It states the hours are from 8 to 9 PM. The doors are locked. Nobody to be seen. Customers are walking up one after the other. Why? And you can never get to anyone at the corporate office. Why? They do not want the customers to talk to anyone with a say in anything. Like many other companies that have poor customer service. Well I guess I will take my money to the next store. The police have come out to the store to check things out. Onalaska Wisconsin USA. Let me guess it has to do with Covid? Or there is a shortage of people. Where did yet all go? Clean your parking lot as well.

Google says it opens at 8. I showed up and the window says hours are open at 9. This should be updated on Google. The store was also trashed and most shelves were empty. Disgusting place. I'll never walk into that store again.

It's ok, I have been to stores with nicer items, but this one has almost anything you need. It's hard to find nice items, but at least there is a wide variety. It's a pretty busy store, so check best times to go.

Customer service sucked! A cashier act like she was mad because she had to come out of cashier and help. I had six bottles of heavy lemonade she put them three in a bag and then didn't double bag them on top of it and as everybody knows Dollar tree has cheap bags that fall apart very easily. I will not ever walk into this Dollar tree again I'm very disappointed!

I've seen/heard a lot of 'tension' with the store associates. Some remarks about a customer, but mostly about someone on staff. If the store associates that 'dis' an employee feel that they have legit reasons for doing so, then what about the customer who feels that they are not treated as a customer?? Customers keep the Dollar Tree (and other businesses) thriving plus a paycheck in your pocket. I've never met the manager but, this Onalaska Dollar Tree needs to take care of certain issues and not take it out on an undeserving customer.

Customer Service......is something of the past. I like shopping at dollar-type stores, however, cashiers these days are drama-filled. They stereotype a customer and then treat the customer with disdain. If you politely want to show an error on your receipt, they make you look stupid and not correct the error. Both, the Onalaska Dollar Tree and the La Crosse Dollar Tree need to get ethical and mindful cashiers that know what real customer service is. These DT cashiers know which customer won't take their nonsense, and that is who the cashiers are nice to. Otherwise, these cashiers want to start something at these two locations. Take care of the drama in your home, and come to work with a clean slate.

It's no longer the dollar tree as the prices have gone up to 1.25 per item. I spent more than I expected but got some cute items for our little one. They had a great selection of books to read to babies and educational materials for teaching your toddler. I geeked out and got way more than I intended but was very happy with the selection. I'm sure I'll be going back to get some art supplies later on.

Wonderful little store. Well stocked, great personnel, nice shopping experience. Decent location, and everything is still a low price per item! Discount items are still available on the a special rack. Holidays are well represented at this store. Some things are 2 for 1$! Need a card? Trying to get snacks to get you through the day? There are some choice cooler and frozen options, as well as shelf items for the pantry. Laundry room stock-up, basket, detergent, dryer sheets. Office supplies, gift bags & baskets. Bathroom decoration, candles. Soap, shampoo, deodorant, makeup brushes, toothpaste, toothbrush, floss, almost every thing you need or want! You may just have a great shopping time, at the Dollar Tree!

Awful experience. I showed up right before 9 after doing errands at wal mart. Walked up to the door at 9 which states when they open. Waited. Waited…. Waited…. At least 5 other cars in the parking lot. I finally got fed up after almost 15 minutes so I went back to my car and could see an employee sitting in her car so I asked her and she said the opening manager is not here yet. Ok. Right at the point I saw a car with another employee pull up so I waited. She unlocked the door. We waited a few minutes and walked in, and all I could hear was that “opening manager” talking about how she hasn’t even had a cigarette yet and it took her an hour and a half to walk from the bathroom to whatever she was talking about. I was looking at the balloons and the other employee said kinda rudely that we’re out of helium. K cool I waited that long for literally nothing. I won’t utilize this dollar tree again. Trash and rude

LOW SCORE ONLY FOR MANAGER!!I want to make it very clear that the employee that checked me out was great and the store itself was fine, it was just the manager that made this a bad experience!After being called to the front to help with checking out the line of people who had all walked up at about the same time (the employee who was on their own up front went from having one customer to five in about ten seconds), not only did the manager take another three minutes to come up to the front but then proceeded to loudly chastize the employee infront of the rest of us before even making a move towards checking anyone out! And then after being called out by /a customer/ for being rude he proceeded to tell us that, no, he was doing his job as manager and correcting a problem. The customer said that that should be done in an office and not in front of the customers and he said something back about not having an office.He was incredibly rude and made the whole experience incredibly uncomfortable and I felt awful for the people who have to work under him. At no point is the job of a manager to be rude, disrespectful, and inconsiderate of both the customers and the employees. It was quite frankly, gross.

I usually find everything I need at Dollar Tree, with the exception of one category: containers. I'm talking about plastic bins and baskets. They are always almost out of everything. They never have much of a supply to choose from. The shelves are always empty, picked through our not stocked. It's too bad because I think they'd made a lot of money if they stayed stocked. Everything else was good. The wait to check out was short, I found what I needed, and the store was clean and orderly.

Specifically in this store today an employee with a robust complexion and light brown hair overcharged me.$ 3 is not my problem. But it bothers me that people want to be smart by confusing with numbers. And even if that weren't enough to serve the customer badly. I should have called the manager but I don't know if it would have made a difference. I don't think I'm the first and the last to be employed steals. So stay tuned. I hope my comment helps someone.

It was a pleaent experience. The employees were very nice and helpful! Almost found everything I was looking for. What I didn't find was the pokemon playing cards. They have them at the La Crosse Dollar Tree not in Onalaska. Almost everything is $1.25 now!!!

Great as always. The staff is friendly and helpful. The selection of offerings is tremendous. The store is well kept. The bathroom is clean and pleasant smelling. Over a nice place to get things at a low cost.

manger was extremely rude to me over 3+ times. Accused me of stealing when i put my phone in my pocket. didn’t let my family in when there was still 15 minutes to close. also the store hours on here and at the store show different times. Might wanna thx that... Manager is a joke

As ALWAYS, it was GREAT. They helped me with finding a product my friend asked me to get, but it wasn't exactly what she wanted. The ONLY problem is I ALWAYS find TOO many OTHER things to buy!!! (HA Ha ha)!!! !! !

Half of the lights in the store flicker. Made me so nauseous and dizzy, I had to leave. I asked an associate about it. She said they put in requests to have them fixed and nobody comes. Let me know when they're fixed and I'll be back to shop again and edit my review based on my next experience.

Neat, clean, well stocked with a strong variety to choose from. Friendly helpful staff. Would shop here again. Located across from a Wal-Mart... Cheaper and much more convenient. Beats the big box every time.

A clean, friendly place with a lot of stuff that you would be surprised to find at a dollar store. Little figurines, tablecloths, books, electric items, picture frames, lawn and garden supplies, food items, drinks, candy, it's all there. You can get movies and popcorn for a family night in for less than 5 bucks.
