My dogs have been loyal to Emily for 5 years, when Emily decides to phase your dog out - she will not longer take your calls or messages. I went in and spoke to her in person. So be aware that if she no long wants to groom your dogs she’ll stop responding. For all those who are wondering then you will be considered a new client and at this time she is not accepting to clients. Btw my dog is in her profile - the Saint Bernards. never gave permission or photo release. When I finally was able to get in after having to go in, in the morning of my photos she canceled due to illness - I within minutes tried to call back and she turned her phone off. I called multiple times then and never heard back. So yes today I did try to schedule and get answers. I was insulted and yelled at.

Took my 2 dogs there every few months for 1-2 years. Emily stopped replying to email or text and didn't answer her phone. I've seen on social media outlets that she has ghosted several clients.

We could not be happier with the outstanding job that Emily did grooming (and taking care of) our dog, Greta! Emily worked with our dog Greta and my Mother's dog, Jazzy at the same appointment. This really helped to keep each of them calm. When we arrived to pick them up, Jazzy (who is a Teddy Bear pup) was sitting on Emily's lap and Greta (who is a Poodle/German Shepherd mix) was calmly laying at her feet. We have had some traumatic experiences at other groomers, so this was great to see!The business' description says it all, "High quality at a great price!" We are happy to recommend Happy Hounds with an extreme amount of confidence.

Very pleased with professional job she did with my mini golden doodle. She came out perfect in a lot less time than her previous groomer. Her prices are very reasonable and done in a timely manner. Excellent prices and excellent service. I took my German Shephard in for her first ever grooming at 10 months old. I warned her that she does not like her nails trimmed. She did great. When I picked up Jewell there was no fear of any kind. She was completely relaxed and looked great! Thank you for the amazing job!!

Emily did amazing with our yellow lab that had an allergic reaction and now had patchy hairs from being cut back. Instead of leaving him to look funny, we took him in for a good groom and an overall shave. He looks great! She made drop off and pickup during COVID easy. Very happy with how everything went - we plan to bring him back for some summer shaves!

I took one dog to get groomed(same services) somewhere else and it was $50. I was shocked to learn how inexpensive it was for one dog here then even more inexpensive if I take both dogs at the same time then even more inexpensive if I take them every 6 weeks!!! I paid half of what I did at the other place for BOTH of my dogs to get groomed here. They smell so nice, feel soft, and have trimmed nails. Amazing all around!

I have been looking for a good groomer in Lincoln for the past 8 years. I have tried a new groomer about every year searching for one that truly knew what they were doing and gave a professional cut. I have been to "spas" and even one I called "a groomer's slave shop", though the place had been recommended to me. So I have covered the spectrum. When I tried Happy Hounds I found Emily did what I asked and the dogs (2 maltipoos) did well with her. Both my dogs have sensitive ears and don't like to have their ears plucked. I had to quit having their ears done on a regular basis otherwise they would end up shaking their heads for weeks after a plucking and I would end up at the vet. I had Emily plucked them and they did not shake their heads once. She has the magic touch and I have finally found the best groomer for me. My search is over.
