Why is there no action to all the one star reviews? This is the rudest most unprofessional staff on the planet. Absolutely disgusting. 🤢. This demands attention. This is a negative 5 star review and I will be taking this further. Perhaps corporate headquarters should be notified about this establishment. Their treatment of customers needs to be addressed immediately. The pharmacy tech that displayed her middle finger and thought I didn’t see it…well…enjoy.

AJ was a great pharmacist. He helped me fill my son’s prescriptions in minutes , Counseled me and answered any questions I had regarding my 6 month old medication. His positive attitude and politeness were off the chart. Thank you for being an amazing pharmacist.

Doctor prescribed medication three weeks ago and am unable to get straight answers from people at this location seems like stories are constantly changing even though I have been there for years as a customer I am beginning to believe what others say about the store. Always defended them but now I just stay quiet and discouraged with the type of service they give. Nothing quality about it when they keep changing their stories.

Well, I tried again and nothing has changed. I waited over an hour in the drive through for 1 medication. There were TWO cars ahead of me. I have also tried to refill my sons medication and the last year they reject the refill request, dont give a courtesy call why and when I call to inquire (because he needs his medication), they say they dont have it and dont know when they will. Extremely rude. Today was my last straw. I will NEVER go back here. I hope they continue to lose business and corporate starts opening their eyes at how awful the people and service is.

Absolutely rudest counter staff today at 1pm. They were extremely unprofessional and rude when I attempted to make a deposit. I have never had an issue at any other Walgreens ; they need to consider new staffing changes.

I picked up some prescription recently and was taken care of by a pharmacist by the name of AJ. He is one of the best pharmacist that Oconomowoc has had in a long time. He definitely has excellent customer service experience. I am hoping to see him at this location a whole lot more in the evenings. He answered all my questions. He has a beautiful personality and is very caring to his customers.This was the First time in a long time I was ever treated this well by thd pharmacy department.

We moved to Summit four years ago and love our Walgreens on the corner of Summit and Thackeray Trail!!!The pharmacy is great and the customer service whether it’s photos looking for finger splints, or buying candy on sale, we find them to be very helpful and go out of their way for us. Thank you!

The manager is one of the rudest women I've ever encountered. I couldn't believe she was the manager the way she treated those of us waiting in line for 20 mins to check out. She had 3 checkout people but only one register operating. Even though she was asked several times to open a second one. District manager never responded when I tried to make he/she aware of this problem. They are either dating or related.

What genius thought it would be a good idea to combine the check outs with the photo department AND the Fed Ex shipping center. This doesn't work as you stand in line holding your packages, waiting forever. When you finally reach the check outs, there is no place for them to put your packages. They just pile them on the floor behind the register. I waited in line 10+ minutes just to drop off a pre-labeled package to ship out. Everyone in line was disgusted with this "new design" nightmare. Just dumb.

I’d do zero stars if I could. Doctor sent in a rush prescription for my son’s ear infection. They told me they couldn’t fill it for an hour plus considering other pharmacies can fill it right away. I’ll take my business elsewhere moving forward especially involving my children. Get bent.

I have never experienced such rude, unprofessional staff at any other Walgreens! Asked to talk to a Manager and was hung upon, then when I finally got to a manager, she told me they are busy.. people need medications filled, if you are not going to fill them communication is key.. when I said I would call back tomorrow to talk to the “Store Manager” and let that person know how rude she was to me, she said she would say I am rude and hung up on me..

I've been a customer at this pharmacy for over a year, and I've never encountered any issues. The staff is incredibly friendly, hardworking, and always helpful with any questions or concerns. I don't understand the negative reviews; my experience here has been exceptional.

I don't think I have ever had a positive experience at this location. Employees are rude, slow, and there are never enough employees. They can't even manage to send me a prescription to my home when I ask for it. The girl on the phone that I spoke to insisted that I needed to request my medicine online for delivery, which is not true. I asked for a supervisor and she would not transfer me or even respond. Very typical for this type of service.

This pharmacy and the people that staff it are beyond unacceptable. I went in to fill an antibiotic prescription for my infant child with a serve infection. I stood at the window for 20 minutes without being acknowledged or offered any kind of assistance. The actual pharmacist was busy being extremely rude on the phone to a customer that had a question about their medication. Finally I left to go to another Walgreens, their pharmacy had closed at 8PM. The store was open but no pharmacist was working. I learned that from Google and didn’t see a single employee working in that store, including the register. Thanks for sending me home empty handed Walgreens.Here’s a couple of pro tips for corporate: If you want to run all the small pharmacies out of business then staff your stores with an adequate number of employees. I imagine this will take a bit of time, so in the interim you should hand out lawn chairs up front so your customers could at least have somewhere semi comfortable to sit while they’re waiting for assistance from your staff. 0/5 stars.I’m beyond grateful to use a local pharmacy with pleasant, knowledgeable employees that actually want to help me.

Every single review on here for this Walgreen's location/pharmacy is 1-star for a reason. You will likely wait 30 minutes or longer regardless of how you try to pick up your prescription at this location. The drive thru will allow one car to sit at the window for 30+ minutes while numerous cars sit behind them, and while there are signs that are tipped over and are sitting in the other drive thru lane (preventing people from using the second lane). How it is even legal to create a traffic jam like this is beyond me. What would happen if someone had a health emergency and they were parked in by cars in front and back of them? If someone were to die while waiting in line, would Walgreen's be responsible? Either have them mail your prescriptions to your home, which requires more planning to ensure you get them on time, or have your prescriptions filled anywhere other than this place. It is the absolute slowest pharmacy location on the face of the Earth. The people are nice enough, but this has been the situation at this location for years, and there's absolutely no sign of things improving. Today was my last attempt at having a prescription filled here. I'm transferring all future refills to a local hospital that has no issues filling and distributing prescriptions in a reasonable amount if time. Hard to believe tat this is considered acceptable by whomever runs this location.

Update: in the last 6 months there have been a lot of improvements at this location. They’ve been more responsive and willing to help if needed. Keep up the great work. The worst Walgreens I have ever been too. Every prescription has something wrong or missing or they won’t look at the comments from the Dr. as something meaningful. I’ve had to wait days for name brand prescriptions, they have messed up amounts. My son was wheezing, and he was prescribed albuterol, they wouldn’t give us the extender mask without a prescription and told us they faxed the request back over and wait until morning. How do you want me to get an 8 month old an inhaler without one of those things? Very disappointed and will never fill another prescription here again.

Done shopping at any Walgreens. Such a scam now this digital coupon. Need to take all these steps instead of marking down and honoring the price that displays. Better read the fine print now. Ever since they changed their ways a few years back they have gone downhill. Just a way for them to make it more difficult for consumers to save money. I don’t even know why I bother to shop here and have rewards with them.

Second star only because the pharmacy is open 24 hrs & you can drop off old meds (things the local branch doesn't dictate). This is not the only drive thru pharmacy in Oconomowoc FYI, just look across the street.Two weeks ago I had a complaint and the pharmacist called the manager. I thought I was going to talk to her but she simply spoke to the pharmacist and walked away. Customer service?And on 4/18/18 I was told they do not offer blood pressure measurements despite what their website says. It was suggested I go to Wal-Mart. Good idea.

I moved to the area in November since then I have needed medication to be filled at this pharmacy 3 x's (December, January and now February). In December they said they did not have any of my medication and it would take at least 7-10 to order it, I had just gotten out of the ER and it was an emergency necessity, in short... my mother had to drive 80 miles one way to get my medication at another location because I couldn't drive. In January, they only need an 30 mins to fill my medication, when I picked it up it was filled with the generic though the prescription stated it's medically necessary for to fill with the name brand (they hadn't read the whole prescription is what I was told), it took less than 5 mins for them to fill it with the correct medication.Now, it is Wednesday and I went 2 days ago (Monday) to order my refill of the same medication, I was told it would be ready Tuesday and that it was due to needing to order it (which they said they put in the order that day). Today, Wednesday, I went to get it and another prescription and the lady at the drive-thru ignored me for the first 5 mins I was in front of her (along with 3 other techs who saw me that walked past the window and looked at me waiting). When she asked what I was there for, I told her I had 2 prescriptions I was picking up. She first said, " we haven't heard back from the doctors office". I asked her which medication was she referring to, and the one she was referring to is the one I told them I didn't need by today. So, she checked the other one, didn't say a word, and walked off to the back. When she came back she said she just ordered it for tomorrow. I said I was told the same thing on Monday, and asked to speak to the Phamacist. I explained to the Pharmacist and asked what what was going on, she told me that they just manually ordered it so it could be tomorrow or a few days. When I told her that I never had these issues at any other Walgreens, she said I should have called a week before I needed it. My insurance won't fill it that soon and I never had this issue at other locations, so I asked her if they even ordered it on Monday. Without even checking she immediately said "it automatically orders it when it's out of stock, but the supplier didn't send it so we just manually ordered it today". I needed this medication today, and the last time I was out for 2 days, I ended up in the E.R. and suffered a brain injury due to a fall during a seizure! This blatant disregard for accountability on this Pharmacies ability to do their job correctly is unacceptable and ridiculously unprofessional!!!Every time I have been to this location I had nothing but problems, and since they always seem to 5-10 people working at once in the Pharmacy.. I don't know how they can go around blaming customers and their suppliers for 'their' lack of competence and accountability.The Pharmacist told me they are a franchise store (she even tried to convince me that all Walgreens stores are franchises - which I know for a fact is false cause my old location was a corporate owned store).I do not think this location is reliable, transparent, or honest, and they don't always treat their customers with respect where accountability is concerned.

If I would be able to give them 0 stars I would. The only reason they deserve 1 star is because of the manager I talked to after the situation occurred. I went to the pharmacy this morning to pick up my prescription. There was another customer in front of me that was trying to figure out if her medication would be covered under insurance or good RX. There was another technician standing in the back not even filling prescriptions or doing anything just looking off into the distance. There was also the pharmacist standing there picking their nose with a Kleenex. I then proceeded to ask if someone would be able to help me since there was another technician standing there doing what seemed to be nothing because I needed to get to school. The technician that was helping the customer in front of me proceeded to start yelling and getting a terrible attitude with me that because my poor time management is not an emergency. The funny part about this situation is that this employee does NOT know one thing that is happening in my life. I have been balancing two jobs, graduate school, and tending to a sick family member everyday. This was my only 20 minutes I was able to pick up my medication considering I was out and didn't even take it this morning. The customer she was helping was kind enough to let me go in front of her. This technician who didn't even have her name tag showing continued to lecture me that the pharmacist does NOT sell medication and that they were not just standing around. They may not have been just standing around but they need to communicate that with their customers because that is what it looked like. I work in a pharmacy and also go to a pharmacy to pick up medications for family members and there has been dozens of times a pharmacist will sell me the medication I am picking up. It is not unheard of that the pharmacist will jump in to help. I asked this employee why she was being so mean to me and she just kept yelling that my situation is no emergency. I hope this employee is fired or at bare minimum talked to. I would like an apology because you don't know what someone is going through so DO NOT assume you are the smartest one in the room.

Can’t call to check on prescriptions because their phone system times out and hangs up after 15 minutes. Went there in person and waited 20 minutes for an employee to make eye contact. Prescription not ready after 8 hours. When I questioned how that was possible the pharmacist stated he was swamped and was working alone. He kindly expedited it. They are simply understaffed. Nice enough but understaffed. This post Covid economy is no joke.

Three times bad experiences with this pharmacy. They never give you the entire prescription just partial or sometimes they say it’s the entire prescription when really you’re missing a few pills. They need to step it up and make sure they are providing good service because people just waste their time and energy by picking up meds in this pharmacy only to come home with half the bottle or less.

Nothing about Walgreens works. The app fails and gives false alerts. The virtual operator is a liar . Manually visiting 3, 4, 5 times is the only way to execute a refill at the corner of disfunction and failure.

This has to be one of the worst functioning Walgreens. Most wait times to get through 3-4 cars in the drive thru is 30-40 minutes. Inside at the counter is no better. They have 4 check outs but rarely have more than 1-2 people taking care of guests.

We went to this Walgreens around 9pm September 15th 2022, and the two individuals working the cash registers (one older female, and one younger gentleman) performed the best customer service. I regret not getting their names but went out of their way to help the young lady in front of us and then the politeness towards my party was the best I have seen in a long time! Thank you very much to these individuals!

This Walgreens is notoriously slow, particularly in the pharmacy. Today I was in the drive through line for 45 minutes. I opted for this pick up option because last time I went inside I stood in the queue for 30+ minutes. The prescription was sent through yesterday and wasn’t ready until this morning when I was already at work. I almost missed a time sensitive medication due to a delay in filling the script in addition to the 45 minute wait time at pick it up. I have no issue with the friendliness/helpful nature of staff but the pharmacy delays have been a consistent issue that have only been exacerbated by the pandemic. I can only hope things get better in the future.
