I was really glad to find this great cafe while on a family road trip. We had a lovely lunch and PIE! Get the homemade lemonade; it’s banging and legit the best lemonade I’ve ever had. The owner and staff were no nonsense, lovely ladies. We had a great chat and felt very welcome.

Great food at a quaint little cafe. I stop every time I get to Pepin, WI! I miss these homemade food places. Wish there were more "mom and pop" places like this!

This restaurant was incredibly welcoming and attentive to us. Inside or outside is a great experience and the food is exceptional. We ordered 3 different sandwiches and all of them killed. Their pies are delicious too. We will be backDietary restrictions: Great gluten-free options if you need thatParking: They have their own lot but there is a ton of street and playground parking nearby tooKid-friendliness: Their staff are extraordinary with kids and families. We loved our experience hereWheelchair accessibility: Very accessible. No stairs to negotiate or ramps. It’s all one level

We enjoyed a wonderful pancake breakfast in the outdoor seating area. The food was very good. The pancakes were huge and full of flavor. Egg omelette was hearty and sides were plentiful to round out the meal.Service was great.I'd go back for another round!

Food and service was good, but when it came to our bill, there were discrepancies with the prices. They stated they had recently changed their prices but the menus we were given did not reflect them at all. One of our meals was reduced in price but still not to the extent that the menu showed. We attempted to discuss how this was confusing and not ok, so the manager was called over but did not help any more than the waitress did. The manager said that the prices on our bill were what we would be paying, then walked away. The bill was at least $10 more than what it should have been. They falsely advertised their prices, and wouldn't honor what was shown, so I have to wonder how many other people paid more than what the menus showed but didn't realize it. Very disappointing.

The waitress was friendly, the food arrived quickly. The burgers were good the cheese curds not so much. One because they were cheddar, which seems wrong considering Ellsworth, WI The cheese curd capital of the world is 30 miles away and 2 because the batter was pretty heavy. My wife got the potato salad as a side which looked pretty good. The pie looked good as well but we didn't have dessert today. On the whole a pretty good place to stop for a bike while out attacking the alphabet roads on a motorcycle.

Me and my SO were in Pepin for the weekend for a family wedding at the local Vineyard, and wanted to have a nice breakfast and explore the town. This little cafe was a few blocks from our hotel, and was a wonderful experience! The food was delicious, the service very friendly and timely, and the atmosphere was so welcoming! If we ever find ourselves back in town for a weekend getaway, we will definitely visit again. 😊

Fast, friendly, reasonable. One of my pet peeves is getting charged something ridiculous for pancakes or eggs, or any other cheap breakfast food. They have reasonable prices and do breakfast better than any fancy place you'll go to. Quality, hearty, tasty. Nothing not to love, along with a small town charm and friendliness.

Cute, friendly little cafe. Sometimes busy because the food is excellent. Excellent breakfast. Biscuits and gravy are light and fluffy. French toast is perfect. Eggs/meat always hot and delicious. Good coffee, great service. Great for lunch as well...they do serve beer, mimosas, craft beer. Highly recommend for good food and friendly service.

Everything is wonderful at the Homemade Cafe. The staff is friendly and personable and the food is delicious. I had the open face roast beef and gravy with mashed potatoes. It was very tender and flavorful. Took a piece of homemade cherry pie home for dessert and it was one of if not the best I've ever had.
