I only take my moms dogs here for baths and nail trims. One of them has been diagnosed with epilepsy, we have made it aware to them and they are very understanding. Today we had an appointment to get both of them bathed, unfortunately right before their appointment Murphy seized outside the grooming door. All the staff was attentive, informative, understanding and empathetic. Even before this incident we always had such amazing service from the staff. I cannot say enough amazing things about this locations grooming department. Other petco locations haven’t been great (they seem not to care about the pets or even you), but this location i recommended to anyone. They care so much about the animals they work on and you. I cannot wait to continue getting grooming services done here.

One of the better Petco’s when it comes to betta fish! Their bettas are usually in good condition and in clean cups. They also will discount the fish that have been there a long time for a fast sale which is great. 4 stars because Petco as a corporation could do so much better with their betta fish but they choose not too. I appreciate the employees at this location for doing the best they can.

Petco: This is a nice mid-sized pet store. It does not offer as much of a selection as Pet World, but the prices are fair and it offers all the basics (fish, hamsters, lizards, pet food, toys, cages, numerous accessories) plus some grooming services. I’ve had mixed service with some staff going as far as to recognize me even though I only shop there once a month and other times where I have to wait for several minutes to be attended to. Depending on your needs it’s worth checking out.

I love the convenience of shopping at Petco. I would have given a higher score but there isn't a wide variety of bird toys and enrichment items. Also, More big cages should be in the store. I do love the birds we bought at Petco and they have improved my quality of life. I want to give them more fun things to do.

If I could give no stars I would. I took my girl there for grooming off of a friends recommendation., what a mistake . She looks terrible! They did not trim her nails, I called and asked about it and I was told she nipped at them . This dog has been groomed since she was 10 weeks old, she has NEVER nipped at anyone. Amber told me to bring her in Friday, between 3 and 330 and she would try again, I figured i would discuss the choppiness and weird parts of her hair sticking up at that point. Got there at quarter after three and she wasnt even there ! I left work early to get there. Wow!!!! Asked to speak to a manager , he could have cared less. You certainly charged me the full amount for the groom, you did a bad job, you skipped her nails and then arent even there when I came back ? PETCO , great customer service , is this how you run your business? I left and went straight to another groomer who clipped her nails 1,2,3, my dog never even blinked an eye. I will never be back.

I went there to get fancy feast salmon appetizers and they were sold out. They have been sold out for a week now. I also went there to get some toys and outfits for my cat but didn’t see any.

Im the dog training mentor for this district.I see doggos every day and treat them each with love and respect, as should all of our employees! If you need training or just some love for your pup, Oak Creek Petco is the place to be.Best pet store around... But I'm bias, soooooo. :)

Their grooming services are extremely terrible, and so is their customer service. I took my little pup to Lyric G for his grooming and she would always leave him super choppy, uneven, wouldn’t ever bathe him and never trimmed his nails. I did let this slide twice up until I mentioned to her I’ve noticed she’s been charging me full price for his grooming but isn’t actually doing everything that is included with the grooming and is also not cutting his hair evenly (keep in mind I always tipped generously all these times out of niceness). After that, I took him back one more time thinking she’d take all of this into consideration, and my little 6 lb pup was extremely scared to even be left there. He kept clawing at my pants to take him with me as I was leaving (my pup literally gets super excited around anyone) so for him to be acting like this was extremely out of the ordinary. I would not recommend this location for grooming services, nor would I recommend Lyric G as a groomer. I also tried to speak to their lead about this who goes by the name Jenna but she was extremely rude and didn’t care to hear me. I ended up calling the corporate number and they were extremely upset with the service this store has provided me and offered me a refund for my last two services. I’ve uploaded a picture of how unevenly the groomer would cut my pups hair. I also have left a picture of what I asked for each time I went trying to give her a chance to correct her mistakes out of the goodness of my heart but she did not care to take any of this into consideration and handled my dog terribly. Next step is for me to call back and talk to the actual store manager to get these refunds issued to me, and will also make sure to mention all of this to him as well hoping he is able to change how they provide services to their pets and customers.

Took both of my dogs for the $25 grooming special they had for teeth cleaning, ear clean, 15 min. hair brush, nail trim, etc. she had my first dog for 5 minutes and told me she was finished and only charged me $12 for a nail cut. I told her I was confused I wanted the whole package she told me she did give my dog the whole package but did not charge me…. Literally lied to my face and told me she cleaned my dogs ears and etc. She did not do anything but cut my dogs front paws and told me my dog would not allow her to cut my dogs back feet but I could bring her back another day… again she had my dog less than 5 minutes she didn’t have any patience to even try my dogs back paws it seemed. Then I bring my other dog inside and verified that the groomer would give him the whole package, she said yes. 5 minutes later she brings my dog bag and said I was good to go… again only charged me $12 for a nail trim and did nothing else even after I verified that they would brush my dog and give him the whole package deal. My 2nd dog is a great pryanees with 4 dew claws on his back paws the groomer did not clip those either or brush him at all which is what I really wanted. So I basically drove all the way there for my dogs to get their front paws done for $37…… (with tip and tax) highly unimpressed and won’t be back. I feel as thought I should get a refund

On 7/3/23 my dog Olive was a bit nervous due to all the commotion. However two kind workers accommodated to me and my pup. They let us come back later in the day to get groomed. They even took the time to get my pup comfortable with them beforehand. By the end of it she could take off like a helicopter. She was beyond happy and so was I. Amazing customer service. We will be back!!

This pet store chain will never close down as long as people continue to pay these high prices even for needed products.I am grateful the needed products were available but 'ouch'....crazy prices. Thank goodness I have a 6lb dog and not a 60lb dog which would use more product. Reduce your prices and I bet u will sell more products.

My dog is very timid and scared of a lot of things, and the stylus at Petco are always very gentle and patient with him. I saw the stylus very gently impatiently, coax him onto the table to get his nails clipped and not be forceful at all. He came back, nice and clean and not at all upset.

I went to the petco in oak creek on 8/31. I am there a lot as I get crickets, supplies, and and food for my toad and hamster regularly. The guy was GREAT getting the crickets for me, But the check out experience yesterday with a young female upset me to no end. She tried selling me another membership for my toad, I politely declined as I already have one I do not want another charge for an extra 10$ a month. I finish cashing out my crickets, and asked if I can have a bag for these crickets so my 5 year old didn’t get scared of them hopping around. She tells me with a huge attitude, “next time it’s 10 cents”! Excuse me ?! Did I not just purchase from you!? I’m there every week now for my toad, and that’s what I get with her horrible attitude! I did not get her name but I’m sure it’s there from my purchase yesterday of crickets. I normally do not do stuff like this, but she really upset me as she got an attitude from me not purchasing another 10 $ a month vital membership.

Went in to pick up my online order. Quick in and out. But they never fulfill my whole order. It shows online that they have it, and then they always have to cancel items. It sucks if you try to use a coupon on your order.

Michael and Kyle were fantastic! I’ve always had a great customer service here however, today was just exceptional. I placed a same-day order and DoorDash instead of delivering dog food they delivered rabbit bedding for a cage. Can’t really feed that to my dog lol they made sure that they were able to get me my products right away, and they made the exchange flawless and easy for me. Thanks guys really appreciate your help!

Today was my pups 1st bath in a while at this grooming salon. The staff that was working in the grooming salon showed so much care and compassion for her. Not only did everyone run to my aid when my dog slipped out of her harness to get away, but once inside they ensured that they did everything they could to make sure she was comfortable. She is a very happy clean girl! Two paws up for Morgan and Beth! River will most def be coming back to them for any grooming services that are needed!

Booked appointments weeks ago for grooming (have been prior clients) upon arrival told “ they don’t see dogs 13 and up with/without health concerns.Would have been nice to be told this at booking not when the dog is due and now scramble to find another groomer.Then I had my other dog take the appointment instead - she came with me to buy toys. Priority was nail trim. They said she was biting so they didn’t do it. I called the oak creek vet across the street and they took her in 5 min of leaving Petco. Trimmed her nails in 5 min and said she was very nice. She’s never been a biter ever so what was going on at petco?

I had the best experience at Petco when my boyfriend and I shopped for our new puppy. We never had a dog before so we were pretty lost and we want to give the dog the best home. We came in and asked the store employees and they were so helpful, funny and nice! We asked them a million questions and each one was answered fully and in depth. Leon especially helped us and gave us 100% of his attention and talked to us for a good amount of time answering our questions and concerns. He gave us great advice and helpful tips for our puppy. He made sure we had everything and was so kind about it!

Staff don’t seem to talk among themselves. One staff would say one thing and the other staff would say something else.Watch out for their fish return policy - I was told while buying that they would cover for any dead fish within 30 days. All I was had to do is to get a sample of aquarium water so they can test and recommend necessary action. I specifically asked the lady - do I need to bring the dead fish? She said no, they trust their customers and bringing dead fish would anyway be gross. Well, a week later a couple of fishes did die. I have a set aquarium with other fishes thriving for months and not all of the fished from my last purchase died anyway. So I thought of trying to claim the warranty and get the aquarium water tested as well. Well, “the new GM” said he was in charge now and he wants to see the dead fish. Told him about what I was promised and I could show him a picture of my aquarium with old and remaining fishes from my last purchase. He said rudely that he wasn’t concerned about how the business was done earlier, he was incharge now and he needs to see dead fishes. I was shocked at his behavior. Never had such a bad experience in the past.Same store - used to have nice behaving staffs who would work with you, coach you on what could work and what to avoid, but this guy’s behavior?! That too just for a few bucks fishes!? I started my aquarium with things bought from this store. Hundreds of dollars spent at that same store and never claimed any warranty until now. I would have been okay with the same thing told nicely, but the guy decidedly to invoke his “GM” tag. Well, you lost one customer today!

Alexander the groomer was great! He answered our questions and made us feel at ease when we brought our older pup Boba in for his first grooming appointment. Alexander made him feel at ease and did a great job trimming his nails and bathing him - we are so grateful for that help! We actually scheduled our other dog with him to get bathed in a few weeks, we were so impressed. We bought some treats and the cashier was awesome as well. Great experience all around!
