Hy-Vee staff is very friendly. They keep up the store nicely. They are upgrading since buying out Bill's. It was sad to see Bill's go, but I appreciate the high quality food and excellent grade of pork they sell.I was able to purchase a larger quantity of Hatch chili peppers which have a short season. Their produce supplier was there. Hyvee uses Melissa's produce put of California. Dave is their area representative. We are well taken care of!

I called the store at 7:00 a.m. today and was told they had the specialty bakery item I was looking for. I just picked it up and the customer service was fantastic and the bakery item looks very fresh. The front end personnel were very friendly and looked like they take pride in their work and like their job. That is hard to find nowadays.

They’re slowly but surely making improvements to the store, prices are a little high compared to other area stores in Madison, but not terrible. Convenient location for folks in Oregon for sure! The hot food they serve is decent too if you’re in a pinch for lunch or dinner.

Forty-eight years is a long time to compete with, but in this shopper's opinion, Hy-Vee in Oregon is starting it off right, replacing our old beloved Bill's Grocery Store. Rumors are that they kept the vast majority of Bill's staff, and in many ways, there's not much too terribly different or so it seems after our first viewing. Sure, there are Hy-Vee signs and colors up, but on opening day, there is a large bustle and forage as curiosity creeps in for us small towners.The fruit looks good. There is a bit of extra area for cut up veggies and fruit. Deals on some of the meat, and precooked shrimp. A nice added take out grill that looks a bit different.And I got to (excuse the colloquialism), see an old buddy from a long time ago...'Sup Randy....from back in the bouncing days. But we're a ways off from the peanut 🥜 shells on the floor at Wando's, or rewatching Roadhouse looking for new moves.

if it wasn't for the shear fact that it is close, I would never go there. service sucks, selection sucks, the management of this store is complete chaos. while I was there, I think they were restocking the shelves which consisted of what seemed like 10 kids pissing around in the store and nothing really getting accomplished. I only stop here if I don't want to drive to a much better store. in the event I set out to go grocery shopping this is not even a thought to go here. between pore service and crazy prices, I will always choose somewhere else.

One of the best experiences at a grocery store ever was in a pickle and with the transaction not working right the manager I assume being new bought all of our groceries and that's amazing had a smile on his face a nice young man we definitely owe the specific store some kind of give back. It's experiences like this in life that make us look at ourselves in the situations we're in and how blessed we really are thank you for humans being humans!

Selection is terrible. Just another grocery store taking advantage of a small town by overpricing their products. Sometimes they have things on "sale" but the item isn't even stocked. Their brand selection sucks, they always happen to have their brand in stocks but not others.

Wonderful upscale grocery. Be aware they do not accept debit cards to pay for lottery tickets, unlike many others. I had some problems with the slippery handicap spot. Plenty of room inside for my four wheeler.

It's clean and they have a few good sales otherwise it's kinda on the expensive side. Added to much of the drug store type of things, so less variety on foods.* UPDATE * So they bought out hometown pharmacy. I thought they might move most of the drugstore items next door and expand on food selection in the store.Nope, they just bought out the competition and built a pharmacy in the store.I miss Bill's meat quality.

I stopped in on a Saturday evening to grab a few items but ended up getting a whole lot more!! The selections in each of the departments are awesome! So many options made it hard to choose! Everyone working was friendly and helpful! I will definitely be stopping back again!

We were in the area and didn't want to drive back to Madison to hit a grocery store. This Hy-Vee was much smaller and with a more limited selection than what we are used to, but that makes sense since Oregon is a smaller town. The store did seem quite understaffed to help on registers or even with people needing assistance at self checkout. We did find everything we were looking for, and the prices were fair.

It has been so nice having Hyvee in Oregon! The store is so much cleaner and everyone is so friendly! I also work there part time and love my employee perks and discounts. Melissa has really made the store run smoothly since she transferred to Oregon and I couldn’t ask for a better manager! Thanks for all you do Melissa!

Lots of choices and competitive with Pick N Save and Walmart. Good sales on produce. I have only shopped at the Hy-Vee in Oregon.

Watch for how they ring sales up. Way too often the sales don’t show up at the register. Happened again today. Pineapples for .99 on Monday special but charged $2.99. They deceive you with 1/2 lb prices for meats typically priced per pound too. Overpriced store. Poor produce quality. Miss Bill’s Food Center who they bought out.

Absolutely love the Oregon Hy-Vee. Whether needing a meal option for lunch or dinner, picking up a forgotten recipe ingredient, or enjoying the vast selection of squishmallows, Hy-Vee always provides a good deal with the easy access to it all. They also look for ways to contribute and support the community through fundraisers and donations as our beloved Bill’s did. The staff is always willing to help you out and make sure you get everything you are looking for. If it’s out of stock they’re willing to help you find another option or make sure to order it right away so you can come back and get it. It’s overall a great place to shop!

Love this location! In doing a bit of research I have come to find out that Hyvee is against the Bioengineering of foods, etc. as well as a great selection of Organic items, some which are not much more expensive, or in some cases, less than standard grown. Nice!

Growing up in Oregon and always going to Bills was a highlight of my week. Once Hyvee took over I was alittle skeptical. After my first visit I was amazed on how they kept it the same but added alot more as well! The fresh produce and meats are amazing and the staff are so welcoming!
