I started using the Pardeeville Vet hospital when I first moved to Pardeeville in 2017. I really appreciate all the time and attention Dr Trepel gives to everyone. My Tootsie has struggled with some issues that no one was able to resolve, and he went the extra mile to help me figure out the cause.When I moved to Fitchburg in 2020, I switched vets but after trying a few different vets in the area I switched back to Dr Trepel.He just offers top notch care and I think the 1 hour drive it worth the attention and care Tootsie gets at Pardeeville Vet Hospital.While at time you can end up with a wait for your appointment. I always know that when it comes to our turn he will give as much time and attention that we need. I appreciate him and the staff for that.I will be a customer for life.

Everyone is so nice! I love that the staff here is very active in helping the rescue animal community. It says a lot about their willingness to help animals in need. The rescue I started helping uses this vet. My normal vet is in another town. When I asked my current vet to assist with this rescue pup I have now, they were unwilling to assist which makes me feel like all I am is full price revenue to their clinic. The Pardeeville clinic puts much of that aside to help the animals in need which I feel says a lot about the staff and mission to help all animals.

I have had him as my vet for a long time. My 1st puppy, Great Dane Athena, and Yuki, who lived to be 16. We moved away from the area, so we had a different vet for a while. When we moved back, I didn't know he still had a practice, but as soon as I knew where his business was again, we are back with two little kittens. He is very knowledgeable about all types of animals and foods for them. Highly recommend for your comfort and your pet

I was given a price break down For each shot that my dog was gonna need for her nail clippings. And for an exam on our hips on the day that they called me back to set the appointment. Well, the day for her appointment comes around. I go to pick her up. And it's almost $300 more than what I was quoted. I asked if I can set up payment plans and lady told me no I need payment now. How the heck am I supposed to pay that? They weren't gonna give me my dog. I had to call in the Calvary. My dog will not go there again. That is a joke and I will be calling and getting it taking care of higher up if I have to this is not over.

We won't trust our dogs to anyone but Dr. Trepel. He's been our vet for more than a dozen years and has always provided exceptional care. Our German Shepherd suddenly became very ill at just 6 years old, and Terry went 1000 miles beyond what any other vet would do to help us take the best care of him. Now he treats my Belgian Malinois service dog like she were his own. We cannot say enough good things about the Trepels and their amazing team! If we could give a 10 star review, it wouldn't be enough!

Sept 2022:Update!! Shawn is fantastic and I think has really helped turn the front desk operations around!!! He is very very nice, accommodating and most importantly organized! He also seems to be very knowledgeable in the workings of a business. Thrilled to be able to give this place a good review once again as Dr Terry truly deserves it. And happy we had to give another shot before changing vets. Great job on hiring Shawn!!November 2022:Can’t recommend any more unless you have all the time in the world to wait around and you’re pet is comfortable waiting here all day. Phone lines are always busy, always being put on hold and sometimes your call after being on hold never gets answered. Unfortunately, they also seem to be very unorganized. Once brought the bill out to me in the car (covid protocol can’t go inside) and when I asked if they were going to bring my dog out as well they thought I was in possession of my dog already - little scary! It’s just a chaotic place. Need more staff perhaps or to take less clients?Terry is a very nice vet, but it’s difficult to be expected to wait an hour just to get a single vaccination without needing anything more! Perhaps hiring a business manager and more front desk staff would help!

Dr. Terry & the staff are terrific. I can always count on my furbabies getting the best care possible! Things are running much more smooth now that they have a new receptionist. Used to have a hard time getting through on the phone or return calls on voicemail and I know service wasn't up to normal par during COVID. This no longer seems to be an issue. Dr. Terry is definitely the animal whisperer. He truly loves and cares for the animals and takes he time to talk to and give them love. My last appointment had to be rescheduled due to bad weather (blizzard conditions and subzero temps). Dr. Terry and his staff worked double time to make sure all prior appointments were honored. They were still at it when I picked my kitty up at 730pm. Even if I move away from Pardeeville, I'll definitely make the drive to bring my furbabies here.

If i could update from 1 star to zero stars, i would! The clinic did not ensure contact info when they had my cat all day, and did not perform the xray they said they would. I took off work and drove 3 hours round trip to have my cat seen and was asked to come back the next day. Now that I have an appointment with a different vet, pardeeville wants to charge me to provide records to the new vet. My new vet said that is not legal. It seems that the vet clinic is understaffed and overbooking appointments. While checking out, the office manager flew in yelling about someone he let borrow his car getting pulled over with drugs in the vehicle. Unorganized and highly unprofessional. I reccomend you take your pet anywhere but here.

They are very amazing group of people. Treat my Kitten hazel with respect and treat me with respect. A few years ago I had my dog McFly and doctor Terry and staff were amazing with helping us understand everything. I will recommend Dr Terry to anyone at anytime. Dr. Terry will answer any questions you may have and the staff are very amazing with how they treat us and understanding every concern we may have. Thanks for everything you may do.

I have only great things to say about these guys. I had a very overprotective 9 year old cat mom who was extremely worried about her little Princess having surgery. The excellent staff provided my daughter and I great reassurance and comfort knowing she would be in great hands. I was so impressed with the care they showed my little girl and her kitten, I would definitely recommend them to anyone.

We took our cat to Dr. Terry for surgery. He did a great job. Very happy with the care given, before, during and after surgery. They care about pets first, humans second. I'm very impressed by the knowledge of not only Dr. Terry but the staff as well. At times very busy so be patient, the care your pet will get is well worth it! I absolutely love the decor!

They have been just amazing with our animals. Our kitten has been going there since a week after we got her and they have helped us out a lot with her. She was happy and normal for about a month and then she ended up losing the use of her back legs and then a week or so later, she lost the use of her front legs. We are trying everything we can think of and the vet and their techs have just been amazing. I'd definitely recommend this vet to anyone. Prices are fair as well.

I an so very happy with this Veterinary...I think they are simply the best...I have a little dog that has had a difficult time in the last couple days with going #2 and has been uncomfortable cant seem to settle/ relax and I called this morning before office hours and left a message they called right back as soon as they opened and had me drop him off. They have a real compassion for the pets and I highly recommend Terry and his Staff.

I LOVE this vet!They got me in for an appointment within an hour of calling, despite being very busy that day. My cat had injured her paw and she was very scared to be taken to the vet. The vet took the time to hold her and console her before treating her. In all my years, I have never seen a vet actually hold my animal and talk to them. He was able to calm her down when we, her 'parents' could not! She went from scared and crying to purring during the visit- no lie. This vet understands and values animals. And, as a pet owner who considers my pets my "furbabies", I really appreciate someone who shows that level of care and compassion for the furry members of my family. The treatment that we received was top notch! I cannot say enough about them. If I could, I would give them 10 stars.When my kitty had to have a recheck, we were not charged additional fees for the office visit or his time. These people are not in this business for the money; it's clear they genuinely live to help animals. I'm so glad they are in my community! They have a lifelong customer here.

I took my dogs in to this vet clinic today and I was absolutely baffled by the absolute lack of professionalism and organization. I wrote down everything I wanted done to each of my dogs neatly on a piece of paper so there would be ZERO confusion on exactly what I wanted done since we can’t currently go in the clinic with our pets due to covid-19 precautions. I called ahead of time getting prices for each service I wanted to receive and calculated everything up ahead of time. They then tried to tell me it was going to be $640+ dollars. I asked for a quote when we got there so I knew each dog was getting what I had written out that I wanted them to receive. They then said they were confused again, somehow, so I called to talk to them and try to sort out what they could possibly be confused about as I thought it was pretty straight forward and any individual would be able to figure out what I wanted my dogs to receive if it was neatly written in front of their face. I asked for them to send out the invoice they made up so I could just look at that and confirm it was all correct and there was no reason for any confusion, the older lady that answered the phone kept talking over me, trying to “explain”, and ignoring my request to just simply send out the invoice, I then progressively got more frustrated and upset that she would not just comply with my request to see the invoice and she then hung up on me. She then came outside and I opened my car door so I could grab the invoice from her and she walked straight up to my open car door, put her leg in my vehicle crowding my personal space and started going off trying to explain stuff. I then repeatedly asked her to remove herself from my vehicle and just give me the invoice and go back inside. She would not removed herself from my vehicle and kept crowing my personal space, rudely talking over me, breaking all social distancing precautions currently in place and would not give me the invoice to look over myself. I asked her straight forward and politely several times before I then got very upset and asked once again if she could remove herself from my car, give me the piece of paper and go back inside. She finally did, though with a clearly negative disrespectful attitude. This was all around the absolute worst experience I have ever had in my life at a vet clinic. The ONLY good thing I have to say about this vet clinic is the one male vet tech that was coming out and getting our dogs from us and bringing them back to us. He apologized for the hassle the office girls were making several times and tried to help make things go smoother for us. I give him 5 stars, I give everyone else and the experience 0 stars. It is very frustrating when people ping-pong you around and can’t just give you straight forward information and answers to your very straight forward questions.
