DO NOT GO HERE to get your venison processed. Horrible service and overpriced. I had a friend drop off my deer because I was working and they charged $220 just to cape and cut steaks. And the steaks look like they cut them by hand with no set thickness. When I asked why it was so expensive they told me $40 extra because I didn’t want ground venison in packages just throw all scrap that can’t be steaks into a bag. 🤦🏻‍♂️ So less time and materials cost me more. That is so backwards.

We had them process our deer meat and very disappointed in what we got. We processed most of it ourselves. We asked to have what we brought to be cleaned and cut for steaks and jerky. The grind we asked to be made into hamburger. That part was good but the back strap wasn’t cleaned and the silver skin was left on it. They literally just wrapped it in butcher paper. Guess we will be looking for another place to process our deer in Wisconsin. We did contact Beck’s and still haven’t heard back. Would recommend anyone looking to have meat processed to NOT use Beck’s.

I would like to know where the other half of my T bone is. I ordered a side of beef from Becks last September and so far everything but the burger couldn't even be sold in a store. All of it has had huge bones with very little meat. I kept giving it a chance because I thought the next package would be better but today I opened my T bones and half the steak was gone. I would not be upset if we had received the other half labeled as something else but they are just gone. When you buy a side of beef you pay buy the hanging weight. So I paid for meat that I didn't get .

Horrible Experience…I dropped my deer off for processing in November 2022, and I STILL HAVE NOT received my venison (or a call with an explanation). I called several time throughout the year, left messages, and was ghosted…I spent $130 and have absolutely nothing to show for it. Beware…this company is a joke!

Beck's services are outstanding! They have been processing our beef and pork for 15 years. We appreciate their meticulous process of cutting, smoking, sausage making and packaging. All of the recipes used to smoke and process our meat have no artificial ingredients and taste amazing !

Dropped a deer off said put in trailer when I arrived realize there trailer was not plugged in called they said realized that they would be down plug in obvious they didn't paid for processing got meat back first steak did stunk so bad actually had to throw pan everything out stunk so bad rotten had health department look at remaining meat not sure out come SAD this was like 2019hopefully things changed

Unless you plan on using your whole deer within a month or two, make sure to repack your venison yourself. I thought it would be, like, sealed and when I saw the paper I figured they wrapped it in paper to stop sweating or make it easier to grab or maybe even just to look nice. Should have used or redone it sooner, it was just wrapped in butcher paper, that's it. Needless to say it's not as good as it should be anymore. I was promised that I get my deer back, but I'm wondering if I got the right deer back. Over the last two months that I've been eating certain cuts, I noticed it tastes like a much older deer than the one I brought in, and I know for a fact my deer was cleaned out very well before I brought her in, which was the same day I shot her and it was a clean shot, but this one tastes..... like a gut shot deer that wasn't cleaned right away. Believe me, you can tell the difference. Plus, I've seen in pictures that they vacuum sealed other people's pork and stuff, why couldn't they do that to the deer? I probably could have added this as an edit to my other review, but its kinda long and a different issue. Between this and the "jerky" I got back, ill be trying different places.

With how I feel right now, two stars is generous.(actually,I've changed my mind while writing this, one star for the initial quick chop, that's it) Although the initial cutting of the deer is quick, the initial price is a little more than other places, not a deal breaker though. My issue is everything else. Customer service is not only usually rude, but can never give me the right information. I also brought me deer in opening gun day, I just got my 'jerky' today. I have never ever had to wait this long, everywhere else it had been ready before Christmas. I would be willing to look past this, if it had actually been the proper jerky that I received. What is this? When I ordered it I was told it would be jerky, like the beef jerky you buy at the store, and that's what I wanted, meat I could store in my cupboard, meat I could chew on like a dog. I live in an apartment, I don't have room to put a whole deer in my freezer and fridge, that's why I got jerky. Im not gonna be able to eat this before it expires. Never once was chopped and formed jerky mentioned. When I told them what I wanted I also specifically asked that whatever part of the deer couldn't be used for proper jerky be returned as cuts or gound, since i know only certain parts can be used as proper jerky. They even have proper beef jerky available in their store! I want that, but my deer! I shouldn't have trusted them, and opened the box the second they handed it to me, but now I'm home and it's too late because they are closed.. I guess that's what I get for trusting places. When cedar creek shut down, people told me becks would be good. Never listening to them again, that's for sure. Almost a whole deer wasted in my opinion. Not worth it taking your deer here unless you just want cuts of meat, meatsticks, or summer sausage. Just expect wrong info, rude people, and a long wait time. Extremely unhappy and never coming here again for anything, and definitely not recommending it to anyone.

I had a pig cut up there. Great job. Superb bacon and ham! It's well worth the drive from anywhere in the state! Try the beef and pork natural casing hot dogs. Best I've ever had!

The processed venison I finally got back was SUPER salty, can't even eat more than half a stick at once. Not sure why they added so much salt, it still has to be refrigerated/frozen. My other major issue is that it takes so long to process and that either the employees don't even know how long or they don't care enough to give a real answer. First time I called to ask an approximate time I could get it (so I could make sure i had the money) I was told 1-2 weeks longer about a week before December. January came along and I called again, this time I was told one to two more months. Time finally came and I got a call saying it would be $100+, but the math didn't add up so I called again and talked to someone else, it was resolved to the real price, a little less than half, but just make sure to check the math for yourself. My deer didn't turn out very well, so next year I'll try a different place. I know others have had good experiences, I guess it just depends on what your getting and what employees are there.

Nothing but the best! Terry and the whole crew will take care of you start to finish. Great people to work with. Quality meat with great prices from their cases as well as top quality butchering. Nothing fancy because they focus on the important things like quality and service. Wouldn't go anywhere else!

We use becks here in Oshkosh or the one in Kaukana for our venison every year. Good price and they do a great job. Our order was ready in less than a week too.

Had my deer meat ground up and processed at Becks - can't say enough about how good the sausage and hot sticks turned out - my family loves them! As for service they had it completed in about a week - I am used to waiting weeks for the processing to be completed and their employees are super friendly - I recommend Becks Meats...

Beck's has the best meat and beef jerky! My daughter will only eat jery from Beck's. Staff is always friendly and helpful. You can not find better prices or better tasting meat.
