The selection is good, but the prices on most items are WAY too high. Many items can be bought new for less than their prices. I recommend the store in Appleton. Not as big, but much better deals.

I went to the Oshkosh location at 4:50pm to make a donation and the orange cones were already out. As I was going into the front door I was greeted by a gentleman who said donations are closed, hours are 1:00 - 5:00. I guess they do not need my donation!

The prices at this location are insane! I just left the Appleton store and they had boxes of door stoppers for 19¢ each. The EXACT same pulls in the same boxes are in Oshkosh for $1 each!?All of the office type chairs in Appleton sell for $5-10 each. In Oshkosh the EXACT SAME chairs are priced at $35 each! It's no wonder the merchandise sits there forever.

This is a great store that has a lot of different options for the do-it-yourself project in your home that you are looking to get done but are on a budget. They have tools you can get in the event you want to get them on the budget, and you want to save money.I have several items in my house that I bought there, such as a Miter box and the saw I got for $4.00, and a stud finder that I bought for the price of $.50 (I was very surprised to find it, and it worked fine when I got home.

Use to be one of my favorite stores for repurposing items for crafts. I was so disappointed yesterday when I was there. The prices have been jacked up. They had single wardrobe racks for $40! These are used racks. I can buy the exact same thing for new at Menards for $35.

One of my favorite places in the entire world. When you are on a budget trying to fix your house this is definitely the place to go. Very helpful people all around. From helping you find what you need to make it fit your budget to loading it up these guys have helped me do it all for a few years now. Definitely thankful for everything that they have done and have tried to do. I understand it's their job to be nice and that most people just want to collect a paycheck, but these people here go above and beyond every day.

Excellent place for second-hand home repair & furnishing items. Have gone there many times. Service at this location is good. They have worked with me many times on holding items while I arranged a way for transport.Also they tend to have a better selection than most of the otjer locations, although there are a couple of locations better.They also do a good job testing items.

I've been treated impolitely by some of the staff here. One guy interrupted my browsing to ask me if I was going to buy something or not. Their prices are okay, but as with most secondhand places, not as good as I remember growing up. Good idea to come here for cheaper furniture and miscellaneous used building materials.

Typical resale shop but geared more towards construction and remodeling. And also very typical of all resale shops when it comes to pricing... your response will either be, "Grab that. That's a great price" or "What are they smoking? I can get that at ______ for five cents more new."

WONDERFUL customer service. I wish I could remember her name, I bought some ply wood and roof shingles. This GREAT employee as she was done for the day and on her way out the door saw me waiting and stopped to ask if she could help. She went above and beyond to help me pick out the item and even mad arrangements to have to wood cut to the size I needed. All the employees I came in contact with today were outstanding. Thank you for the great service.

Shopping here for us is inconsistent. Sometimes we find things we like and many times there is nothing. They have a pretty good selection. The best part about the Restore stores is you never know what you’ll find. Certainly worth a stop if you’re in the area.

So I saw their ad on Craigslist for kitchen cabinet set that was described as in "like new condition" and had "solid wood fronts, doors, and face frames." In the pictures they appeared to be as described but there were only two pictures. I called the store several times with no answer and I left a voice mail and received no return call. I finally reached out through Facebook and was finally able to get a hold of "Liz" (who proclaimed herself to be a manager) I told her I lived four hours away and that there was no way I could make their "two hour hold time policy" to come look at them. I asked if would be okay to put a deposit down to hold them. She informed me that the only way she could hold them is of I "paid for them in full and now". I told her I would have to think about it as $1500 is a lot of money to me. I gave her a call back and asked not once but TWICE if there was ANY damage to them and if all the drawers worked properly. She stated not once but TWICE that there were in "like new condition" and had "no damage". I took her word for it... that was my first mistake... I drove four hours and rented a trailer... to find out not only were the cabinets damaged but they were in TERRIBLE condition. Parts were hanging off, chunks of wood were missing, the doors were misaligned, and three of the cabinets had HUGE CHUNKS cut out! I almost broke down in tears. I just made a $1500 dollar mistake. Before I could even get a sentence out the cashier stated "were not giving you your money back". I asked if the money could be applied to another cabinet set (they were in better condition but not what I wanted). She said she would have to "ask the manager" so she came back and stated "she's in a meeting right now, you can browse the store while you wait". A while later the cashier stated "we can do that". So I payed the additional $370 I didn't have and started to load them up. About half way through I realized we didn't have room for the countertop (the original set of cabinets didn't include them so I didn't have a big enough trailer to fit them.) so I informed the cashier that I didn't have room for them she replied "that's okay, we can hold them here for 48hrs". So I finished loading and sent my brother in to return their dolly. He came out about 10 minutes later and told me that the cashier stated I had to "come back into the store and dismantle the countertop and take it with me" or "sign a paper stating I would come back for them". I could not believe what I was hearing! Needless to say I drove away.I am a registered nurse and work 12 hours shifts... I work hard for my money! As if I needed anymore stress to my life after this year. Not only was I lied to I also ended up spending $370 more dollars I didn't have. Hopefully in the future they are more honest with their customers and are willing to admit a wrong and work on a solution together. Horrible experience.

Not a bad place to find materials for home projects. DIYers beware, you could spend hours going through everything at this store. In fact, there's so much here that I have the hardest time spending less than an hour here per visit!

Talk about great prices and variety. You're kind of on your own so don't expect much insight like lowes or home depot would give, but if you know what you're looking for, this is definitely the place to stop first.

Gotta love this place. Have tools doors windows moulding appliances light fixtures plumbing and some electrical stuff. Please donate you unwated or used home remodeling stuff here for those who can use it. They have cabinets, wahers dryers ballast, wood, siding.

I volunteered here for a few years. They have just about anything you need for the household. At a very reasonable price. They also recycle electronics, stoves, and refrigerators. They even have pick up and drop off available for around 5 bucks.

When you want reclaimed wood, trim, certain appliances and fixtures, this is the place to go. They have miscellaneous hardware, drill bits, and sockets organized pretty well if you need that sort of thing too.
