff were very compassionate and supportive. They also treated my boy very respectfully throughout the whole process. There was no rush and they gave me the time I needed to say goodbye. Losing my boy was very hard but I could not have in a better place for it. And I felt confident I finally had the right information to know what was best for him. Even though I wish Platteville was not quite as far as it is, I will go back there again with my other animals when they need care. The place is very clean, welcoming and professional, and the doctor was knowledgeable.

There are not enough positive words to say about Family Pet Hospital! We travelled from out of town when our dog got sick. Despite not being a regular client, Dr. Beede took our after hours call and help ease our worries. We brought our dog in to be seen and the staff was extremely thorough with his care even though we weren’t initially on the schedule. We’ve never left our dog before at a clinic and we had no reservations that he would be in good hands while they took care of him. Dr. Beede and the techs treated our dog like he was their own. If we lived in the area we would, without a doubt, make Dr. Beede and Family Pet Hospital our regular vet.

Family Pet Hospital LLC always goes above and beyond in helping us keep our pet safe and healthy. Our dog recently had a tick, I was able to call and ask questions while removing it, and then was able to send a picture to get further advice. They saw Oliver that day, and did all the proactive care to help him not have bad bacteria spread from the tick. This is the kind of care we always receive from them. We also get reminders in the mail and emails to help us to keep Oliver healthy with vaccinations and physicals. They do such a great job, so happy we have found our one and only vet service.
