We have boarded our dog at the Onalaska location 3 times now and have had wonderful experiences each time. We currently used the La Crosse location for the 1st time, Onalaska was booked since it was Easter weekend, and we had a great experience with the staff there as well! We add on the daily walk when she is there, we are so thankful that is an option to add on to her stay. She always comes home happy and tired. The staff at both locations have been so friendly and you can tell they treat the dogs as if they were their own. I would definitely recommend Pet Me Scratch Me to anyone looking for boarding, you guys are great!

Our three dogs had been through many changes in three months. We used the day care so they could be with other dogs while we unpacked the moving semi truck. They were well cared for and came home to the smell of their toys. We will be back!

Sammy, my 5 month old cockapoo, goes to daycare at Pet Me Scratch Me. She loves it!The people there show so much love and affection for the dogs. Check-in and check-out is easy and efficient. I am very happy that I found a place that takes good care of Sammy so that I can get a little free time without worrying about her.

Pet me Scratch me made us feel they cared about our dog as much as we did. We dropped off a very energetic puppy with them for almost a week. It was very difficult leaving her for such a long time. I had to call to check on her and the staff very quickly put our mind at ease by giving us details about how her stay was going. When I picked her up after her stay, she smelled great and I almost started to wonder if she missed us or not. I would highly recommend and will continue to board at Pet me Scratch me.

I absolutely love this place and the staff (and so does my dog)! She comes every Sunday and gets greeted with a warm welcome. They inform me about her stay and are always willing to answer question. My pup comes home safe and VERY tired!

This is hard for me as I want to give 5 stars. As a former employee, I can promise that every person there cares for your dog as if they're their own.My Lucy loves Emily, the groomer, and I know Emily ensures it's the least amount stressful it can be.However, my first experience as a customer for daycare was abysmal. I brought Belle in for her first day of daycare and was rushed out the door before I was able to confirm her reservation, bath, and pictures I had selected. I wanted to see her first day of fun with other dogs. When I came to pick her up, they had no idea who I was talking about. At some point my reservation had been canceled without telling me. So, no bath, no pictures, no apology, and I didn't receive the free gift bag you're supposed to get your first day. I'm highly disappointed.Update: I no longer use this company due to their lack of professionalism and atrocious customer service.

I took my dog in for a grooming at the La Crosse Pet me Scratch me. I told her that he wasn't the easiest to groom because of the abuse he suffered before we rescued him. When he was done, he started coughing. Thinking he may have had kennel cough, we took him to the vet. The coughing continued and continues. I called to see if he fell off the table or if something happened while he was being groomed. The gal at the desk told me that the groomer is always with them while they are on the table, and maybe he was stressed. This was two weeks after his appointment. After numerous vet visits, he was diagnosed with tracheal collapse. He is on steroids to help him. I am so angry- words really can't express how angry I am- at whatever happened while he was being groomed. The coughing is so bad and there are times he can't breathe. I will NEVER take him or any of my dogs back to the La Crosse office. NEVER! Do not take your dog there to be groomed. Now, about 6 weeks later, we need to put our dog down due to his collapsed trachea.

Our groomer, Dina Stagman was awesome with our 14 yr old English Springer Spaniel "Rocky". She took the time to find out exactly what we wanted, what Rocky's issues were, and explained everything she was going to do. She was very quick, it only took 1 hour to get him scaved down with his summer haircut. It was great finding a place we could trust out dog with as we are F/T Campground Host volunteering at Fort McCoy and on the road from Arizona. We tried Pet Me Scratch Me when our other Daycare place was closed. I have to say the experience was amazing. One of our dogs has severe anxiety and she had such a great time! When we went to pick up our dogs they gave us two gift bags with progress reports and toys and treats and a photo of them playing, our first day of daycare was even free. You can tell how much the staff really cares for the dogs, we will absolutely be going back!

I took my dog in to get groomed by Emily today and as usual it was amazing. However while chatting in the lobby with Emily about my dog I heard another groomer yelling very aggressively at the dog she was working on. Definitely wouldn't feel safe or comfortable with my dog on her table.

Dina at Pet Me Scratch Me is fantastic! Our 3 dogs look amazing! Dina was attentive and patient when listening to what we were looking for with our dogs grooming. Dina is extremely knowledgeable about grooming and is very experienced! She was helpful with ideas and tips to keep them looking good between groomings too! Dina absolutely wanted to make sure we were happy as well which we really appreciated! We will definitely continue to bring our dogs to see Dina for their grooming! I would never take my Toby to any other place. He has been going there for over a year now. He loves it, we love the fact he is excited to go “see his friends at daycare”! & you couldn’t ask for a more caring staff, they love the animals and you can tell!!!

My friend was dog sitting our 1 year old chocolate lab for us for a long weekend. Coco was able to pass the tolerance test on Thursday and therefore able to spend two days in daycare playing with the other "pups". She had a great time and came home to my friend's home worn out both afternoons. She was happy to return for more playtime the next morning too!! To top off the wonderful experience, we got a great welcome bag full of treats and coupons!!

Pet Me Scratch Me is the first place I go to when I need to board my dog or take him to daycare. The staff is so friendly and kind, and you can tell they really do love the animals. Every time I pick up or drop off my pup, I’m greeted with a smile and a raving review about my dog. Additionally, I like that they will show you where the dogs are kept and where they play for daycare if you ask. It helps me have peace of mind that he’s somewhere clean, comfortable, and homey while I’m away.

I was nervous at first be because this was a new daycare. I was a bit out of when the desk lady said a big bag and then rattled off all these extras? I had no clue? Pottied six times, okay that is good. How i do I find out about the extras? Loved the story idea! Our dogs seemed happy and the staff was responsive! Do you have cameras to watch?

Had my Australian Shepherd groomed here. Dena, the groomer, was awesome! My dog is kind of squirrelly and she handled him with patience and care. When I came to pick up my dog, not only was it reasonably priced, but he looked fabulous! Will definitely be coming back here!

New to the area and had to find a place to watch my dog for a few days. Stood in line without being called up for about 10 minutes. Finally walked up and explained I was looking to board my dog for a few days. The pricing online seemed okay ($45.XX per night)I was then told that it's also $13/ day to have my dog taken out and played with for 30 minutes or $13 or something to have someone sit in the kennel with her for 30 minutes. I've never done dog boarding before, but to hear that blew me away. I'd think the $45 would include a few times a day being let out into a yard. You'd be better off leaving your dog at home for a few days with the TV on and a huge pile of food and water. Really disappointed. This place had great reviews, but they don't seem to be for the boaring portion. Thankfully, Rover seemed to be a more feasible option.Granted, they had some solid deals on the treats on food as well as the grooming portion so I'll give them that much.

Jamie did a really nice job grooming my Teddy Bear.I especially appreciated the way she trimmed her nails.Tipper was very shaggy when I brought her in and she had to be clipped very short.The only thing I would have done differently was the ears were left too long given the body length. An easy fix.Thanks Jamie

We have a very high anxiety dog and we were welcomed with open arms!! We got a tour of the facilities, we were allowed to visit multiple times prior to boarding so our pooch could get familiarized with smells, sounds and staff. It was a relief knowing our pooch was in such great hands!!

My groomer was Emily, who is great with tougher dogs! My dog never let's anyone near her nails and she was able to get those done without issue.

Deena did a great job cleaning up our rescue dog. It was his first visit to a groomer and she patiently worked with him to overcome his anxiety. He looks fantastic and all the matted fur is gone. Best of all, he seems pretty comfortable with the whole process due to her patient approach with him. It turned something we were all a bit nervous about into a great experience for everyone.

Dina is an incredible groomer who really cares about her clients and their furry pets. My mom has been taking her dog up to Pet Me Scratch Me for years and when I adopted my own dog, Dina was my first choice. The staff I have interacted with have always been kind, warm and very respectful.My family and I enjoy bringing our animals up to Pet Me Scratch Me because we know they are in very good hands!
