Went there flower shopping. It was a little after 10:00 a.m. and already getting pretty busy. The employees were extremely busy setting up plants for sale. And yet when we asked them a question they were so helpful and encouraging. They were all very knowledgeable on what plants were where and very helpful although they were busy doing something else. Was a wonderful experience!

Whenever I go to this location I find Steve McDonald (Department Supervisor)because he knows his stuff! If you ask where to find something he always knows exactly where to find it! Tools, fittings, etc. Steve is professional, friendly, and will always offer good advice if needed. I always walk out a happy customer!

We purchased carpet through the Onalaska store. The installation was poor (exposed tacks, covered outlet) and as a result another installer had to come back to rectify the issues. Shortly after the install fibers started coming loose leaving a significant bare spot. While I am hoping the store will fix the defective carpet I am still waiting for the store staff to tell me their plan after 3 weeks of emails, and store visits.

Went and bought a portable dolly that was Milwaukee electric tool brand cost 53.00 next day seen same dolly at Walmart for 38.00 wondering why the price hike? Plus the quality of the dolly was not the best. Wheels were wobbly and it was kind of best up.

Recently purchased a washer and dryer from this Home Depot. Jill and Jasmine in appliances were super helpful! I haven't received the appliances yet, but this review is about how helpful and informative the staff was. Jill was great and shared her experience with her different types of washers - Specifically the front load washers and how to address any odor issues with closing the door too soon after a load that traps in the moisture. When there were too many customers, Jill called in backup in the form of Jasmine who did a great job making sure I ordered the matching set I wanted and checked me out quickly and thoroughly. Great customer care and service!

This place is absolutely awful! Not one person knew where items were when I asked them. Run the guy working there wanted to have an argument with me about if you can put the Milwaukee router on a different table. And he said they didn't sell router tables without a router attached. Well guess what yes they do and it says out the box you can use a Milwaukee router with it. So after this I went and reported it to the manager. The manager told me that the guy didn't work there well guess what yes he does he works in the lumber department so isn't that crazy management doesn't even know who is working

Got to Home Depot, asked an associate a question on the light fixture that I was looking at and got a positive answer so I went up to the counter to pay for it and the young lady assisted me in getting my military discount.

Great customer service on making the order right. Our sheetrock got delivered with a damages. The staff did a wonderful job and helped make the order right by redelivering a new stack of sheetrock the next day. Also, the delivery guy who helped us was great!

Customer service in store is wonderful, but they contract with lazy delivery teams who don’t show up and then lie about trying to deliver your appliances. Home Depot should be ashamed and embarrassed.Update: Appliances were finally delivered and everything we ordered had scratches. I’m extremely disappointed.

I was able to identify the item I needed online and verify it was in stock before making the trip into town. The staff were very helpful and accommodating and they are open later than my local hardware store which was a huge deal when trying to fix a water heater in the evening. We had hot water in the morning thanks to Home Depot.

Bunch of clowns work in their shipping and receiving area. How do you loose a tub....twice! Then they lost a shower enclosure! It showed up at the store, then magically disappears. Through the years I have spent less and less here. I just received a $10,000 11% rebate the other day from menards if that tells you how much I spend at these stores.I would suggest menards or your local lumber yard if you can afford that route.If it wasn't for the veterans discount and contractor perks I wouldn't go here.

I didn't see the guys name tag but he saved my sanity. I had a whole ordeal with my car and being locked out. I went to Menards they wanted 35 dollars for one car key, then went to Walmart and they didn't do car keys so I figured last place I would try is home Depot since it was right across from Walmart. I got there and asked if they even do it and how much it would be and he said he didn't know but could try and just that willingness to try is what can make someone's day make a 360. He had a bit of issues with the machine but the banter between him and his coworker was definitely solid. It definitely seemed like they enjoyed being there even though no one wants to actually go to work. I wish I got his name because he definitely deserves a shout out, he could of said I don't know and left it at that or no we don't. He even said I'm willing to try if you are and that was music to my ears. Hopefully he knows how well he's doing and his higher ups do as well.

I needed help with my sink trying to find the right valve for a diy project. Stood around in the aisle for about 5 minutes. No one approached me or asked if I needed help. I sought out help or tried to at least. The kid with the gauges in his ear walked right past me pretending he didnt see me when I know he made eye contact with me and I asked him for help. He went down towards the lumber are and started waving orange flags around. I made my way to the door and Mary stopped and asked if I needed help. I told her I've needed help for 10 minutes and she apologized and said all the plumbing people were usually hard to find because they like to hide in the back. She asked someone over the phone to come help, waited 5 mins and no one came... what the hell kind of store is this. As I was leaving there was 3-4 people sitting near the front desk laughing and talking. What a joke.

Went to Home Depot to purchase a range and microwave. Salesman was very pleasant and helpful. Our purchase was scheduled to be delivered in two weeks. We were told by the salesman and later by email that our old range and microwave must be removed in order to install new range and microwave. The morning of delivery I received an email stating that my order was out for delivery and will be on time so I went ahead and had my old range and microwave removed, as I sold it. 20 minutes prior to delivery the store called and stated that my order would not be delivered that day due to the truck sliding off the driveway at another place and they would have to reschedule. I stated that I already sold and removed my range and microwave and needed something to cook on. The person who informed me of the non delivery stated basically there was nothing that could be done and they only deliver in my area on certain days and she didn't know when it would come. After complaining quite vocally, she would give me a microwave. I then called Home Depots HQ and complained. They stated that my order would be delivered next week and offered me a $50 gift card. The next week came and no delivery because, as HQ customer service informed me, the driver couldn't find my house, even though I live in a city and the driver that delivered the microwave had no problem. They offered my $100 gift certificate for the inconvenience. The following week my range and microwave was finally delivered and installed. Although the men who installed it cut a hole in the bottom of my cabinet to run the cord through with a hammer and screwdriver and left it hanging in the cabinet stating I need to call an electrician to have it plugged in. Apparently they were not qualified to install microwaves because as soon as they left I got my drill and put a hole cutter on it drilled two holes and ran the cord down to the electrical socket and plugged it in. The next day the Home Depot stored called wanting their microwave back. I dropped it off at the store and asked them to check what amount was on my gift card. It was short from the amount I was to have on it by $50. The store did place $50 on my card to equal what I was.given by Home Depots HQ. I will NEVER purchase anything from Home Depot again!! The experience and lack of customer service was horrendous. They just didn't care about inconveniencing me rather then them be inconvenienced. I guess the rule in business that the customer is always correct no longer exists. Go shop at Menards. I have purchased many of product from them and never had a problem with the deliveries. They were always on time. Remember the saying, "BUYER BEWARE " when shopping at Home Depot.

CALEB C at Home Depot, Onalaska, WI, was absolutely amazing! 10 out of 10 for service!He’s also a doppelgänger for a nephew who I love so that helped - personality & looks. ;-)My dad & sister & I came to the store a few months ago (May 2023), to replace yet another back (outside) door knob/lock.My teen son & I had done this probably three other times during the very cold below-zero months in Wisconsin. Each time we went to our other go-to store (not Home Depot - & couldn’t find any employees to help) & chose yet another Schlage lock set, only to end up - once again - having the lock not working & then needing to replace in cold & make a bunch of keys again.This was getting costly & very stressful.So this time it broke (surprisingly) in the summer (May 2023) when my dad went to open back door.He & my sister & mom were only visiting for the day & then driving back out of town a few hours later. So it was time sensitive to get to a store to get a new lock/door knob set for my dad to put in before they left.We tried Home Depot - for a change - because it was closer & still open.We were told Caleb C was the expert on door lock sets. He really was!Wow! He explained to my dad & sis & I how some Schlage ones were not holding up in cold winter months because of their locking mechanism. He showed us a Kwikset one with different locking mechanism that did not have those same issues.So we got the Kwikset one he recommended & my dad was able to put it in before they left late that night! :)What peace of mind and feeling of security!Thank you Caleb C!He was friendly & so knowledgeable & took the time to educate us all about this. He seemed passionate about it even. Very refreshing.I LOVE the Kwikset door knobs/lock set that Caleb recommended! Feels much more steady & solid than the Schlage one we had.And when you pull down on the handle from the inside, it stays locked (unlike the other Schlage ones), so I feel much more secure.This means so very much especially since I’m a single mom & not at all mechanical. ;-)Thank you Caleb C & everyone else at Home Depot for this great experience! Will definitely be shopping here more from now on, especially when we need anything lock set related.

Customer Service by appliances, Guy said he would look in back for a product, never came back after 20 mins. Saw him helping a different person. So we went to Best Buy in and out with new product in 20 mins. Better Deal as well!

I have always had positive experiences shopping at The Home Depot. My last visit was negative in both product quality and customer service. I was purchasing a potted arrangement to place at the cemetery where my husband is buried. Since The Home Depot kept all arrangements outside (it was dark) I trusted the sales associate who said it was one of the freshest. When I got home and unloaded it, I saw that the back and upper branches were dead and needles were falling off. The next day I trimmed branches in the backyard and inserted them into the planter along with a better ribbon, pine cones and berries. Not worth 34.95+!!
