Not much privacy when talking to staff, everyone else coming into the building is interrupting, or other staff members. It is hard to keep focused and state what your issue is, with out some privacy,and keep your train of thought going, but I guess I got my point across to them.

I was there about 10+ years ago.. lol. To say that I miss them is a understatement. Lol. I learned Alot while being a client 😌 I was blessed with a understanding and helpful staff. I was due any day with our Lil boy, and I was monitored closely... he was the blessing I thought I would loose, because of being "homeless" I was told that I was in a 🏡 and they couldn't take my baby. And they were right!) Hospital staff tried everything in their power to try to keep baby there, but thanks to support, there was Nothing they could do.The shelter went above and beyond expectations!!)

I love the director she is amazing. They gave me a safe place when I needed it. When I stayed there I was unfamiliar with the area and really got no help from the staff, i just kind of had to find my own way and figure it out myself. It could of been alot better, but hey when your running from your abuser it's not like I was paying for services at the Hilton. I do not like that their location is disclosed to the community. My ex was able to find me and I received mail their as a big suprise.

They provided more support than you can imagine and helped me get my life back on track. I learned so much about unhealthy and healthy relationships. Best of all I developed the self esteem to finished college and become a teacher.

This is a good place . The staff is awesome . They don’t make you feel worse than you already do being there . They’re professional and helpful and not all strict with everything ... they’re people too and understand your needs and wants :)
