I live nearby and went to do my spring gardening shopping. I was pleasantly surprised to get all that I needed. The store is well organized and clean.I needed something urgently while working on a project so I just ordered it for same day delivery. I was very impressed. Great store. I love the selection and mail in rebates. Only complaint is it is hard to get someone to help you at times if you are struggling to find something.

I don’t need to see an employee dress in drag. A man dressing as a woman working in the store is beyond repulsive! When he is in your uniform he is your image. I am supposed to ask a guy for product information and he doesn’t even know what bathroom to use! Go woke go broke.

Never ever again will I buy a menards pole barn kit. I was shorted 52 feet on steel. Post are crooked and all I got told was its not there problem. I will never set foot in a Menards again.

The sales associates were knowledgeable and friendly and the quality of the cabinets met our expectations. What was dissatisfy is the hickory wood grain we received did not match the displays in both Winona and Onalaska showrooms. As you can see in the photos, some of the hickory is pure white which actually looks like pine. There's no design consistency in this product so I would caution against purchasing their wood grain cabinetry or be sure this is the look you would like to have in your home before purchasing. We would have not have gone this route had the showrooms accurately represented the delivered product.Menards did offer replacement panels but unfortunately, the pattern variations in the replacements include white pieces no different than the originals and they simply look out of place.

We ordered materials for a new deck using the kiosk with the assistance of an employee who was/is fantastic. We had everything planned out on the computer exactly the way we wanted it. The computer generated the materials necessary, and we paid. Once we received the materials, however, is when everything went south and continues to this day. We received 20ft planks vice the 16ft planks we required, meaning 4ft of excess had to be removed. 20ft planks are also about $30 more per plank than 16ft so times that by the 36 planks we received and it's ~$1,000 worth of excess. We didn't need 36 planks, we needed 40, which we didn't realize we needed until after the build began, especially when the builders were cutting off all the excess. So now our deck is 4 deck boards short of completion. Menards did reimburse us for the difference of the two sizes. We special order the 4 planks (16ft) and correct length and amount of stair risers (the stair riser quantities varied depending on who at the desk we spoke with) the following day. We were told it would be about 2 weeks to receive them. A week and half go by, and we are told the order is in. Finally we can finish this project especially since we have dogs that use it as a launch pad but are too small to jump back up, so we have to continuously hop down ourselves to get them back up which as a disabled vet, is not the easiest to do. We got a text later that same day were in that the boards were severely damaged and would have to be reordered. One week later, today, we get another text saying the boards will be here in approximately 2 weeks...nearly 3 weeks after we re-ordered. We have old decking material in our yard to be removed when the builders come back to finish the deck, we have railing materials still piled up in our yard, which looks like it's a construction zone, we had to purchase stairs for our dogs to go up and down the deck since we can't install the stairs without the correct risers. Never again will we buy building materials or really much of anything from this store. I'll gladly take the 10% military discount (not rebate) from Home Depot, travel a few extra miles to get better materials, goods, and service.

We visit this store for remodeling often. This visit was for a storage cabinet that I like. Went to the section, color we wanted, gone. Looked for help. Found a part time, very courteous and helpful, emplyee. Looked online, and 2 were in stock. Followed helper around store and upstairs. Not that color was found. We waited while he checked on something. While standing there, not one other employee that looked, and walked by us, asked if we needed help. Hmm?Anyway, ending of story...inventory issue here. Had to drive to other location across city. Yes! Cabinet was there! Happy shopper, but irritated in inventory scavenger hunt.

When they lock the lawn and garden doors (in August), they should put out a Closed sign you can see from the parking lot. That little sign on the glass might as well be an ad for Home Depot.

Great prices, decent selection. In store employees were helpful.Would have been nice if yard workers would have offered to show us where items were ( pointed in a general direction) and help instead of sitting on forklifts and chatting amongst themselves. Had to go find one to get product down.

Did online order and picked up and worked great. 10-15 minutes with building materials to grab in the yard. Way better than the hour or more to go in and look for all of the stuff.

Found the exact specialty light bulb that I needed in under 5 minutes. And on the way to check out got some good deals on fireworks for my kids. Kids 7 and under and 17 plus. For under $25 we had a great time! Thank you Menards

Everyone from lighting to hardware, plumbing and paint and so many others have been incredible! I have to give a shout-out to Nolan, Nikki, Alexandria in paint who have helped us so much with so many projects! The entire paint department are so amazing with helping us paint our entire exterior with their paint gun. Our home looks amazing inside and out. Manager acts like a 5 year old. Just because his wife makes him sleep on the couch he yells at a bunch of kid’s doing nothing wrong. Guys needs to get some meds before he goes to jail for beating someone. We got verbally abused for looking for something to buy and kicked out. Best bet is to go to home depot. Screw menards

Today was my 2nd trip to menards in 2 days. Both days at least 2 young men were behind the building where I was at loading up my wood chips and block. Neither day did I get any help! Lazy employees. Great customer service? Milk that time clock

After 4 phone calls and 20 minutes I still did not get someone on the phone that could answer my questions. Menards used to have top notch customer service this is not my first major disappointment in the last year. It is unfortunate that there is no such thing as k owing your job, working it hard and taking care of your customers anymore. As a retail employee I am embarrassed by the lack of customer service I see these days!

Bought a refrigerator December 24 for delivery Jan 7. No Show, No Call, still have not placed the order for delivery after I had to call them today. Good thing my old refrigerator still works…barely. They told me no problem for Jan. 7th now it’s “uhhh ummm, ahhh, I don’t know. We haven’t shipped it here yet”. Well when are you going to ship it. “I don’t know”. Thanks for nothing.

Yard staff is lazy and rude to customers. When trying to find a product in the yard all the employees would say is it over there and not show where the product is. I'd be better off going anywhere else than this store

I have been a Menards customer for over 20 years and now disappointed with them I let the mask thing go but not happy. But now I bought a pressure washer from them and didn't even make it a week and is now not working. I took it back there because I wanted one that was not broken already and they told me I had to take it to a repair facility because it has gas in it. This does not get my job done and money lost and time down while I wait for it to get fixed. So if I put gas in it and never would start so would be in same position. So will not recommend you or buy there again. And will advertise for you on how great your service is. So going to buy another one from home depot and get ridof this one

Returned and item and I got refunded right away so I figured it was all done with and my boyfriend threw the receipt away. However a few days later they charged my debit card for it again. Called to ask what was up and they wouldn’t even help me without the sku number for the item. The front end manager told me she was going to ask for help and give me a call back in the afternoon. Never got a call back, or my money back and they have the item, so now I’m out almost $80.00. Won’t ever be going back.
